Summary. Esterifications of acetic acid with some linear, secondary, tertiary, and benzylic alcohols mediated by catalytic amounts of Keggin, Wells–Dawson, and Preyssler type heteropolyacids were carried out under reflux at mild reaction conditions with good to excellent yields. Among the examined catalysts, H3PW12O40 and H14NaP5W30O110 revealed better results than other heteropolyacids. This work was performed with the aim of simplifying the esterification process by omitting any solvents and mineral acid catalysts. Easy work-up, low cost, and acidic waste reduction, which are all important features from the environmental and economical points of view, are distinct aspects of this protocol. Heteropolyacid catalysts could be separated after a simple work-up and reused for several times.  相似文献

The sodium salts of the conjugated bases of uracils undergo highly chemoselective O4-monoalkylation when treated with various alkyl halides in dry DMF, while the use of methyl iodide results in N1+N3-dimethylation. Multicomponent condensation of ethyl 3-formylindole 2-carboxylate, amines, isocyanide and (S)-N-boc-alanine or (S)-N-boc-serine is described. This Ugi four-component condensation (Ugi-4CC) reaction yielded a series of novel dipeptides containing an indolyl moiety. These compounds exhibit potential biological activity.  相似文献

The 2,6-diphenyl-4-benzo-9-crown-3-pyridine (DPCP) was used as an excellent ionophore in construction of a coated graphite poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC)-based membrane sensor. The best performance was obtained with a membrane composition of 30% poly(vinyl chloride), 60% o-nitrophenyloctyl ether (NPOE), 5% 2,6-diphenyl-4-benzo-9-crown-3-pyridine and 5% sodium tetraphenyl borate (TBP). This sensor shows very good selectivity and sensitivity towards beryllium ion over a wide variety of cations, including alkali, alkaline earth, transition and heavy metal ions. The sensor revealed a great enhancement in selectivity coefficients and sensitivity for beryllium, in comparison with the previously reported beryllium electrodes. The electrode exhibits a Nernstian behavior (with slope of 29.6 mV per decade) over a very wide concentration range (1.0×10−7 to 1.0×10−1) with a detection limit of 4.0×10−8 M (360 pg ml−1). It shows relatively fast response time, in whole concentration range (<10 s), and can be used for at least 12 weeks in the pH range of 4.5-8.0. The proposed sensor was successfully used to determination of beryllium in mineral ore.  相似文献

A new and progressive electroanalytical sensor was made by the incorporation of Pt‐doped NiO nanoparticle (Pt‐NiO‐NPs) into carbon paste electrode (CPE) amplified with 1‐hexyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (1H3MTFB) as a conductive binder. The Pt‐NiO‐NPs/1H3MTFB/CPE caused an extraordinary rise in the oxidation peak current of epinine (~4.6 times) and simultaneous reduction in the oxidation over‐potential of catecholamine drug (~120 mV). SWV method was employed to investigate the ability of Pt‐NiO‐NPs/1H3MTFB/CPE as an electroanalytical sensor in the determination of epinine in the presence of phenylephrine as two blood pressure raising drugs with ΔE=280 mV for the first time. Experimental results pertinent to SW voltammetric investigation reveal a linear relation between epinine and phenylephrine currents and drugs concentration in the rages 0.004–450 and 0.02–350 μM, respectively.  相似文献

In this work, the effect of quaternary ammonium salt containing nanoclay content (1–5 wt%) on phase morphology, rheology, cure kinetics, and mechanical properties of the vinyl ester resin (VER)‐based nanocomposites was studied. The morphological characterization including d‐spacing measurement, microscopy observation and phase‐height image processing were performed on the prepared nanocomposites using small angel X‐ray scattering (SAXS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). According to the results obtained from these techniques, it was concluded that an intercalated morphology existed for all the nanocomposites. The kinetic analyses of the isothermal curing followed by storage modulus obtained from the rheometry experiments are shown to be an affective rheological characteristic to investigate the cure behavior of VER/clay nanocomposites. In addition, the most important finding regarding the effect of nanoclay on the cross‐linking behavior of VER systems lays on the chemisorption and physisorption of the reacting monomers and initiator molecules on the nanoclay platelets surface which is found to be responsible for the retardation of the cure reaction caused by organoclay. Eventually, the mechanical characterizations were performed through the tensile, flexural and impact analysis tests. In this case, a considerable improvement of the bulk mechanical responses such as tensile and flexural strengths and also the corresponding moduli were observed for the nanocomposites. A novel poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) membrane electrode based on naphto-9-crown-3 was prepared and tested for the selective detection of beryllium ions. A suitable lipophilicity of the carrier and appropriate coordination ability were found to be essential for designing an electrode with good response characteristics. A PVC membrane with 9% naphtho-9-crown-3 carrier, 58% o-NPOE plasticizer, 3% tetraphenylborate anionic excluder and 30% poly(vinyl chloride) satisfied these requirements. The proposed sensor displayed a linear response to beryllium over a wide concentration range of 1.0 x 10(-1)-8.0 x 10(-6) M with a Nernstian slope of 29.5 mV per decade. The electrode showed very short response time (<15 s) and could be used in the pH range 3.5-9.0. The selectivity coefficient for alkali, alkaline earth, transition and heavy metal ions was smaller than 4.0 x 10(-4). The sensor was successfully used as an indicator electrode in the potentiometric titration of Be2+ with EDTA. The proposed Be(II) sensor was also used for the determination of Be2+ ions in binary mixtures.  相似文献
