The semi‐iterative method (SIM) is applied to the hyper‐power (HP) iteration, and necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the convergence of the semi‐iterative–hyper‐power (SIM–HP) iteration. Recently Terwilliger and the present author found a presentation for the three-point sl2 loop algebra via generators and relations. To obtain this presentation we defined a Lie algebra ? by generators and relations and displayed an isomorphism from ? to the three-point sl2 loop algebra. Poly(D ,L ‐lactide) and poly(D ,L ‐lactide‐co‐glycolide) with various composition and with one methacrylate and one carboxylate end group were synthesized and grafted onto poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) via the carboxylate group. The graft copolymers were crosslinked via the methacrylate groups using a free radical initiator. The polymer networks were characterized by means of NMR and studied qualitatively by means of IR spectroscopy. The influence of the glycolide content in the polyester grafts and of the number of ester units in the grafts on thermal properties and swellability were studied as well. The high swellability in water is characteristic of all hydrogels. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) showed a single glass transition temperature that occurs in the range between 51 and 69 °C. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) of the networks showed the main loss in weight in the temperature range between 290 and 370 °C. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. [reaction: see text]. A simple, palladium-catalyzed method to convert aryl halides to the parent anilines using lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide (LiN(SiMe3)2) is reported. The reaction is catalyzed by Pd(dba)2 and P(t-Bu)3 and can be run with as little as 0.2 mol % of catalyst. The reaction is faster than competing generation of benzyne intermediates and, therefore, provides the aniline products regiospecifically.  相似文献

A new catalytic asymmetric process, the iridium-catalyzed enantioselective allylic amination of (E)-cinnamyl and terminal aliphatic allylic carbonates, was developed by exploring complexes of chiral phosphoramidites. The reaction provided branched secondary and tertiary allylic amines in high yields with excellent regio- and enantioselectivity (13 examples over 94% ee). Although the reactions in polar solvent such as DMF, EtOH, and MeOH were fast, they gave low enantiomeric excesses. In contrast, reactions in THF displayed the most suitable balance of rate and enantioselectivity. Both the binaphthol unit and the disubstituted amine in the phosphoramidite affected reactivity and selectivity, and complexes of O,O'-(R)-(1,1'-dinaphthyl-2,2'-diyl)-N,N'-di-(R,R)-1-phenylethylphosphoramidite provided the highest reactivity and selectivity. Primary and cyclic secondary amines reacted at room temperature, and acyclic diethylamine reacted at 50 degrees C. p-Methoxy-substituted cinnamyl carbonate reacted similarly to the unsubstituted cinnamyl carbonate, but the o-methoxy-substituted substrate gave lower enantiomeric excess. High ee's were also observed for the products from the reaction of furanyl- and alkyl-substituted (E)-allylic carbonates.  相似文献

A ruthenium-catalyzed intermolecular, anti-Markovnikov hydroamination of vinylarenes with secondary aliphatic and benzylic amines is reported. The combination of Ru(cod)(2-methylallyl)2, 1,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)pentane, and triflic acid was the most effective catalyst of those tested. Control reactions conducted without ligand or acid did not form the amine. The reaction of morpholine, piperidine, 4-phenylpiperazine, 4-BOC-piperazine, 4-piperidone ethylene ketal, and tetrahydroisoquinoline with styrene in the presence of 5 mol % of this catalyst formed the corresponding beta-phenethylamine products in 64-96% yield, with 99% regioselectivity, and without enamine side products. Acyclic amines such as n-hexylmethylamine and N-benzylmethylamine reacted with styrene in 63 and 50% yields, respectively. Alkyl-, methoxy-, and trifluoromethyl-substituted styrenes reacted with morpholine in the presence of this catalyst or a related one containing 1,1'-bis(diisopropylphosphino)ferrocene as ligand to give the products in 51-91%. Further, the hydroamination of alpha-methyl styrene was observed for the first time with a homogeneous transition metal catalyst. Preliminary mechanistic studies showed that the reaction occurred by direct, irreversible, anti-Markovnikov hydroamination and that the mechanism of the ruthenium-catalyzed hydroamination is likely to be distinct from that of the recently reported rhodium-catalyzed reaction.  相似文献

The regio- and enantioselective alpha-allylation of unstabilized ketone enolates with unsymmetrical allylic carbonates to form the branched substitution products in the presence of metallacyclic iridium catalysts is reported. The products, branched gamma,delta-unsaturated ketones, were obtained from readily available silyl enol ethers and achiral Boc-protected allylic alcohols in high regioselectivities and enantioselectivities (91-96% ee). The combination of CsF and ZnF2 was shown to promote this reaction and suppress the formation of diallylation byproducts. In addition, iridium complexes derived from simple phosphoramidite ligands were shown to catalyze this reaction with excellent selectivities, and spectroscopic data show that a cyclometalated Ir precatalyst is formed in situ. This process provides an enantioselective access to synthetically important bifunctional compounds, which are generally accessible, but in racemic form, through Claisen rearrangements. Ten examples of the reactions of aromatic, as well as aliphatic, substrates are reported.  相似文献

An enantioselective and regioselective iridium-catalyzed allylic etherification is described. The reaction of sodium and lithium aryloxides with achiral (E)-cinnamyl and terminal aliphatic allylic electrophiles in the presence of 2 mol % of an iridium-phosphoramidite complex provides chiral allylic aryl ethers in high yields and excellent levels of regio- and enantioselectivity. Lithium aryloxides containing a single substituent at an ortho, meta, or para position as well as sterically hindered phenoxides were tolerated. Reactions in THF displayed the most suitable balance of rate, regio-, and enantioselectivity. High ee's were also observed for the products from the reaction of alkyl (E)-allylic carbonates.  相似文献

Based on pronounced enhancing effects in combination with other DNA-damaging agents the potentials of Ni(II), Cd(II) and As(III) to interfere with DNA repair processes in HeLa cells was investigated. With respect to oxidative DNA damage, Ni(II) and Cd(II) induced DNA strand breaks starting at concentrations of 250 μM and 5 μM, respectively. The induction of oxidative DNA base modifications like 8-hydroxyguanine was restricted to the cytotoxic concentration of 750 μM Ni(II) and not observed after treatment with Cd(II). In contrast, the removal of oxidative DNA base modifications was inhibited at concentrations as low as 50 μM Ni(II) and 0.5 μM Cd(II). Regarding nucleotide excision repair, Ni(II) and Cd(II) disturbed the DNA-protein interactions involved in the damage recognition step when applying HeLa nuclear protein extracts and a UV-damaged oligonucleotide, while As(III) inhibited the actual incision event. In the case of Ni(II) and Cd(II), this effect was reversible by the addition of Mg(II) and Zn(II), respectively. Furthermore, Cd(II) inactivated the isolated bacterial Fpg protein, most likely by the displacement of Zn(II) from its zinc finger structure. Since DNA is continuously damaged by exogenous and endogenous sources, an impaired repair capacity might well account for the carcinogenic action of the metal compounds. An arylrhodium(I) complex containing a labile dative ligand was prepared, and its reactivity toward aryl imines was investigated. The arylrhodium(I) complex (DPPE)Rh(C5H5N)(p-tol), 2, was isolated in 65% yield from [(DPPE)Rh(mu-Cl)]2, pyridine, and p-tolyllithium. Reaction of 2 with the aldimine (p-tol)CH=N(C6H4-p-CO2Me) (3a-Tol) gave the Rh amide insertion product 4 in 88% isolated yield. The solid-state structure of 4 was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The reaction of 2 with the electron-neutral and electron-rich aldimines (Ph)CH=NPh (3b) and (p-tol)CH=N(C6H4-p-OMe) (3c) also appeared to involve insertion, but the amido complexes formed from these insertions were not stable. Thus, reaction of 2 with 3b, followed by addition of Et3NHCl, gave the amine and ketimine products (Ph)(p-tol)CH-NHPh, 5, and (p-tol)(Ph)C=N(Ph), 6, in 25% and 50% yields. Several lines of data indicate that these products are formed by a sequence of transformations involving insertion of imine to give a Rh amide intermediate, beta-hydrogen elimination, cyclometalation to form a bound imine and H2, and protonolysis of the metallacycle upon addition of Et3NHCl. Consistent with this proposal, the proposed metallacycle containing the ortho-metalated ketimine ligand (p-tol)2C=N(C6H4-p-OMe) was isolated and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献
