A rhodium-catalyzed silylation reaction of carbon-cyano bonds using disilane has been developed. Under these catalytic conditions, carbon-cyano bonds in aryl, alkenyl, allyl, and benzyl cyanides bearing a variety of functional groups can be silylated. The observation of an enamine side product in the silylation of benzyl cyanides and related stoichiometric studies indicate that the carbon-cyano bond cleavage proceeds through the deinsertion of silyl isocyanide from eta(2)-iminoacyl complex B. Knowledge gained from these studies has led to the development of a new intramolecular biaryl coupling reaction in which aryl cyanides and aryl chlorides are cross-coupled.  相似文献

When Escherichia coli B was aerobically grown in a medium containing one-fourth the concentration of the LB medium supplemented with glutamic acid at 43 degrees C under an inhomogeneous 5.2-6.1 T magnetic field, the number of cells in the stationary phase under the high magnetic field was 100,000 times higher than that under a geomagnetic field. The finding that the amount of sigma S factor encoded by the rpoS gene under the high magnetic field was larger than that under the control geomagnetic field indicated that the activity of the rpoS gene was affected by the high magnetic field.  相似文献

This short article introduces and studies a modified offensive earned-run average (MOERA) index which is based on a stationary Markov chain and evaluates the contribution of a player in baseball. An original offensive earned-run average (OERA) index does not consider the effect of stealing. The MOERA index proposed here includes the effect. When Escherichia coli B was aerobically grown at 43 degrees C in a medium whose concentration was one-fourth that of the Luria-Bertani (LB) medium supplemented with 1.5 g/l of glutamic acid, drastic cell death was observed after the end of the logarithmic growth phase. However, when the same experiment was conducted under inhomogeneous 5.2-6.1 T magnetic field, cell death was extremely suppressed and the ratio of viable cell number under high magnetic field to that under geomagnetic field reached as much as 100,000. When the magnetic field exposure was restricted to 12 h after the logarithmic growth phase, a similar high degree of suppressive effect on the death was observed. The findings that the amount of sigma S protein encoded by the rpoS gene under the high magnetic field was larger than that under the geomagnetic field, and that the magnetic field effect disappeared when the rpoS gene-deficient strain was cultivated under the high magnetic field, suggest the interaction of magnetic field with a stationary phase specific gene.  相似文献

The phenomenon called growth advantage in stationary phase (GASP) originally discovered by Kolter et al. was confirmed using two bacterial strains, Escherichia coli ZK126Nalr and ZK126Smr, under the geomagnetic field. However, when the same experiment was conducted in an inhomogeneous high magnetic field of 5.2-6.1 T, almost no death of ZK126Smr was observed and the GASP phenomenon disappeared. When the same experiment was conducted in a homogeneous magnetic field of 7 T, the GASP was significantly delayed due to the much slower death rate of ZK126Smr than that in the geomagnetic field. These data are consistent with our previous finding that a high magnetic field reduces the death rate of bacteria and enhances their survivability in a stationary phase.  相似文献

2,2′-Dipyridyl-2-quinolylhydrazone (DPQH) was used for the spectrophotometric determination of trace amount of iron(II) after the extraction process. Iron(II) reacts with DPQH at pH 3.4–4.5 to form a water-insoluble 1:2 complex, which can be extracted with many kinds of organic solvent. The extracted species with benzene has absorption maxima at 473, 504, and 644 nm and obeyed Beer's law over the range 0–14 μg of iron at 504 nm and 0–33 μg at 644 nm. The molar absorptivities at 504 and 644 nm are 3.14 × 104 and 1.30 × 104M?1 cm?1, respectively. DPQH is one of the most sensitive reagents for iron(II) and trace amount of iron(II) can be determined in the presence of fairly large amounts of other ions. Possible equilibria involved in the extraction process were also studied.  相似文献

Although the pioneering example of ortho metalation involving cleavage of C-H bonds was achieved using a nickel complex (Kleiman, J. P.; Dubeck, M. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 1963, 85, 1544), no examples of catalysis using nickel complexes have been reported. In this work, the Ni-catalyzed transformation of ortho C-H bonds utilizing chelation assistance, such as oxidative cycloaddition of aromatic amides with alkynes, has been achieved.  相似文献

The first catalytic alkynylation of unactivated C(sp(3))-H bonds has been accomplished. The method allows for the straightforward introduction of an ethynyl group into aliphatic acid derivatives under palladium catalysis. This new reaction can be applied to the rapid elaboration of complex aliphatic acids, for example, via azide/alkyne cycloaddition.  相似文献
