Disclosed here is a molecular switch which responds to acid-base stimuli and serves as a bi-state catalyst for two different reactions. The two states of the switch serve as a highly active and poorly active catalyst for two catalytic reactions (namely a hydrogenation and a dehydrogenative coupling) but in a complementary manner. The system was used in an assisted tandem catalysis set-up involving dehydrogenative coupling of an amine and then hydrogenation of the resulting imine product by switching between the respective states of the catalyst. 相似文献

[60]- and [70]Fullerenes have been shown to form 1:1 supramolecular complexes with bis[2-(5,11,17,23,29,35-hexa-tert-butyl-37,38,39,40,41-pentahydroxycalix[6]arenyl-oxy ethyl ether) (1) and 5,11,17,23,29,35-hexa-tert-butyl-37,38,40,41-tetra hydroxyl-39,42-(crown-4)calix[6]arene (2) in CHCl3 medium by electronic absorption spectroscopy. Formation constants (K) of the complexes of [60]- and [70]fullerenes with 1 and 2 have been determined at room temperature from which free energy of formation values of the complexes have been estimated. The very high formation constant value of [60]fullerene/1 complex (5900 dm3 mol-1) in indicative of formation of inclusion complex. Moreover, PM3 calculations reveal that intermolecular interaction between [60]fullerene and 1 proceeds through quite deep energy molecular orbital. 相似文献

Considering external electric field as well as third- and fourth-order phonon anharmonic interaction terms in the pseudospin-lattice
coupled mode (PLCM) model Hamiltonian for KDP-type ferroelectrics, expressions for field-dependent shift, width, renormalized
soft mode frequency, Curie temperature, dielectric constant and dielectric loss are evaluated. For the calculation, method
of statistical double-time temperature-dependent Green’s function has been used. By fitting model values of physical quantities,
temperature and electric field dependences of soft mode frequency, dielectric constant and loss have been calculated which
compare well with experimental results of Baumgartner [8] and Choi and Lockwood [9]. Both dielectric constant and loss decrease
with electric field. 相似文献

Using Green’s function method, microwave lossess were theoretically calculated for BaTiO3, SrTiO3 and KTaO3 ferroelectric perovskites. In microwave range, an increase in frequency is followed by an increase in the dielectric loss.
In the paraelectric phase, the dielectric loss decreases with increasing temperature showing the Curie-Weiss behaviour of
the tangent loss. 相似文献

The soft mode dynamics and related properties of perovskite, ABO3-type crystals have been studied using the operator form of the model Hamiltonian proposed by Pytte. The correlations have
been evaluated using the double time thermal Green’s function technique and Dyson’s equation. Without any decoupling, the
higher order correlations, appearing in the dynamical equation, have been evaluated using the renormalized Hamiltonian. The
dielectric properties are directly related to the optical soft mode. The phonon width and shift have been calculated for different
structural phases. The analysis of the temperature dependence of microwave loss tangent and dielectric constant explains the
experimental results. 相似文献

Stephania glabra (Roxb.) Miers (Menispermaceae) has long been used for the treatment of asthma, tuberculosis, dysentery, hyperglycaemia, cancer, fever, intestinal complaints, sleep disturbances and inflammation in many Asian countries. It mainly contains alkaloids and, until now, over 30 alkaloids such as bisbenzylisoquinolines, hasubanalactams, berberines and aporphines have been isolated from its tuber. Most of its traditional medicinal activities are scientifically approved by various in vitro and in vivo studies. It shows remarkable anti-psychotic, anti-diabetic, antipyretic, analgesic, antimicrobial and anti-hypertensive activities. This work includes comprehensive information on the ethnobotany, chemistry and pharmacology of S. glabra. This review also focuses on the future perspectives with main emphasis on the establishment of therapeutic index and safety index of the plant. This review concludes that S. glabra has a great potential to treat various diseases, and could be used as a source for novel healthcare products in the near future, which needs further studies. 相似文献

The genus Cajanus (Family: Fabaceae) consists of approximately 37 species, and Cajanus cajan (C. cajan) is a significant member of the genus. It is a commercial legume crop widely grown in sub-tropical and semi-arid tropical areas of the world. C. cajan is well known for its folk medicinal uses to treat various disorders, such as toothache, dizziness, diabetes, stomachache, female ailments and chronic infections. These properties have been linked to the presence of several value-added nutritional and bioactive components. Different solvent extracts from C. cajan (leaves, root, stem and seeds) have been evaluated for their phytochemical and biological activities, namely antioxidant, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, neuroprotective, and anti-inflammatory effects. Taken together, and considering the prominent nutraceutical and therapeutic properties of C. cajan, this review article focuses on the important details including ethnomedicinal uses, chemical composition, biological applications and some other medicinal aspects related to C. cajan nutraceutical and pharmacological applications. 相似文献
