The absorption and fluorescence spectra of N-nonyl acridine orange are determined at room temperature (298 K) in cyclohexane, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, chlorobenzene and dichloromethane. The ground state of dipole moment was obtained by impedance measurements using Guggenheim-Debeye's method. The experimental excited state dipole moment of N-nonyl acridine orange was determined using Bakhshiev's and Kawski-Chamma-Viallet's formulae and solvent polarity parameter proposed by Reichardt. These experimental results were completed with theoretical results using quantum chemical methods. The experimental (muexp=10.76 D) and theoretical (mucal=9.9 D) dipole moments in the ground and excited state (muexp*=14.56 D) were compared. 相似文献

A new, highly sensitive, fast responding and stable potentiometric biosensor for creatinine determination is developed. The biosensor is based on an ammonium ion-selective electrode. Creatinine deiminase (EC 3.5.4.21) is chemically immobilized on the surface of the polymeric ion-sensitive membrane in the form of monomolecular layer using a simple, one-step carbodiimide covalent attachment method. The resulting enzyme electrodes are useful for measurement under flow injection analysis (FIA) conditions. The biosensors exhibit excellent operational and storage stability. The enzyme electrodes retain over 70% of initial sensitivity after ten weeks of work under FIA conditions. The storage stability at 4 °C is longer than half a year without loss of sensitivity. Under optimized conditions near 30 samples per hour can be analyzed and the determination range (0.02-20.0 mmol l−1) fully covers creatinine concentrations important from clinical and biomedical point of view. The simple biosensor/FIA system has been successfully used for determination of creatinine in urine, serum and posthemodialysate samples. 相似文献

We prove that certain two-point Padé approximants occupying the diagonal of the Padé table form monotone sequences of lower and upper bounds uniformly converging to a Stieltjes function. meso-Tetraphenylporphyrin (and its derivatives), in the reaction with fuming yellow nitric acid (d=1.53), form either 5-(4-nitroaryl)-10,15,20-triarylporphyrin, 5,10-bis(4-nitroaryl)-15,20-diarylporphyrin, or 5,10,15-tris(4-nitroaryl)-20-arylporphyrin, depending on the reaction temperature (0-20 °C), amounts of the acid used, and reaction time. The above nitroporphyrins react, in the presence of a base (t-BuOK) at 0 °C, with carbanions (which bear nucleophugal groups at the carbanionic center: −CH(Cl)SO2Tol, −CH(Br)SO2Tol, and −CH(Cl)SO2NMe2), leading to the nucleophilic substitution of hydrogen in one or more of the meso-nitroaryl rings. By this route, the preparation of the highly substituted ‘synthetic’ porphyrins (bearing up to ten O-, N-, Cl-, or C-substituents) was demonstrated. 相似文献

Unprotected 5-(4-nitrophenyl)-10,15,20-triphenylporphyrin and 5,10-bis(4-nitrophenyl)-15,20-diphenylporphyrin react in the presence of a base at low temperature with carbanions (which bear a leaving group X at the carbanionic center) affording vicarious nucleophilic substitution of hydrogen (VNS) products in good yields (50-89%). Small angle X-ray scattering and differential scanning calorimetry methods were employed to characterise the internal order of structural phases present in polyurethane coatings obtained as a result of water evaporation from anionomer dispersions. Those anionomers were produced in the reaction of aromatic, cycloaliphatic and aliphatic diisocyanates with polyoxyethylene glycol, 2,2-bis-(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid and 1,6-hexamethylenediamine. The decisive effects were found from ionic and polar structures within the rigid urethane and urea segments on the ordered arrangement degree of the supermolecular structures in the obtained anionomers. That becomes apparent in differential scanning calorimetry thermograms and contributes to improved thermal stability of the produced polyurethane coatings. 相似文献

A method is described to evaluate backbone interactions in proteins via computational unnatural amino acid mutagenesis. Several N-acetyl polyalanyl amides (AcA(n)NH(2)) were optimized in the representative helical (3(10)-, 4(13)-, and a "hybrid" kappa-helix, n = 7, 9, 10, 14) and hairpin (two- and three-stranded antiparallel beta-sheets with type I turns betaalphaalphaepsilon, n = 6, 9, 10) conformations, and extended conformers of N-acetyl polyalanyl methylamides (n = 2, 3) were used to derive multistranded beta-sheet fragments. Subsequently, each residue of every model structure was substituted, one at a time, with l-lactic acid. The resulting mutant structures were again optimized, and group-transfer energies DeltaE(GT) were obtained as heats of the isodesmic reactions: AcA(n)NHR + AcOMe --> AcA(x)LacA(y)NHR + AcNHMe (R = H, CH(3)). These group-transfer energies correlate with the degree of charge polarization of the substituted peptide linkages as measured by the difference Deltae in H and O Mulliken populations in HN-C=O and with the H-bond distances in the "wild-type" structures. A good correlation obtains for the HF/3-21G and B3LYP/6-31G* group-transfer energies. The destabilization effects are interpreted in terms of loss of interstrand and intrastrand H-bonds, decrease in Lewis basicity of the C=O group, and O...O repulsion. On the basis of several comparisons of Ala --> Lac DeltaE(GT)'s with heats of the NH --> CH(2) substitutions, the latter contribution is estimated (B3LYP/6-31G*) to range between 1.5 and 2.4 kcal mol(-1), a figure close to the recent experimental DeltaDeltaG(o) value of 2.6 kcal mol(-1) (McComas, C. C.; Crowley, B. M.; Boger, D. L. J. Am.Chem. Soc. 2003, 125, 9314). The partitioning yields the following maximum values of the electronic association energy of H-bonds in the examined sample of model structures (B3LYP/6-31G* estimates): 3(10)-helix D(e) = -1.7 kcal mol(-1), alpha-helix D(e) = -3.8 kcal mol(-1), beta-sheet D(e) = -6.1 kcal mol(-1). The premise of experimental evaluations of the backbone-backbone H-bonding that Ala --> Lac substitution in proteins is isosteric (e.g., Koh, J. T.; Cornish, V. W.; Schultz, P. G. Biochemistry 1997, 36, 11314) is often but not always corroborated. Examination of the integrity of H-bonding pattern and phi(i), psi(i) distribution identified several mutants with significant distortions of the "wild-type" structure resulting inter alia from the transitions between i, i + 3 and i, i + 4 H-bonding in helices, observed previously in the crystallographic studies of depsipeptides (Ohyama, T.; Oku, H.; Hiroki, A.; Maekawa, Y.; Yoshida, M.; Katakai, R. Biopolymers 2000, 54, 375; Karle, I. L.; Das, C.; Balaram, P. Biopolymers 2001, 59, 276). Thus, the isodesmic reaction approach provides a simple way to gauge how conformation of the polypeptide chain and dimensions of the H-bonding network affect the strength of backbone-backbone C=O...HN bonds. The results indicate that the stabilization provided by such interactions increases on going from 3(10)-helix to alpha-helix to beta-sheet. 相似文献

A series of homoleptic complexes of hexacoordinate cobalt(II) and copper(II) complexes with 3,5-disubstituted homo- and heteroscorpionate tris(pyrazolyl)borate anionic ligands (Tp′) were synthesized, i.e. bis[hydrotris(3-phenyl,5-methylpyrazol-1-yl)borato]cobalt(II), bis[hydrobis(3-phenyl,5-methylpyrazol-1-yl)(3-methyl,5-phenylpyrazol-1-yl)borato]cobalt(II) and bis[hydrobis(3-phenyl,5-methylpyrazol-1-yl)(3-methyl,5-phenylpyrazol-1-yl)borato]copper(II) and their structures were elucidated crystallographically. The complexes were also formed spontaneously during attempted metathesis of the corresponding Tp′M(NCS) complexes into Tp′M(OOCCH(OH)CH3) complexes. In the case of the analogous conversion applied for the thiocyanato [hydrobis(3-phenyl,5-methylpyrazol-1-yl)(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)boratocobalt(II) complex with sodium carboxylates (lactate, pyruvate and 2-hydroxybutyrate), the cross-transfer of pyrazolyl residues between starting anionic ligands was observed resulting in formation of bis-ligand homo- and heteroleptic Tp′CoTp″ complexes, where Tp′, Tp″ were tris(pyrazolyl)borates composed of n 3(5)-phenyl,5(3)-methylpyrazolyl and (3−n) 3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl residues (n=0–3) identified by mass spectrometry. Metathesis of thiocyanate in thiocyanato hydrotris(3-phenyl,5-methylpyrazol-1-yl)boratocobalt(II) into pyruvate led to the isolation of stable the pyruvato hydrotris(3-phenyl,5-methylpyrazol-1-yl)boratocobalt(II) complex, the structure of which was determined crystallographically. The Tp′ ligands are η3 coordinated to metal ions in every case, whereas the pyruvate anion is coordinated through carboxylate and carbonyl oxygen atoms to the cobalt center. Two rotational isomers distinguishable by 1H NMR spectroscopy for the hexacoordinate bis[hydrobis(3-phenyl,5-methylpyrazol-1-yl)(3-methyl,5-phenylpyrazol-1-yl)borato]cobalt(II) complex were detected in solution. 相似文献
