In order to widely spread out particle beams utilized in cancer therapy, laser-produced ions are developed as the injection beam for an ion synchrotron dedicated for cancer therapy. Such a laser ion source is expected to contribute largely to the realization of compactness of the size and low cost of the cancer therapy accelerator. The energy spectrum of the laser-produced ions, however, has no peak, but their intensities decrease exponentially according to the increase of the energy. For the purpose of modifying such a situation, we have proposed a scheme to rotate the beam in the longitudinal phase space with the use of the RF electric field, which is phase-adjusted with the pulse laser. We aim for a reduction of the energy spread of ± 5% selected by an energy analyzer and slits to ±1% by such phase rotation. For this purpose, a quarter wavelength resonator with two gaps with the same resonant frequency as the source laser has already been fabricated, together with its RF power source. The above phase rotation system and its recent experimental realization are presented.  相似文献

We developed a rapid, microscale and reliable analytical method for binding of drugs to plasma proteins using capillary electrophoresis (CE) with ionic cyclodextrins (CD) combined with frontal analysis. These CDs were used as pseudostationary phases of electrokinetic chromatography (EKC). The CD-modified EKC (CDEKC) approach allowed us to separate anionic drugs from plasma proteins, whereas CZE could not separate these drugs from plasma proteins because they had a similar mobility like plasma proteins. CDs uniquely interact with these drugs but not with plasma proteins. Therefore, CDEKC could be coupled with frontal analysis to measure the binding of anionic drugs to plasma proteins. The binding values obtained by CDEKC were highly consistent with those determined by the ultrafiltration method. Our CDEKC approach should expand the applicability of CE to protein binding analysis.  相似文献

Acetal additions to β-substituted vinyl ethers having a variety of substituents (alkenyl ethers) were stereochemically investigated as model reactions for their cationic polymerization. The reactions catalyzed by BF3O(C2H5)2 in CH2Cl2 at O°C gave 1:1 adducts, the steric structure of which was determined by means of 13C-NMR spectroscopy. trans-Alkenyl ethers always gave adducts with a single structure stereospecifically, indicating that the intermediate carbocation attacks a trans-alkenyl ether from a definite direction independent of the bulkiness of substituents. On the other hand, cis-alkenyl ethers formed adducts with two steric structures, and the direction of cation addition was found to depend on the bulkiness of the alkoxy group involved. The above trends were in agreement with the results for poly(alkenyl ether)s and allowed detailed discussion of the stereochemistry of the propagation processes in alkenyl ether polymerizations.  相似文献

Nano sized crystalline particles/polymer hybrids were synthesized form designed metal-organic precursors. The newly developed method is composed of the synthesis of organic matrix by polymerization and the in situ nucleation and growth of crystalline oxide particles in the organic matrix below 100°C. The design of metal-organic precursor modified with polymerizable ligand and the selection of reaction conditions does influence the size and crystallinity of ceramic particles in organic matrix. The nano-sized magnetic particle/polymer hybrid exhibits the interesting feature of superparamagnetism and quantum size effect. The crystalline particles of BaTiO3/, PbTiO3/, and KNbO3/polymer hybrids behave to be dielectric and show the typical electro-rheological behavior.  相似文献

Biologically important sites on intact porcine motilin (pMTL) were explored using its partial peptides. The partial peptides were synthesized using Fmoc (9-fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl) solid phase methodology, and tested for the binding activity to motilin receptor and the smooth muscle contractile activity. The results were as follows: important residues for the contractile activity were found to be Phe1, Ile4, and Tyr7, and an open space existed beyond the N-terminus between motilin and its receptor. On the model of interaction between motilin and motilin receptor evolved from these results, the three points of interaction, due to Phe1, Ile4, and Tyr7, and the presence of an open space were expected. The motilin agonist and antagonist, designed on this model, will help the inquiry into motilin associated diseases.  相似文献

In the living cationic polymerization of isobutyl vinyl ether (IBVE) initiated by the hydrogen iodide/zinc halide (HI/ZnX2; X = I, Br, Cl) systems, the concentration ([P*]) of the living propagating species was determined by quenching with sodiomalonic ester ( 1 ). The quenching reaction was shown to be clean, instantaneous, and quantitative to give poly (IBVE) with a terminal malonate group from which [P*] was obtained by 1H-NMR spectroscopy. In the polymerizations in toluene below +25°C, [P*] was constant and equal to the initial concentration ([HI]0) of hydrogen iodide, independent of the type and concentrations of ZnX2 as well as monomer conversion. At 0 and +25°C, however, the living species started decaying immediately after the complete consumption of monomer. In contrast, such a decay process was absent at ?15°C even in the absence of monomer until about an hour (depending on the conditions) after the end of polymerization. The deactivation reaction was first order in [P*], and the lifetime (half-life) of the living species was longer at lower temperature and at lower ZnX2 concentration. On the basis of these [P*] and lifetime measurements, the HI/ZnX2 systems were also compared with the HI/I2 counterpart.  相似文献

Telechelic ( 8 ) and end-functionalized four-arm star polymers ( 9 ) were synthesized through the coupling reactions of end-functionalized living poly(isobutyl vinyl ether) ( 5; DP n ~ 10) with the bi-and tetrafunctional silyl enol ethers, H4-nC? [CH2OC6H4C(OSiMe3) = CH2]n ( 3: n = 2; 4: n = 4). The precursor polymers 5 were prepared by living cationic polymerization with functionalized initiators, CH3CH(Cl)OCH2CH2X(6), in conjunction with zinc chloride in methylene chloride at ?15°C. The initiators 6 were obtained by the addition of hydrogen chloride gas to vinyl ethers bearing pendant functional groups X , including acetoxy [? OC(O)CH3], styryl (? OCH2C6H4-p-CH = CH2), and methacryloyl [? OC(O)C(CH3) = CH2]. The coupling reactions with 3 and 4 in methylene chloride at ?15°C for 24 h afforded the end-functionalized multiarmed polymers ( 8 and 9 ) in high yield (>91%), where those with styryl or methacryloyl groups are new multifunctional macromonomers. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The sol-gel processing is one of promising methods to fabricate well-derived integrated thin films at relatively low temperature. Ferroelectric niobates films do afford the possibilities for adding the values by the hybridization with semiconductor and/or electro-optic systems. The molecular level designing of the precursor solution was stressed as well as the control of key processing factors. The advantages of this sol-gel have been extended to prepare the ferroelectric Pb(Mg, Nb)O3-PbTiO3 solid solution films integrated on Si wafers. The crystallization of the films with desired crystal structure could be promoted by the controlled partial hydrolysis of designed alkoxide solution in the intermediate state and the pre-heated treatment of alkoxide-derived films in flow of water vapor and oxygen gas mixture.  相似文献
