Water-soluble amphiphilic polymers based on N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (Amph-PVP) have been synthesized. Amphiphilic diblock polymers have been obtained via a single-step technique. For the synthesized amphiphilic polymers, the critical concentrations of mycelium formation (CCM) have been determined. The structure of the polymers obtained was confirmed by IR and NMR spectroscopy. The critical concentration of micelle formation (CCM) for the synthesized polymers has been found to be in the micromolar range. The fluorescent dye 1,1′-dioctadecyl-3,3,3′,3′-tetramethylindocarbocyanine perchlorate (Dil) was chosen as a model substance for the synthesis of nanoparticles. Micellar particles were obtained via an ultrasonic technique followed by evaporation of the organic solvent (emulsion method).  相似文献

A comparative investigation of the surface structure of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene film filaments obtained with different draw ratios from xerogels prepared from 1.5 wt % polymer solutions in decaline and mineral oil has been performed using a SUPRA-55V scanning electron microscope and a nanoluminograph for recording thermoluminescence of ultrathin near-surface layers of solids. It has been found that, with an increase in the draw ratio, the luminescence intensity decreases, and the peaks responsible for the segmental mobility are shifted toward higher temperatures. It has been assumed that this is associated with the improvement of the structure of near-surface layers of the polymer (with a decrease in the number of microcavities and segments of molecules with a high degree of coiling). It has also been revealed that the peaks observed in glow curves of the oriented gel samples from polymer solutions in decaline are shifted more significantly than those of the gel samples from polymer solutions in mineral oil, and the extremely oriented films are characterized by a large discretization of kinetic units of motion.  相似文献

The method of density matching between the solid and liquid phases is often adopted to effectively eliminate the effect of sedimentation of suspensions in studies on dynamic behaviour of a colloidal system. However, the associated changes in the solvent composition may bring side effects to the properties investigated and therefore might lead to a faulty conclusion if the relevant correction is not made. To illustrate the importance of this side effect, we present an example of the sedimentation influence on the coagulation rate of suspensions of 2μm (diameter) polystyrene. The liquid mixtures, in the proper proportions of water (H2O), deuterium oxide (D2O) and methanol (MeOH) as the liquid phase, density-matched and unmatched experiments are performed. Besides the influence of viscosity, the presence of methanol in solvent media, used to enhance the sedimentation effect, causes significant changes (reduction) in rapid coagulation rates compared to that in pure water. Without the relevant corrections for those non-gravitational factors it seems that gravitational sedimentation would retard the coagulation. The magnitude of the contribution from the non-gravitational factor is quantitatively determined, making the relevant correction possible. After necessary the influence of the sedimentation on coagulation rates at corrections for all factors, our experiments show that the initial stage of the coagulation is not observable.  相似文献
