A simple and efficient method, proceeding through a new mechanistic pathway, for the synthesis of spiro[indoline-3,4-thiopyrano[2.3-b]indole derivatives have been developed by exploiting the reaction of thieno[2,3-b]indole-2,3-dione with N-substituted isatilidenes. Cu(I)-catalyzed reaction of o-bromobenzaldehydes with β-ketoesters using Cs(2)CO(3) as a base and 2-picolinic acid as an additive proceeds under mild conditions and gives access to substituted naphthalenes in a single step with yields ranging from 71 to 86%. The new annulation process relies on a domino Knoevenagel condensation/C-arylation/1,2-addition/carboxylic acid cleavage. The annulation can also be achieved with o-iodobenzaldehyde. 相似文献

Alternations in vascular permeability for different molecules, drugs, and contrast agents might be a significant early marker of development of various diseases such as atherosclerosis. However, up to date experimental studies of molecular diffusion across vascular wall have been limited. Recently, we demonstrated that the Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technique could be applied for noninvasive and nondestructive quantification of molecular diffusion in different biological tissues. However, the viability of the OCT-based assessment of molecular diffusion should be validated with established methods. This study focused on comparing molecular diffusion rates in vascular tissues measured with OCT and standard fluorescent microscopy. Noninvasive quantification of tetramethylrhodamine (fluorescent dye) permeability in porcine vascular tissues was performed using a fiber-based OCT system. Concurrently, standard histological examination of dye diffusion was performed and quantified with fluorescent microscopy. The permeability of tetramethylrhodamine was found to be (2.08 ± 0.31) × 10?5 cm/s with the fluorescent technique (n = 8), and (2.45 ± 0.46) × 10?5 cm/s with the OCT (n = 3). Good correlation between permeability rates measured by OCT and histology was demonstrated, suggesting that the OCT-based method could be used for accurate, nondestructive assessment of molecular diffusion in multilayered tissues. 相似文献

The reaction of thiols and anhydrides to form ring opened thioester/acids is shown to be highly reversible and it is accordingly employed in the fabrication of covalent adaptable networks (CANs) that possess tunable dynamic covalent chemistry. Maleic, succinic, and phthalic anhydride derivatives were used as bifunctional reactants in systems with varied stoichiometries, catalyst, and loadings. Dynamic characteristics such as temperature‐dependent stress relaxation, direct reprocessing and recycling abilities of a range of thiol–anhydride elastomers, glasses, composites and photopolymers are discussed. Depending on the catalyst strength, 100 % of externally imposed stresses were relaxed in the order of minutes to 2 hours at mild temperatures (80–120 °C). Pristine properties of the original materials were recovered following up to five cycles of a hot‐press reprocessing technique (1 h/100 °C). 相似文献

ABSTRACTThe structural, electronic, intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) and nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of the donor-π-acceptor (D-π-A) azo linked dyes bearing coumarin thiophene bridge with different acceptors were inspected by Z-scan and DFT methods. The dye 3a exhibits bathochromic absorption maxima (649 and 650?nm) in the near IR region in DMF and DMSO. The dye 3a holds low HOMO–LUMO gap elucidated by CV and DFT indicating strong ICT character. The thermal stability is high for 3a and it shows enhanced NLO property by Z-scan and DFT methods as predicted in both global and range-separated hybrid functionals. The molecular geometry was optimised using B3LYP/6-311?+?g(d,p). The ICT characteristics are correlated with NLO properties obtained by Z-scan and DFT techniques. 相似文献

Bismuth Zinc niobate (Bi1.5Zn1.0Nb1.5O7) thin films were deposited by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method on fused silica substrates at different oxygen pressures.
The structural, microwave dielectric and optical properties of these thin films were systematically studied for both the as-deposited
and the annealed films at 600°C. The as-deposited films were all amorphous in nature but crystallized on annealing at 600°C
in air. The surface morphology as studied by atomic force microscopy (AFM) reveals ultra-fine grains in the case of as-deposited
thin films and cluster grain morphology on annealing. The as-deposited films exhibit refractive index in the range of 2.36–2.53
(at a wavelength of 750 nm) with an optical absorption edge value of 3.30–3.52 eV and a maximum dielectric constant of 11
at 12.15 GHz. On annealing the films at 600°C they crystallize to the cubic pyrochlore structure accompanied by an increase
in band gap, refractive index and microwave dielectric constant. 相似文献

Significant enhancement of both the rate and the chemoselectivity of iron‐catalyzed oxidative coupling of phenols can be achieved in fluorinated solvents, such as 1,1,1,3,3,3‐hexafluoropropan‐2‐ol (HFIP), 2,2,2‐trifluoroethanol (TFE), and 1‐phenyl‐2,2,2‐trifluoroethanol. The generality of this effect was examined for the cross‐coupling of phenols with arenes and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and of phenol with β‐dicarbonyl compounds. The new conditions were utilized in the synthesis of 2′′′‐dehydroxycalodenin B in only four synthetic steps. 相似文献
