The catalase (fromAspergillus niger) has been immobilized by a chemical method on the pous SiO2 modified with γ-aminopropyltrietoxysilane, followed with glutaraldehyde and by a physical method in alginate and γ-carrageenan gel. Optimum support:enzyme ratios and pH values were determined for modified SiO2 in a series of immobilization reactions of catalase in the presence of the crosslinking agent glutaraldehyde, and for alginate and γ-carrageenan in the presence of hemoglobin and bovine serum albimine. pH and temperaturedependent activity variations and the stability properties of immobilized catalase preparations were investigated. Rate constants for H2O2 decomposition and catalase deactivation were determined. The decomposition rate of H2O2 used in the cold pasteurizatioan of milk were investigated in a discontinuous batch type reactor system. Activity half-lives of immobilized catalase were determined.  相似文献

Poly(styrene-co-acrylamide) (PS-AAM) latex was prepared, fractionated by sedimentation under gravity, and characterized by PCS, infrared spectra, secondary and backscattered electron imaging in the scanning electron microscope, and electron spectroscopy imaging in an analytical transmission electron microscope. Three latex fractions were obtained. The lower fraction was opalescent and its particles were the more uniform, concerning size, chemical composition, and topochemical features. This lower fraction was still further fractionated by zonal centrifugation in a density gradient, yielding two fractions with similar macrocrystal-forming abilities but different sizes and chemical compositions. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to identify the effects of objective laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) on the acoustic parameters of patients by comparing their voice samples with that of control subjects. STUDY DESIGN: Prospective study in two tertiary reference hospitals. METHODS: 48 consecutive patients with symptoms related to LPR and 64 control subjects were included in the study. Suspected LPR patients underwent a 24-hour ambulatory pH monitoring, and 25 (52%) of them were shown to have objective LPR. Acoustical evaluation results of objective LPR patients were compared with that of symptomatic LPR patients and control subjects. RESULTS: All frequency perturbation values obtained from objective and symptomatic LPR patients were higher than the control subjects (P<0.01). Mean fundamental frequency, amplitude perturbation measures, and noise-to-harmonics ratio were not significantly different between groups. CONCLUSION: LPR patients have significantly different frequency perturbation values than control subjects.  相似文献

In order to evaluate the energy distribution (due to matter and fields including gravitation) associated with a space-time model of cylindrically-symmetric Marder universe, we consider the Møller, Einstein, Bergmann–Thomson and Landau–Lifshitz energy and momentum definitions in the teleparallel gravity (TG). The energy-momentum distributions are found to be zero. These results are the same as a previous works of Aygün et al., they investigated the same problem in general relativity (GR) by using the Einstein, Møller, Bergmann–Thomson, Landau–Lifshitz (LL), Papapetrou, Qadir–Sharif and Weinberg’s definitions. These results support the viewpoints of Banerjee–Sen, Xulu, Radinschi and Aydo?du–Salt?. Another point is that our study agree with previous works of Cooperstock–Israelit, Rosen, Johri et al. This paper indicates an important point that these energy-momentum definitions agree with each other not only in general relativity but also in teleparallel gravity. It is also independent of the teleparallel dimensionless coupling constants, which means that it is valid not only in the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity, but also in any teleparallel model.  相似文献

The coherent optical information storage capacity of an atomic Bose-Einstein condensate is examined. The theory of slow light propagation in atomic clouds is generalized to the short-pulse regime by taking into account group velocity dispersion. It is shown that the number of stored pulses in the condensate can be optimized for a particular coupling laser power, temperature, and interatomic interaction strength. Analytical results are derived for a semi-ideal model of the condensate using the effective uniform density zone approximation. Detailed numerical simulations are also performed. It is found that the axial density profile of the condensate protects the pulse against group velocity dispersion. Furthermore, taking into account the finite radial size of the condensate, multimode light propagation in an atomic Bose-Einstein condensate is investigated. The number of modes that can be supported by a condensate is found. The single-mode condition is determined as a function of experimentally accessible parameters including trap size, temperature, condensate number density, and scattering length. Quantum coherent atom-light interaction schemes are proposed for enhancing multimode light propagation effects.  相似文献
