To mitigate CO2 discharged from thermal power plants, studies on CO2 fixation by the photosynthesis of microalgae using actual exhaust gas have been carried out. The results are as follows.
1.  A method is proposed for evaluating the maximum photosynthesis rate in the raceway cultivator using only the algal physical properties;
2.  Outdoor cultivation tests taking actual flue gas were performed with no trouble or break throughout 1 yr using the strain collected in the test;
3.  The produced microalgae is effective as solid fuel; and
4.  The feasibility studies of this system were performed. The system required large land area, but the area is smaller than that required for other biomass systems, such as tree farms.

The determination of organotin compounds in water using gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS-MS) is described. Several organotin derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of organotin chlorides with Grignard reagents such as methyl-, propyl- and pentylmagnesium halides. After the optimization of the GC-MS-MS conditions, several derivatizations with the Grignard reagents were compared by evaluating the molar responses and volatilities of the derivatives and derivatization yields. As a result, the derivatizing reagent of choice is pentylmagnesium bromide. Calibration curves for the mono-, di- and tributyltins and mono-, di- and triphenyltins with pentylmagnesium bromide were linear in the range of 0.5-100 pg of Sn. The instrumental detection limits of six organotins ranged from 0.20 to 0.35 pg of Sn. The recovery tests from water samples (500 ml) were performed by using sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) as a complexing reagent. Except for monophenyltin, the absolute recoveries of organotins from pure water at 200 ng of Sn/l were satisfactory. The recoveries calibrated by surrogate compounds (perdeuterated organotin chlorides) ranged from 71 to 109%. The method detection limits ranged from 0.26 to 0.84 pg of Sn (500-ml sample). This method was applied to the recovery of organotins from river water and seawater. The calibrated recoveries were between 90 and 122%.  相似文献

Selenobenzophenone reacts as a diene with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate (DMAD) to lead to dimethyl 1H-1-diphenylmethyl-1-phenyl-2-benzoselenopyran-3,4-dicarboxylate (5c) in moderate yield; the initial [4 + 2] cycloaddition is followed by the addition of another 1 mol equiv of selenobenzophenone. The reaction might proceed through carbene insertion of the primary cycloadduct. On the other hand, 4,4'-dimethoxyselenobenzophenone combines as a diene with DMAD furnishing dimethyl 1H-1-p-methoxyphenyl-6-methoxy-2-benzoselenopyran-3,4-dicarboxylate (4a). The reaction of benzoselenopyran derivative (4) with diaryldiazomethanes afforded another type of carbene insertion product.  相似文献

Derivatization of tributyltin for tandem mass spectrometry is described. Tributyltin (TBT) and triphenyltin (TPT) were derivatized with sodium tetrakis(4-fluorophenyl)borate. After optimization of their MS/MS conditions, derivatization conditions were examined. Under the optimum conditions using in-situ derivatization, the calibration curves for the TBT and TPT were linear in the ranges of 0.4 - 200 and 1.2 - 200 pg of Sn, respectively. The detection limits for TBT and TPT were 0.07 and 0.43 pg of Sn, respectively. In the case of TBT, the detection limit with 4-fluorophenylation was improved about five times compared with that with pentylation (0.35 pg). This improvement is ascribed to the bond-dissociation energy of Sn-aryl being stronger than that of Sn-alkyl. Namely, the selective fragmentation of 4-fluorophenyl TBT resulted in high sensitivity. The relative recoveries of TBT and TPT from seawater were 99 and 109%, respectively. The method was successfully applied to the seawater samples.  相似文献

Treatment of di-tert-butylthioketene S-oxide (5 a) with Lawesson reagent at room temperature resulted in the formation of 3,3-di-tert-butylthiirane-2-thione (4 a) in high yield. The oxidation of 4 a with mCPBA (mCPBA=m-chloroperbenzioc acid) gave 3,3-di-tert-butylthiirane-2-thione S-oxide (6) almost quantitatively. The reactions of 4 a with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate (DMAD) and benzyne afforded dimethyl 2-(2,2,4,4-tetramethylpentan-3-ylidene)-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dicarboxylate (13) and 2-(2,2,4,4-tetramethylpentan-3-ylidene)benzo[d][1,3]dithiole (15), respectively, in high yields, suggesting that 4 a is an excellent 1,3-dipole. The reaction of 4 a with ethylenebis(triphenylphosphine)platinum (16) gave dithiolato-platinum complex (22) in high yield. The structure of 22 was determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis.  相似文献

The reaction of dimethyl(methylthio)sulfonium trifluoromethanesulfonate (DMTST) with o-allylphenol gave 2-methylthiomethyl-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran in 97% yield. The reaction of DMTST with N-tosyl-o-isopropenylanilide followed by the addition of aq sodium carbonate afforded N-tosyl-3-methylindole in 88% yield, whereas N-tosyl-o-vinylanilide afforded N-tosylindoline in 85% yield.  相似文献

Growth and lipid production of microalgae were investigated, with attention to the feasibility of making use of flue gas CO2 as a carbon source. The effect of a high CO2 level in artificial seawater differed from strain to strain. Three algal strains from the Solar Energy Research Institute (Golden, CO) collection were selected as good fixers of CO2 when the level of CO2 in the sparging gas was high. These algae also accumulated large amounts of crude lipids. SOX and NOX inhibited algal growth, but a green alga,Nannochloris sp. NANNO2 grew after a lag period, even when it received NO gas at the concentration of 300 ppm.  相似文献

The reaction of methylviologen (MV2+) with tributylphosphine ( 1p ) and diethylphenylphosphine ( 1q ) in the presence of an alkyl-substituted pyridine ( 2 ) was found to take place through a single-electron transfer (SET) from 1 to MV2+ followed by nucleophilic attack by 2 on the resulting phosphine radical cation 1 •+. Kinetic examination showed that, in the transition state for the reaction of 1 •+ with 2 , an unpaired electron is largely delocalized to the pyridine moiety. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
