The catalytic activity of CeO2 and palladium nanoparticles supported fly ash zeolite (CeO2/Pd@FAZ) for Csp2-Csp2 bond formation was studied. CeO2/Pd@FAZ was characterized by FTIR, XRD, EDAX and TEM studies. In the Suzuki-Miyauracross-coupling reaction, biphenyl derivatives with excellent yields were obtained, and the reaction conditions were optimized. The catalytic activity was explored using a wide variety of diversely substituted aryl bromides and chlorides with aryl boronic acid under optimized reaction conditions. The recyclability of the catalyst was established for three cycles, with the conversion rate from 99 to 40%, which gained the advantage of heterogeneous catalysis.  相似文献

Chemistry of hybrid nanocomposites depends mainly on their reactivity and structural relationship. This review mainly reports on the processing techniques of inorganic–organic hybrid nanocomposites and their natural reactivity. Herein, the structure, processing methods and properties of nanocomposites with three different types of matrices are discussed in general. This paper presents the novel synthesis of peptide, N,N′(1,2-phenylene)bis-hippuricamide tethered metal [Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II) and Co(II)] based functionalized nanoparticles via modified Brust-Schiffrin methodology. The growth, organic composition and morphology of these functionalized nanoparticles have been evaluated by UV-Vis, FT-IR spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. They are structurally and thermally characterized by X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. Moreover, the interfacial dealings of these functionalized nanoparticles with Calf-thymus DNA and pUC19 DNA reveal that the functionalized nanoparticles of cobalt is an effective DNA damaging agent under physiological conditions. This has been supported by its efficient antimicrobial character against few fungal and bacterial strains, thereby steering its way towards biomedical applications as a metal based nanocarrier.  相似文献

The Strecker reaction was performed via a one-pot three component condensation of hetero aromatic/aromatic aldehydes, secondary amines and trimetylsilyl cyanide in the presence of propylphosphonic anhydride(T3P~) to accomplish the corresponding a-aminonitriles. A well‐defined triazole functionalized porous triazine based polymers act as solid heterogeneous catalyst after incorporating palladium oxide nanoparticles (PdO@TTAS) have been synthesized and thoroughly characterized by various techniques such as, FT‐IR, UV‐DRS, solid state 13C CP‐MAS, XPS, powder X‐ray diffraction, TGA, SEM and TEM analysis has been detailed illustrated. It is important to note that synthesized catalytic performance for carbonylation of aryl halides (X = I, Br) with EDC.HCl (N‐(3‐dimethylaminopropyl)‐N′‐ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride), and formic acid was found to be an effective CO source in the presence of triethylamine as a base and DMF as a solvent medium at 80 °C for about 3 hr. The PdO@TTAS catalyst exhibits superior catalytic performance and along with good yield (up to 90%). Moreover, studying the heterogeneity and reusability of the environmentally friendly solid catalyst can be easily separated by simple filtration and then recycled for several times. In this reaction method, we avoided ligand, additive, promoters and CO gas, due to additional problem arise by using gaseous CO, highly toxic greenhouse gases and high pressurized reaction setup.  相似文献

In attempt to search for more potent antimicrobial agents, a series of 7‐nitro‐1‐(piperidin‐4‐yl)‐4,5‐dihydro‐[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3‐a]quinoline‐derived sulphonamides were synthesized. Their structures were established by elemental analyses, IR, and NMR (1H and 13C) spectral data. The antibacterial activity of the obtained compounds was investigated against different Gram‐negative (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and Gram‐positive (Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus) bacteria and antifungal activity against two fungal strains (Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus clavatus) using disk diffusion method at various concentrations (20, 40, 60, and 80 μg/mL). The study reveals that most of the title compounds showed significant antibacterial and fungal activity when compared with their respective standards streptomycin and griseofulvin.  相似文献

The goal of nanomaterials' surface modification using a biomaterial is to preserve the materials' bulk properties while modifying only their surface to possess desired recognition and specificity. Here, we have developed a phase-assisted, modified Brust-Schiffrin methodological synthesis of metallo nanocomplexes anchored by a peptide, N,N'-(1,3-propylene)-bis-hippuricamide. The spectral, thermal and morphological characterizations assure the formation of nanocomplexes. Therapeutic behavior of all the nanocomplexes has been well sighted by evaluating their DNA unpacking skills. In addition, we demonstrate their biological inspiration by targeting few bacterial and fungal strains. The in vitro antimicrobial investigation reports that all the nanocomplexes disrupt microbial cell walls/membranes efficiently and inhibit the growth of microbes. These sorts of nanocomplexes synthesized in large quantities and at low cost, deliver versatile biomedical applications, and can be used to treat various diseases which may often cause high mortality.  相似文献

Patulin (PAT) and citrinin (CTN) are the most common mycotoxins produced by Penicillium and Aspergillus species and are often associated with fruits and fruit by-products. Hence, simple and reliable methods for monitoring these toxins in foodstuffs are required for regular quality assessment. In this study, we aimed to establish a cost-effective method for detection and quantification of PAT and CTN in pome fruits, such as apples and pears, using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) coupled with spectroscopic detectors without the need for any clean-up steps. The method showed good performance in the analysis of these mycotoxins in apple and pear fruit samples with recovery ranges of 55–97% for PAT and 84–101% for CTN, respectively. The limits of detection (LOD) of PAT and CTN in fruits were 0.006 µg/g and 0.001 µg/g, while their limits of quantification (LOQ) were 0.018 µg/g and 0.003 µg/g, respectively. The present findings indicate that the newly developed HPLC method provides rapid and accurate detection of PAT and CTN in fruits.  相似文献
