Using the rigid norbornane scaffold, a series of low-molecular-weight organogelators has been synthesised and evaluated. Three separate compounds (16, 19 and 20) were identified as organogelators in three aromatic organic solvents (PhMe, anisole and o-xylene). The formation of fibrillar assemblies at nanometre level was confirmed using atomic force microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.  相似文献

The chemical behavior and some physical properties (dipole moment, IR. vs. Raman spectra) of the titled compound are not fully consistent with a strictly centrosymmetric structure which might be expected for the anti configuration. LC-ion trap mass spectrometry was used to screen and confirm 38 compounds from a variety of drug classes in four species of fish: trout, salmon, catfish, and tilapia. Samples were extracted with acetonitrile and hexane. The acetonitrile phase was evaporated, redissolved in water and acetonitrile, and analyzed by gradient chromatography on a phenyl column. MS2 or MS3 spectra were monitored for each compound. Qualitative method performance was evaluated by the analysis over several days of replicate samples of control fish, fish fortified with a drug mixture at 1 ppm, 0.1 ppm and 0.01 ppm, and fish dosed with a representative from each drug class. Half of the 38 drugs were confirmed at 0.01 ppm, the lowest fortification level. This included all of the quinolones and fluoroquinolones, the macrolides, malachite green, and most of the imidazoles. Florfenicol amine, metronidazole, sulfonamides, tetracyclines, and most of the betalactams were confirmed at 0.1 ppm. Ivermectin and penicillin G were only detectable in the 1 ppm fortified samples. With the exception of amoxicillin, emamectin, metronidazole, and tylosin, residue presence was confirmed in all the dosed fish.  相似文献

A solvothermal method has been used to prepare hybrid inorganic–organic composites with a lamellar structure in which layers of wurtzite ZnS are separated by intercalated diamine molecules. A hybrid composite prepared with diethylenetriamine has been isolated and characterised and its structure and properties compared with those of the composite prepared using ethylenediamine. Comparative structural and morphological studies of the two lamellar hybrid composites are described on the basis of powder XRD, electron and scanning probe microscopies and thermal analysis of the materials.  相似文献

The sizes of available self-assembled hydrogen-bond-based supramolecular capsules and cages are rather limited. The largest systems have volumes of approximately 1400–2300 Å3. Herein, we report a large, hexameric cage based on intermolecular amide–amide dimerization. The unusual structure with openings, reminiscent of covalently linked cages, is held together by 24 hydrogen bonds. With a diameter of 2.3 nm and a cavity volume of ∼2800 Å3, the assembly is larger than any previously known capsule/cage structure relying exclusively on hydrogen bonds. The self-assembly process in chlorinated, organic solvents was found to be strongly concentration dependent, with the monomeric form prevailing at low concentrations. Additionally, the formation of host–guest complexes with fullerenes (C60 and C70) was observed.  相似文献

The difference in level required to match monaural and binaural loudness of 5- and 200-ms tones was measured for listeners with normal and impaired hearing. Stimuli were 1-kHz tones presented at levels ranging from 10 to 90 dB sensation level. Sixteen listeners (eight normal and eight with losses of primarily cochlear origin) made loudness matches between equal-duration monaural and binaural tones using an adaptive 2AFC procedure. The present results corroborate existing data for 200-ms tones in normal listeners and provide new data for 5-ms tones. On average, the binaural level difference required for equal loudness of monaural and binaural tones is about the same for 5- and 200-ms tones of equal level and changes as a function of level. The group data for normal and impaired listeners are in reasonable agreement with data in the literature. However, the data from some of the impaired listeners deviate markedly from the average, indicating that group data do not accurately represent the behavior of all impaired listeners. Derived loudness functions from the loudness-matching data are reasonably consistent with individual data in the literature.  相似文献

Spatially localized femtosecond pulses have been produced by a combination of scanning near-field optical microscopy with ultrashort pulse lasers. With these pulses direct ablative writing on metal surfaces is demonstrated. Possible applications of this technique for nanostructuring, repair, and production of lithographic masks are discussed.  相似文献

In vitro studies can help reveal the biochemical pathways underlying the origin of volatile indicators of numerous diseases. The key objective of this study is to identify the potential biomarkers of gastric cancer. For this purpose, the volatilomic signatures of two human gastric cancer cell lines, AGS (human gastric adenocarcinoma) and SNU-1 (human gastric carcinoma), and one normal gastric mucosa cell line (GES-1) were investigated. More specifically, gas chromatography mass spectrometry has been applied to pinpoint changes in cell metabolism triggered by cancer. In total, ten volatiles were found to be metabolized, and thirty-five were produced by cells under study. The volatiles consumed were mainly six aldehydes and two heterocyclics, whereas the volatiles released embraced twelve ketones, eight alcohols, six hydrocarbons, three esters, three ethers, and three aromatic compounds. The SNU-1 cell line was found to have significantly altered metabolism in comparison to normal GES-1 cells. This was manifested by the decreased production of alcohols and ketones and the upregulated emission of esters. The AGS cells exhibited the increased production of methyl ketones containing an odd number of carbons, namely 2-tridecanone, 2-pentadecanone, and 2-heptadecanone. This study provides evidence that the cancer state modifies the volatilome of human cells.  相似文献
