A Recursive Probability Tree (RPT) is a data structure for representing the potentials involved in Probabilistic Graphical Models (PGMs). This structure is developed with the aim of capturing some types of independencies that cannot be represented with previous structures. This capability leads to improvements in memory space and computation time during inference. This paper describes a learning algorithm for building RPTs from probability distributions. The experimental analysis shows the proper behavior of the algorithm: it produces RPTs encoding good approximations of the original probability distributions.  相似文献

An electrochemical immunosensor for ghrelin (GHRL) determination in saliva is reported. Anti‐GHRL was immobilized onto Protein G‐magnetic beads and a competitive immunoassay involving biotinylated GHRL and alkaline phosphatase‐streptavidin was implemented. Once conjugate was magnetically captured on a screen‐printed carbon electrode, GHRL quantization was accomplished by DPV of 1‐naphtol formed upon addition of 1‐naphtyl phosphate. A linear range between 10?3 and 103 ng/mL GHRL, and a LOD of 7 pg/mL, much smaller than those from commercial ELISA kits, were found. The usefulness of the immunosensor was demonstrated by analyzing human saliva spiked with GHRL at 0.01, 0.1, 1 and 10 ng/mL.  相似文献

Bis(pyridinium) iodonium(I) tetrafluoroborate (IPy2BF4), a solid and stable reagent, can be used to transform n-pentenyl orthoesters (NPOEs) and n-pentenyl glycosides (NPGs) into glycosyl fluorides. The latter pair constitutes a new set of semiorthogonal glycosyl donors that can be used in glycosylation strategies, alone or in combination with NPOEs.  相似文献

The combination of bis(pyridinium)iodonium (I) tetrafluoroborate (IPy2BF4), and hydrogen fluoride pyridine (HF-py) forms an iodine monofluoride (IF) synthetic equivalent that can be used in the preparation of partially unprotected glycosyl fluorides from partially unprotected n-pentenyl glycosides and thioglycosides, thus avoiding the need for the protection/deprotection steps normally required in that transformation.  相似文献

This paper distinguishes between objective probability—or chance—and subjective probability. Most statistical methods in machine learning are based on the hypothesis that there is a random experiment from which we get a set of observations. This random experiment could be identified with a chance or objective probability, but these probabilities depend on some unknown parameters. Our knowledge of these parameters is not objective and in order to learn about them, we must assess some epistemic probabilities about their values. In some cases, our objective knowledge about these parameters is vacuous, so the question is: What epistemic probabilities should be assumed? In this paper we argue for the assumption of non-vacuous (a proper subset of [0, 1]) interval probabilities. There are several reasons for this; some are based on the betting interpretation of epistemic probabilities while others are based on the learning capabilities under the vacuous representation. The implications of the selection of epistemic probabilities in different concepts as conditioning and learning are studied. It is shown that in order to maintain some reasonable learning capabilities we have to assume more informative prior models than those frequently used in the literature, such as the imprecise Dirichlet model.  相似文献

A novel electrochemical biosensor design for glucosinolate determination involving bulk‐incorporation of the enzymes glucose oxidase and myrosinase into a colloidal gold ‐ multiwalled carbon nanotubes composite electrode using Teflon as binder is reported. Myrosinase catalyzes the hydrolysis of glucosinolate forming glucose, which is enzymatically oxidized. The generated hydrogen peroxide was electrochemically detected without mediator at the nanostructured composite electrode at E=+0.5 V vs. Ag/AgCl. Under the optimized conditions, the bienzyme MYR/GOx‐Aucoll‐MWCNT‐Teflon exhibited improved analytical characteristics for the glucosinolate sinigrin with respect to a biosensor constructed without gold nanoparticles, i.e. a MYR/GOx‐MWCNT‐Teflon electrode, as well as with respect to other glucosinolate biosensor designs reported in the literature. The biosensor exhibits good repeatability of the amperometric measurements and good interassay reproducibility. Furthermore, the biosensor exhibited a high selectivity with respect to various potential interferents. The usefulness of the biosensor was evaluated by the determination of glucosinolate in Brussel sprout seeds.  相似文献
