Abstract— Electronic and catalytic properties of CuO doped by univalent or trivalent elements were investigated. Doping B or Sb into CuO was found to induce the decarboxylation reaction of pyruvic acid under irradiation with visible light. The decarboxylation reaction is accelerated by raising the temperature. The electronic conductivity of CuO is decreased by increasing the doping concentration of the trivalent element in the low concentration region and increased in the high concentration region. The doping concentration which gives the maximum production of the catalytic decarboxylation is well coincident with the concentration at the minimum electronic conductivity. 相似文献

Ground-state properties of C, O, and Ne isotopes are described in the framework of Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov theory with density-dependent finite-range Gogny interaction D1S. We include all the contributions to the Hartree-Fock and pairing feld arising from Gogny and Coulomb interaction as well as the center of mass correction in the numerical calcu/ations. These ground-state properties of C, O, and Ne isotopes are compared with available experimental results, Hartree-Fock plus BCS, shell model and relativistic Hartree--Bogoliubov calculations. The agreement between experiments and our theoretical results is pretty well. The predicted drip-line is dependent strongly on the model and effective interaction due to their sensitivity to various theoretical details. The calculations predict no evidence for halo structure predicted for C,O, and Ne isotopes in a previous RHB study. 相似文献

The importance of stochasticity in cellular processes is increasingly recognized in both theoretical and experimental studies. General features of stochasticity in gene regulation and expression are briefly reviewed in this article, which include the main experimental phenomena, classification, quantization and regulation of noises. The correlation and transmission of noise in cascade networks are analyzed further and the stochastic simulation methods that can capture effects of intrinsic and extrinsic noise are described. 相似文献

We introduce a finite element formulation of Detonation problems. The detonation involves supersonic combustion waves which emanate from an exothermic chemical reaction occurring behind propagating shock waves. The development of geometrically versatile schemes is required to meet practical needs. The Galerkin/Least-squares method with entropy variables possesses good accuracy and stability properties. As a first attempt to handle chemical reaction model, we use a simple two front model which has a good performance and a flexibility in adapting to the experimental data. It is emphasized that the process of generation and propagation of the shock triple points has been demonstrated. 相似文献

Abstract In this paper, we develop a land use allocation model to search for the optimal ratio of organic (nonchemical) and conventional (chemical‐use) farming acreage. The idea is to incorporate stochastic production frontiers (SPFs) to a multi‐criteria decision making (MCDM) model as technological constraints. The objectives of this model are to maximize net returns, minimize chemical inputs, and optimize organic inputs given environmental and ecological concerns. The compromise solutions suggest the desirable ratio of organic and conventional farming acreage and targetable operations for each farming system to improve regional welfare. This method was applied to the Kona coffee belt, Hawaii, and the analysis determined the optimal proportion of organic and conventional Kona coffee farming fields as 0.265 to 0.735 in terms of optimizing community benefits or regional welfare. 相似文献

The serine protease factor Xa (FXa) is a key enzyme in the blood coagulation cascade, acting at the convergent point of the extrinsic and intrinsic pathways. The serine protease factor Xa (FXa) is a key enzyme in the blood coagulation cascade, acting at the convergent point of the extrinsic and intrinsic pathways. In our search for Fxa inhibitors as novel anticoagulants we identified the active isomer of the published FXa inhibitor, 2,7-bis-(4-amidinobenzilidine)-cycloheptan-l-one (BABCH), as the (Z, Z) isomer (ZK-805412, FXa Ki=0.66 nM). This photochemically labile (Z, Z) isomer has served as a conformationally rigid template for the development of distinct classes of potent, selective and orally active FXa inhibitors. Template evolution, in vitro SAR studies as well as our efforts to optimize in vivo parameters will be discussed. 相似文献
