Since the initial MXenes were discovered in 2011, several MXene compositions constructed using combinations of various transition metals have been developed. MXenes are ideal candidates for different applications in energy conversion and storage, because of their unique and interesting characteristics, which included good electrical conductivity, hydrophilicity, and simplicity of large-scale synthesis. Herein, we study the current developments in two-dimensional (2D) MXene nanosheets for energy storage and conversion technologies. First, we discuss the introduction to energy storage and conversion devices. Later, we emphasized on 2D MXenes and some specific properties of MXenes. Subsequently, research advances in MXene-based electrode materials for energy storage such as supercapacitors and rechargeable batteries is summarized. We provide the relevant energy storage processes, common challenges, and potential approaches to an acceptable solution for 2D MXene-based energy storage. In addition, recent advances for MXenes used in energy conversion devices like solar cells, fuel cells and catalysis is also summarized. Finally, the future prospective of growing MXene-based energy conversion and storage are highlighted.  相似文献

This study describes a comparison between LC‐UV and LC–MS method for the simultaneous analyses of a few disease‐modifying agents of multiple sclerosis. Quantitative determination of fampridine (FAM), teriflunomide (TFM) and dimethyl fumarate (DMF) was performed in human plasma with the recovery values in the range of 85–115%. A reversed‐phase high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with UV as well as MS detection is used. The method utilizes an XBridge C18 silica column and a gradient elution with mobile phase consisting of ammonium formate and acetonitrile at a flow rate of 0.5 mL min?1. The method adequately resolves FAM, TFM and DMF within a run time of 15 min. Owing to low molecular weights, the estimation of DMF and FAM is more versatile in UV than MS detection. With LC‐UV, the detection limits of FAM, TFM and DMF were 0.1, 0.05, 0.05 μg and the quantification limit for all the analytes was 1 μg. With LC–MS, the detection and quantification limits for all of the analytes were 1 and 5 ng, respectively. The two techniques were completely validated and shown to be reproducible and sensitive. Lactate, malate and succinate dehydrogenases (LDH, MDH and SDH) were estimated in the foetal brain and liver following in utero exposure of mice to a continuous wave of unfocussed ultrasound. Enzymes in both tissues showed a significant increase (P greater than 0.001), indicating high energy demand due to depletion of oxygen. The increase was recorded even on the twentieth day of pregnancy.  相似文献

MESNA is the sodium salt of 2-mercaptoethane sulfonate, a thiol-containing drug. It is an antioxidant used particularly in renal protection. Several studies have proved that MESNA has beneficial effects in ischemic acute renal failure where it scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS), due to the presence of the thiol group. It also reduces the size of urinary bladder cancer. MESNA was proved to be effective in preventing hemorrhagic cystitis induced by high doses of several chemotherapeutic regimens such as cyclophosphamide and ifosfamide. It has been shown that MESNA functions as an uroprotective substance in drug-induced experimental bladder cancer models. Moreover, recent studies have suggested that it is also effective in reducing intestinal inflammation in colitis. Because of the increased level of interest in using MESNA for treating various disorders, a new and sensitive method was needed to understand the pharmacokinetics of this drug. Accordingly, we developed a new method for determining free MESNA in biological samples by using ThioGlo-3 [3H-Naphto [2,1-b] pyran, 9-acetoxy-2-(4-(2,5-dihydro-2, 5-dioxo-1H-pyrrol-1-yl) phenyl-3-oxo)] as the derivatizing agent. MESNA was detected fluorimetrically by reverse-phase HPLC using acetonitrile:water (75:25) along with acetic acid and phosphoric acid (1 mL/L each) as the mobile phase. The detection limit was 1.64 nm per 20 microL injection volume, with a linearity (r = 0.999) in the calibration curve extending over a range 2.5-2500 nm. The coefficients of variation for within-run and between-run precision were 0.43 and 3.31%, respectively. The relative recoveries in the biological samples were in the range 87 +/- 6 to 93 +/- 2.4%. The concentrations of MESNA in the biological samples (lungs, liver, kidney and brain) were determined. The highest concentration of MESNA was found in plasma. Of all the tissues, the kidney was found to have the highest concentration while the liver had the lowest concentration.  相似文献

We have developed a new method for solid phase extraction (SPE) and preconcentration of trace amounts of cadmium and zinc using cross linked chitosan that was functionalized with 2-aminopyridine-3-carboxy acid. Analytical parameters, sample pH, effect of flow rate, sample volume, and concentration of eluent on column SPE were investigated. The effect of matrix ions on the recovery of cadmium and zinc has been investigated and were found not to interfere with preconcentration. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the preconcentration factors for Cd(II) and Zn(II) were found to be 90. The two elements were quantified via atomic absorption spectrometry. The detection limits for cadmium and zinc are 21 and 65?ng?L?1, respectively. The method was evaluated by analyzing a certified reference material (NIST 1643e; water) and has been successfully applied to the analysis of cadmium and zinc in environmental water samples.

The reaction of prenylated carbene complexes and 2-alkynylbenzoyl derivatives has been investigated. Phenanthrene derivatives are produced if iodine is added prior to product isolation. Under these conditions alkyl migration reactions occur to form the observed products. The elevated temperature electromagnetic materials production system in chemical engineering requires increasingly more refined theoretical and computational models for describing multiple, simultaneous thermophysical effects. Motivated by this application, the present paper addresses heat and mass transfer in a chemically reacting laminar mixed convection flow from a vertical sheet with inducedmagnetic field. The governing equations of the flow are solved analytically using a perturbation technique. The influences of various established parameters on the flow, induced magnetic field, and heat and mass transfer are studied graphically in the present analysis. Finally, we also obtained expressions for shear stress, current density and Nusselt number, and discussed the results through tables.  相似文献
