The paper describes the synthesis and structural characterization of six new diorganotin(IV) compounds 1–6, [R2SnL] and a monoorganotin(IV) derivative, C4H9SnClL (7). Here L = N′-(5-bromo-2-oxidobenzylidene)-N-(oxidomethylene)hydrazine ligand with ONO tridentate chelation capability and R = CH3 (1), C2H5 (2), n-C4H9 (3), C6H5 (4), C8H17 (5), tert-C4H9 (6), The packing diagram offers a supramolecular structure for 1 and a dimeric structure for 4 with distorted square-pyramidal and distorted trigonal geometry, respectively. The different geometry of 1 than 4 can be attributed to the presence of intermolecular non-covalent Sn---O and Sn---H interactions in the former. The antifungal, antibacterial, antiurease and antileishmanial activities of these complexes proved them to be active biologically and may be formulated as new metal-based drugs in future.  相似文献

A new trihydroxy sesquiterpene, rel‐(1R,4aR,5S,6S,7S,8aR)‐decahydro‐6,8a‐dimethyl‐5‐(propan‐2‐yl)naphthalene‐1,6,7‐triol ( 1 ), has been isolated as a result of the phytochemical investigation on the CH2Cl2 extract of Teucrium mascatense. The structure elucidation of the new constituent was carried out by the combined use of 1D‐ (1H‐ and 13C‐NMR) and 2D‐NMR (HMBC and HSQC) spectroscopic analysis, along with mass spectrometric techniques. In addition to the new constituent 1 , the known metabolite 2 , previously isolated from Crataegus pinnatifida, was also identified.  相似文献

Abstract

Di-n-butyl- (1) and diethyltin(IV) (2) derivatives of 3-methylphenylethanoic acid were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, atomic absorption, IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The spectroscopic data and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies for complex 2 have confirmed a bidentate coordination mode of the carboxylate ligand and the presence of hexacoordinated tin atoms in the complexes. The complexes were screened for their in vitro antibacterial activity against selected gram positive and gram negative bacterial strains. The anticancer potential was assessed against prostate cancer cell lines. Both complexes have shown higher activities than the ligand acid. Complex 1 with an IC50 value of 4.97?±?0.27?μg/mL was found to be better anti prostate cancer agent than complex 2 (IC50 = 11.26?±?2.18?μg/mL). Molecular docking study has suggested antibacterial action of the complexes in terms of their ability to develop hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions with vital residues of the target proteins like tyrosyl-tRNA synthase from Staphylococcus aureus (gram-positive bacteria) and undecaprenyl diphosphate synthase from Escherichia coli (gram-negative bacteria).  相似文献

Six new homobimetallic bis-diorganotin(IV) complexes: [Me2Sn]2L (1), [Et2Sn]2L (2), [n-Bu2Sn]2L (3), [Ph2Sn]2L (4), [Oct2Sn]2L (5) and [n-BuClSn]2L (6) (H 4 L=N1′, N6′-bis(2-hydroxybenzylidene)adipodihydrazide) have been synthesized and structurally characterized by means of elemental analysis, mass spectroscopy, FT-IR, NMR (1H, 13C{1H}, 119Sn) and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Spectroscopic studies indicate coordination of the ligand to the diorganotin(IV) moieties via iminolic oxygen, nitrogen and phenolic oxygen atoms generating pentacoordinated tin centers. Single-crystal X-ray analysis of (1) revealed homobimetallic nature of complex with dimethyltin moieties oriented in trans-conformation. The ligand is non-planar with each Sn atom in a distorted square pyramidal coordination geometry. Packing diagrams suggest the essential role of C–HN and C–HO interactions in generating supramolecular assembly. The ligand and complexes were screened for in vitro antimicrobial activity and cytotoxicity. Compound (4) exhibits highest cytotoxicity.  相似文献
