The aggregation and cloud point behavior of Tb(III)-doped silica nanoparticles has been studied in Triton X-100 (TX-100) solutions at various concentration conditions by fluorimetry, dynamic light scattering, electrophoresis and transmission electron microscopy methods. The temperature responsive behavior of nanoparticles is observed at definite concentration of TX-100, where the aggregation of TX-100 at the silica/water interface is evident from the increased size of the silica nanoparticles. The reversible dehydration of TX-100 aggregates at the silica/water interface should be assumed as the main reason of the temperature induced phase separation of silica nanoparticles. The distribution of nanoparticles between aqueous and surfactant rich phases at the phase separation conditions can be modified by the effect of additives.  相似文献

Fe@Au and Ni@Au core–shell nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized by liquid-phase reduction of iron and nickel compounds by sodium borohydride in an aqueous medium. The present work introduces the interaction of hard and soft colloids in aqueous solutions at various temperatures and concentrations, as well as at critical conditions of temperature induced phase separation. Hard and soft colloids are represented by luminescent silica nanoparticles and aggregates of PEO-PPO-PEO and PPO-PEO-PPO triblock copolymers correspondingly. The formation of the mixed aggregates between hard and soft colloids in equilibrium conditions has been revealed by dynamic light scattering measurements. The distribution of silica nanoparticles between aqueous and surfactant rich phases after phase separation highlights the effect of pH, architecture and concentration of triblock copolymers on the mixed hard-soft colloids aggregation at cloud point conditions. The peculiar aggregation and phase behavior of PPO-PEO-PPO pluronics should be assumed as the main reason of the enhanced mixed aggregation with SNs at increased temperatures and concentrated conditions.  相似文献

Amphiphilic low-molecular-weight chitosan N-acylated with 3-hydroxytetradecanoic acid was synthesized. It was shown that addition of the acylated chitosan changes the surface potential and size of negatively charged liposomal particles, the magnitudes of which depend on the chitosan concentration. Charge neutralization and aggregation of the liposomes occurs at low chitosan concentration. Increasing its concentration produces positive charge on the surface of the liposomes and decreases their size. This increases the stability of the liposomal particles in solution. Liposomes coated with chitosan may be of interest as carriers for genes, vaccines, and drugs.  相似文献

Chronic pain syndromes are an important medical problem generated by various molecular, genetic, and pathophysiologic mechanisms. Back pain, neuropathic pain, and posttraumatic pain are the most important pathological processes associated with chronic pain in adults. Standard approaches to the treatment of them do not solve the problem of pain chronicity. This is the reason for the search for new personalized strategies for the prevention and treatment of chronic pain. The nitric oxide (NO) system can play one of the key roles in the development of peripheral pain and its chronicity. The purpose of the study is to review publications devoted to changes in the NO system in patients with peripheral chronical pain syndromes. We have carried out a search for the articles published in e-Library, PubMed, Oxford Press, Clinical Case, Springer, Elsevier, and Google Scholar databases. The search was carried out using keywords and their combinations. The role of NO and NO synthases (NOS) isoforms in peripheral pain development and chronicity was demonstrated primarily from animal models to humans. The most studied is the neuronal NOS (nNOS). The role of inducible NOS (iNOS) and endothelial NOS (eNOS) is still under investigation. Associative genetic studies have shown that single nucleotide variants (SNVs) of NOS1, NOS2, and NOS3 genes encoding nNOS, iNOS, and eNOS may be associated with acute and chronic peripheral pain. Prospects for the use of NOS inhibitors to modulate the effect of drugs used to treat peripheral pain syndrome are discussed. Associative genetic studies of SNVs NOS1, NOS2, and NOS3 genes are important for understanding genetic predictors of peripheral pain chronicity and development of new personalized pharmacotherapy strategies.  相似文献

The proteins of extracellular vesicles (EVs) that originate from tumors reflect the producer cells’ proteomes and can be detected in biological fluids. Thus, EVs provide proteomic signatures that are of great interest for screening and predictive cancer diagnostics. By applying targeted mass spectrometry with stable isotope-labeled peptide standards, we assessed the levels of 28 EV-associated proteins, including the conventional exosome markers CD9, CD63, CD81, CD82, and HSPA8, in vesicles derived from the lung cancer cell lines NCI-H23 and A549. Furthermore, we evaluated the detectability of these proteins and their abundance in plasma samples from 34 lung cancer patients and 23 healthy volunteers. The abundance of TLN1, TUBA4A, HSPA8, ITGB3, TSG101, and PACSIN2 in the plasma of lung cancer patients was measured using targeted mass spectrometry and compared to that in plasma from healthy volunteers. The most diagnostically potent markers were TLN1 (AUC, 0.95), TUBA4A (AUC, 0.91), and HSPA8 (AUC, 0.88). The obtained EV proteomic signature allowed us to distinguish between the lung adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma histological types. The proteomic cargo of the extracellular vesicles represents a promising source of potential biomarkers.  相似文献
