A new, wide-band, high-speed and high-sensitivity THz detector has been developed. The prototype detector consists of a parabolic cylindrical mirror, a long wire antenna and a Schottky barrier diode. Direct detection measurements have shown a stable sensitivity of 150 ± 50 V/W for 1–2 THz without any adjustments. The long wire antenna was fixed at the focus of parabolic cylindrical mirror then it has been realized less operation steps, easy coupling to the external THz signals and a dramatic enhancement in the practicality of this system. The optically polished mirror and frosted surface one showed comparable sensitivities, thus easy polishing and less cost mirror fabrication can be applied for this system. The radiation pattern showed a maximum radiation angle of approximately 23° with its dominant main lobe, which was attributed to the wire antenna character and confirmed good agreements with classical antenna theory.  相似文献

The structure of the thermotropic cubic phases of 4′- n -alkoxy-3′-nitrobiphenyl-4-carboxylic acids (ANBC- n , where n indicates the number of carbon atoms in the alkoxy group) was studied by X-ray diffraction. For the homologues with n = 15, 16, 17, and 18, the cubic phase was of an Ia 3 d type, whereas the homologues with n = 19, 20, and 21 exhibited an Im 3 m cubic structure; for these seven homologues the same type of cubic structure was observed both on heating and cooling. Further lengthening of the alkoxy chain to n = 22 and 26, however, gave two types of cubic structure in the cubic phase region on heating, one with Im 3 m symmetry in the low temperature region and the other with Ia 3 d symmetry in the high temperature region. On cooling, the two homologues exhibited the Ia 3 d cubic structure only. This is the first example in the cubic phase region of a series of homologues containing two types of structure, dependent on temperature and n . Such a complicated phase diagram in the cubic region is clearly understood qualitatively in terms of Gibbs free energy-temperature diagrams. The dependence of structural parameters such as the cubic lattice constant on the alkoxy chain length n are also presented and discussed.  相似文献

We developed a CZE method for simultaneous determination of pyridine-triphenylborane (PTPB) anti-fouling agent and its degradation products such as diphenylborinic acid (DPB), phenylboronic acid (MPB), and phenol in artificial seawater (ASW) with no extraction procedure. The ASW samples, in which 20 % (v/v) acetonitrile was added, were injected directly into the capillary using vacuum injection. As the background electrolyte, 60 mM sodium tetraborate adjusted to pH 9.8 was used. The LODs (S/N = 3) for PTPB, DPB, MPB, and phenol were, respectively, 55, 78, 126, and 30 μg L?1. The RSDs (n = 4) for analytes listed above were in the respective ranges of 2.7–5.7, 0.68–6.1, and 0.69–1.1 % for the peak area, peak height, and migration time. Simple degradation experiments were conducted to verify the usefulness of the proposed method. The PTPB samples dissolved in ASW were put in the open air, and rooms with and without light. The sample solutions were analyzed over time. We inferred that PTPB in ASW was more degraded by photolysis than by hydrolysis. The proposed CZE method has been demonstrated as a useful tool to elucidate the PTPB degradation process and its degradation products in ASW.  相似文献

We have developed high-field and multifrequency (HFMF) electron spin resonance (ESR) apparatus for the magnetic fields up to 65 T at frequencies up to about 6 THz. In addition to this pulsed field ESR apparatus, we are making a multifrequency ESR apparatus with very high sensitivity in a static field. We report the results of ESR studies on BaCoV2O8 and NiGa2S4, followed by recent developments and future plans of our HFMF ESR apparatus.  相似文献

Novel pentofuranose analogs of phospha sugar derivatives were synthesized starting from 1-phenyl-2-phospholene 1-oxide ( 1 ). First, the allylic oxidation of 1-phenyl-2-phospholene 1-oxide ( 1 ) with CrO 3 in Ac 2 O-AcOH or 3-hydroxy-1-phenyl-2-phospholene ( 2 ) with MnO 2 afforded 1-phenyl-4-oxo-2-phospholene 1-oxide ( 3 ). The C-5 alkylation of 3 in the presence of NaH by using benzyl bromide or methyl iodide as electrophiles afforded the target title compounds.  相似文献

A systematic perturbation theory is developed for the ESR shift and is applied to the spin-1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnetic chain with a general anisotropic exchange interaction. Using the Bethe ansatz technique, the resonance shift is obtained exactly for the whole range of temperature and magnetic field in the first order of the anisotropy. The obtained g shift strongly depends on magnetic fields at low temperature, showing a significant deviation from the previous classical result.  相似文献

The recent observation [A. Oosawa et al., J. Phys. Condens. Matter 11, 265 (1999)] of the field-induced Neel ordering in the spin-gap magnetic compound TlCuCl3 is interpreted as a Bose-Einstein condensation of magnons. A Hartree-Fock-type calculation based on this picture is shown to describe the temperature dependence of the magnetization well.  相似文献

The assembly of metal oxide nanoparticles (NPs) on a biomolecular template by a one-pot hydrothermal synthesis method is achieved for the first time. Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoneedles (length: ~100 nm; width: ~10 nm) were assembled on cyclic-diphenylalanine (cFF) nanorods (length: 2–10 μm; width: 200 nm). The Fe3O4 nanoneedles and cFF nanorods were simultaneously synthesized from FeSO4 and l-phenylalanine by hydrothermal synthesis (220 °C and 22 MPa), respectively. The samples were analyzed by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometry. Experimental results indicate that Fe3O4 nanoneedles were assembled on cFF nanorods during the hydrothermal reaction. The composite contained 3.3 wt% Fe3O4 nanoneedles without any loss of the original magnetic properties of Fe3O4.  相似文献
