An extraproximal method for solving equilibrium programming problems in a Hilbert space

A regularized method of the proximal type for solving equilibrium problems in a Hilbert space is proposed. The method is combined with an approximation of the original problem. The convergence of the method is analyzed, and a regularizing operator is constructed.     

Solid State Conductivity and Catalytic Activity of Hexacyanoferrate(II)–Thiosemicarbazide Complexes of 3d-Metals

The temperature dependence of the resistivity of tablets of hexacyanoferrate(II)–thiosemicarbazide complexes of chromium(III), manganese(II), iron(III), cobalt(III), nickel(II), copper(II), and zinc(II) was measured in the range 20-90 °C. A relationship between the conductivity of a substance and the rate constant for the catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide is established.     

Gravity-induced motion of a uniformly heated solid particle in a gaseous medium

The steady motion of a uniformly heated spherical aerosol particle in a viscous gaseous medium is analyzed in the Stokes approximation under the condition that the mean temperature of the particle surface can be substantially different from the ambient temperature. An analytical expression for the drag force and the velocity of gravity-induced motion of the uniformly heated spherical solid particle is derived with allowance for temperature dependences of the gaseous medium density, viscosity, and thermal conductivity. On the force acting on a heated spherical drop moving in a gaseous medium

The flow around a heated spherical drop in a viscous non-isothermal gaseous medium with uniformly distributed constant-power heat sources (sinks) acting inside is theoretically described in the Stokes approximation. It is assumed that the mean temperature of the drop surface can differ substantially from the temperature of the ambient gaseous medium. An analytical expression for the drag force and drift velocity in the gravity field is derived by solving hydrodynamic equations with allowance for the temperature dependence of viscosity, thermal conductivity, and density of the gaseous medium.
