We consider a quark model based on QCD scale anomaly in which the quarks move in the field of an effective glueball field.
Hadrons correspond to solitonic bags of higher energy density in a nonperturbative sea of condensed gluons. We calculate the
static properties of nucleon in this model and find that the nucleon mass is far too large (2.4–4 GeV) and the proton charge
radius (0.37–0.54 fm) is low. The proton gyromagnetic ratio and gA/gv are in reasonable agreement with the experimental numbers. 相似文献

Three‐component photoinitiators comprised of an N‐arylphthalimide, a diarylketone, and a tertiary amine were investigated for their initiation efficiency of acrylate polymerization. The use of an electron‐deficient N‐arylphthalimide resulted in a greater acrylate polymerization rate than an electron‐rich N‐arylphthalimide. Triplet energies of each N‐arylphthalimide, determined from their phosphorescence spectra, and the respective rate constants for triplet quenching by the N‐arylphthalimide derivatives (acquired via laser flash photolysis) indicated that an electron–proton transfer from an intermediate radical species to the N‐arylphthalimide (not energy transfer from triplet sensitization) is responsible for generating the initiating radicals under the conditions and species concentrations used for polymerization. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Prior studies have shown that inventories in a one vendor, multi-buyer supply chain with deterministic demands can be coordinated effectively through the use of common replenishment epochs (CRE). In this paper, we study the impact of demand uncertainty on the effectiveness of coordinating such a supply chain. We develop a model to analyse the coordination mechanism using CRE in a one-vendor, multi-buyer supply chain, when the demand faced by the buyers is stochastic. Our numerical study based on the model found that coordination through CRE may not always be beneficial when the demand variance is high. We also investigate a strategy of advance order processing by the vendor to improve the effectiveness of coordination through CRE. 相似文献

The effect of60Co -radiation on La2CuO4 solid catalyst prepared by the ceramic method has been studied. Gamma irradiation of La2CuO4 samples has been found to increase the Cu+ content, electrical conductivities and decrease the magnetic susceptibilities of the catalyst. Delayed feedbacks are quite common in many physical and biological systems and in particular many physiological systems. Delay
can cause a stable system to become unstable and vice versa. One of the well-studied non-biological chemical oscillators is
the Belousov-Zhabotinskii (BZ) reaction. This gives relaxation oscillations for a considerable period of time under batch
conditions. This paper deals with the effect of perturbing the limit cycle oscillation of BZ reaction by employing a delayed
electrical feedback to the system under batch conditions. The parameters chosen to study are external resistance and delay.
For various resistances and delays the system was electrically perturbed and found to exhibit various complex mixed mode oscillations.
The dynamic features are accounted for by the Oregonator model, with time delay incorporated in one of the variables.

Conformations of trimethoxymethylsilane were studied using matrix isolation infrared spectroscopy and ab initio computations. Trimethoxymethylsilane was trapped in both argon and nitrogen matrixes using heated nozzle effusive sources and a supersonic jet source, in an effort to alter the conformational population in the matrix. Ab initio calculations were carried out at the HF and B3LYP level using 6-31++G basis set to support our experimental observations. The frequencies computed at the B3LYP level was found to fit well with our experimental data. A conformer with a C1(g(+/-)g(+/-)t) structure was predicted by our computations to be the ground state conformer. 相似文献

The reaction of MoO3 with various oxides of manganese (MnO, Mn2O3, Mn3O4 and MnO2) and with MnCO3 has been studied in air and nitrogen atmospheres employing DTA, TG and X-ray diffraction methods, with a view to elucidating the conditions for the formation of MnMoO4. Thermal decomposition of MnCO3 has also been studied in air and nitrogen atmospheres to help understand the mechanism of the reaction between MnCO3 and MoO3. The studies reveal that, whereas MnO, Mn2O3 and MnO2 react smoothly with MoO3 to form MnMoO4, Mn3O4 does not react with MoO3 in the temperature range investigated (48O–6OO°C). An equimolar mixture of MnCO3 and MoO3 reacts in air to yield MnMoO4, while only a mixture of Mn3O4 and MoO3 remains as final product when the same reaction is carried out in nitrogen. Marker studies reveal that manganese ions are the main diffusing species in the reaction between MoO3 and manganese oxides that result in MnMoO4. 相似文献
