A sensitive and specific method using gas chromatography and negative-ion chemical ionization mass spectrometry is described for the determination of 5-fluoro-2'-deoxyuridine (FdUrd) in plasma. The method is based on the formation of the pentafluoropropionyl derivative of FdUrd and of its stable isotope as internal standard after sample clean-up by solid-phase extraction and purification by high-performance liquid chromatography. Quantification in plasma was possible down to 300 pg/ml. The method was applied to the analysis of plasma levels of FdUrd in mice and dogs.  相似文献

Ethylene–vinyl acetate copolymers contain two kinds of side chains: acetoxy branches originating from incorporated vinyl acetate and alkyl branches. The alkyl branching was determined by infrared analysis after converting the ethylene–vinyl acetate copolymer to a hydrocarbon polymer by three steps: hydrolysis, iodation with hydriodic acid containing red phosphorus, and reductive hydrogenation with lithium aluminum hydride. It was found that physical properties such as stiffness were dependent both on the degree of alkyl chain branching and on vinyl acetate content.  相似文献

Ruthenium-catalyzed silylation of sp3 C-H bonds at a benzylic position with hydrosilanes gave benzylsilanes. For this silylation reaction, Ru3(CO)12 complex showed high catalytic activity. This silylation proceeded at the methyl C-H bond selectively. For this silylation reaction, pyridyl and pyrazolyl groups, and the imino group in hydrazones, can function as a directing group. Several hydrosilanes involving triethyl-, dimethylphenyl-, tert-butyldimethyl-, and triphenylsilanes can be used as a silylating reagent. Coordination of an sp2 nitrogen atom to the ruthenium complex is important for achieving this silylation reaction.  相似文献

Anoble mechanism of spin polarization is proposed for finite graphite sheet with edge. For graphite ribbon with zigzag edge, there appear peculiar ‘edge states’. These localized states comprise nearly flat band at the Fermi level, which easily causes magnetic instability. Magnetic structure is suggested from Hartree-Fock analysis of the Hubbard model, where huge magnetic moments are induced at around both of edges by weak HubbardU and are coupled antiferromagnetically with each other.  相似文献

The sorption of manganese(II) and zinc(II) on soil samples collected from Sapporo (Japan) and Tiksi (Russia) was investigated using a radiotracer technique to elucidate the abilities of soil organic matter as a scavenger of heavy metals released to the soil environment. The sorbed amounts of both manganese and zinc metals to organic soil components were estimated to be different on different soils, depending on the pH of aqueous phase. The degree of humification of pertinent soils was suggested as a parameter which could describe the properties of the organic soil matter in complexing with heavy metals.  相似文献

Abstract— The self-sensitized photooxidation of quercetin was not suppressed by superoxide dismutase (SOD), but suppressed by ascorbate. During the suppression of quercetin photooxidation, ascorbate was oxidized. These results suggest the reduction of oxidized quercetin to quercetin by ascorbate. Quercetin photooxidation in the presence of both riboflavin and EDTA was suppressed by SOD by about 90%. The result suggests the participation of O2- in the photooxidation of quercetin. The participation of O2- in the quercetin oxidation was confirmed by a xanthine-xanthine oxidase system. Based on these results the physiological and pharmacological functions of quercetin are discussed.  相似文献

The crystallization of calcium carbonate was carried out by mixing CaCl(2) and Na(2)CO(3) solutions. The morphology of precursor formed prior to the nucleation of the polymorphous crystals (calcite and vaterite) varies depending on the feed concentration. The faster nucleation rate of polymorphous crystals in 0.2 mol/L than in 0.05 mol/L solution results in the prompt disappearance of the precursor at 0.2 mol/L. In 0.05 mol/L solutions the lifetime of the precursor is relatively long. The crystallization fraction of vaterite increases with the feed concentration and decreases with the addition rate of Na(2)CO(2) solution. Vaterite takes on the various morphologies of the aggregates of the primary flocculation body (spherulite) depending on the crystallization conditions. Vaterite transforms to calcite by a direct solution-mediated mechanism. During crystallization the concentration attains a stationary value, which increases with the feed concentration and decreases with the addition rate of Na(2)CO(2) solution. This may be due to the crystal size decrease expected from the Gibbs-Kelvin equation. Magnesium ion suppresses the transformation of vaterite by inhibiting the growth of the calcite. Magnesium ion is selectively included in calcite and causes the increase of the attained concentration and the remarkable change in the morphology of calcite especially in 0.05 mol/L solution. We assessed the applicability and basis set dependency of the B3LYP functional to investigate magnetic interactions of Mn complexes. For the purpose, we constructed a test set consisting of 16 Mn complexes with various oxidation states and structural motifs.The B3LYP results correctly reproduced magnetism and magneto–redox correlation of the standard μ-oxo motifs with superexchange paths, while it does not work for weak magnetic complexes. We also showed that a modest basis set yields results similar to those of triple-zeta plus diffuse-and-polarization functions. This basis set is expected to be a standard basis set for investigating magnetism of manganese complexes.  相似文献

Flow characteristics of liquid films vertically falling along the outer wall of a circular tube without concurrent gas flow are experimentally studied, and attention is given to the longitudinally developing liquid film flow in the flow direction. Flow measurements are carried out by the methods of needle contact and electric capacity, and the obtained data are statistically processed.There exists a definite difference in flow characteristics such as wave motion patterns, film thicknesses, critical Reynolds number, and so on, depending strongly on the longitudinal distance in the flow direction as well as the liquid film Reynolds number. Measured probability distributions of interfacial waves can be well expressed by the functions of probability distribution statistically well-known as normal, logarithmic normal and gamma distributions. In terms of these functions, interfacial wave patterns are definitely classified over the whole experimental flow regime. As a rule, interfacial wave motion proceeds vigorously with increases of the longitudinal distance and Reynolds number; however, there exists a flow condition that wave fluctuation never grows up but declines regardless of an increase of Reynolds number.  相似文献
