Microfluidic system, or lab-on-a-chip, has grown explosively. This system has been used in research for the first time and then entered in the clinical section. Due to economic reasons, this technique has been used for screening of laboratory and clinical indices. The microfluidic system solves some difficulties accompanied by clinical and biological applications. In this review, the interpretation and analysis of some recent developments in microfluidic systems in biomedical applications with more emphasis on tissue engineering and cancer will be discussed. We report the synthesis of iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles (IONPs) coated with various natural amino acids (AAs) using a one‐pot reaction in an aqueous medium. Several AAs, which contained hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups, were selected to study their effects on size, morphology and toxicity of IONPs. Functionalized IONPs were characterized using X‐ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and scanning and transmission electron microscopies. Furthermore, vibrating sample magnetometry analysis shows these nanoparticles have excellent magnetic properties. Cellular toxicity of IONPs was also investigated on HFF2 cell lines. The AA‐coated IONPs are non‐toxic and biocompatible. Natural AA‐coated IONPs show a potential for their development in in vitro and in vivo biomedical fields due to their non‐toxicity, good ζ‐potential and related small size and narrow size distribution. 相似文献

3-Aminopropylated silica gel, which is prepared from commercially available and cheap starting materials, is introduced as an efficient and recyclable catalyst for the phospha-Michael addition of phosphorus nucleophiles to α,β-unsaturated malonates. Short reaction times, mild reaction conditions, ease of recovery and catalyst reusability make this method a new, economic and waste-free chemical process for the synthesis of β-phosphonomalonates. 相似文献

In this project, Ni(II) ion stabilized on zeolite-Y (NNZ) was developed as a high efficient nanoporous catalyst for the synthesis of 3-benzimidazolyl-1,3–thiazolidin-4-one derivatives via condensation of 2-aminobenzimidazole, aromatic aldehydes and thioglycolic acid in ethanol under ambient conditions. Compared with conventional protocols, this methodology has promising features such as the use of inexpensive, stable, recyclable and safe catalyst, shorter reaction times and higher yields, nontoxic solvent and easy isolation of the products. 相似文献

The aim of this paper is to survey interlaboratory studies of performance data to produce highly permeable thin‐film composite (TFC) polyamide nanofiltration (NF) membrane in the form of flat sheet at bench scale. TFC polyamide NF membranes were fabricated via interfacial polymerization of 1,3‐phenylenediamine and trimesoyl chloride on porous polyethersulfone (PES) membrane. The NF membranes were characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and cross‐flow filtration. The AFM and SEM analyses indicated that a rough and dense film was formed on the PES support membrane. The permeability and NaCl rejection of the NF membrane prepared at the presence of camphor sulfonic acid as pH regulator and triethylamine as accelerator in the aqueous solution were 21 l m?2 h?1 and 70%, respectively. In order to estimate the repeatability and reproducibility standard deviations, the development of an interlaboratory study was conducted by measurements of permeation flux and salt rejection of the synthesized membranes. Repeatability standard deviation of the permeation flux data for the membrane based on optimum formulation was 1.99, and reproducibility standard deviation was 3.55. Also based on this trend, repeatability standard deviation of the salt rejection data was 1.57, and reproducibility standard deviation was 4.11. The American Society for Testing and Materials standard E691‐05 was used for data validation of the repeatability and reproducibility standard deviations and consistency statistics. A new, convenient and high yielding procedure for the preparation of bis(indolyl)methanes in water by electrophilic substitution reaction of indoles with different carbonyl compounds in the presence of a catalytic amount of [Cu(3,4-tmtppa)](MeSO4)4 (1 mol%) as a highly stable and reusable catalyst is described. This procedure has also been applied successfully for the preparation of bis(pyrazole-5-ols) and dipyrromethanes. 相似文献

A series of new derivatives of 3-benzimidazolyl-2-aryl thiazolidinones, 4a–j are synthesized via a rapid, one-pot, three-component reaction by using La(NO3)3·6H2O as an efficient catalyst from the reaction of 2-aminobenzimidazole, aromatic aldehydes and thioglycolic acid in ethanol at room temperature. These new compounds were characterized by IR, 1H, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopies. An inexpensive and available catalyst, short reaction time, easy workup, good to excellent yields and nontoxic solvent are the advantages of this reaction. 相似文献
