This Review discusses the synthesis and characterization by our Group of new antibiotics belonging to the class of penicillins, cephalosporins and rifamycins with ferrocenyl and 1, 1′-ferrocenilene residues in the molecule. As reactants for 6-aminopenicillanic acid (6-APA) and 7-aminocephalosporanic acid (7-ACA) the following were used: 1, 1-bis(chlorocarbonyl)ferrocene, ferrocenyl sulfochloride, 1, 1′-ferrocenylenedisulfochloride and thioglycolic acids S-modified with ferrocene. In the synthesis of rifamycins, the hydrazides of the thioglycolic acids, S-modified with ferrocene, were employed as nucleophilic agents. The synthesized intermediates were characterized by elemental analysis, TLC, IR, UV and 1H NMR spectra. The characterization of new antibiotics was made by TLC, IR and UV spectral analysis. Biological activity was tested on Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Good activity is reported towards Gram-positive bacteria in the case of derivatives containing residues of thioglycolic acid S-modified with ferrocene, the antibacterial activity being similar to that of amoxicillin, carbenicillin and cephalothin. All compounds are inactive towards Gram-negative bacteria. 相似文献

Various combinations of Cu(0), CuCl, 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) were used as catalysts for the grafting polymerizations of styrene from polysiloxane macroinitiators functionalized with benzyl chloride. While Cu(0)/bpy alone promotes the grafting, narrower polydispersities were obtained in the presence of CuCl. Analysis of the Cu(0) surface before and after polymerization by a combination of AFM, TGA and FTIR investigations reveals the formation of bpy or phen films on Cu(0). In the presence of CuCl, the ligand film appears decorated with CuCl particles which increase in size with increasing the CuCl concentration. The initial layer occurs most likely as a result of complexation between the ligands and the Cu(0) surface and acts as a support for the rest of the film. These observations are consistent with the film formation on Cu(0) from related nitrogen donors and indicate that the reactivity of the Cu surface may depend not only on its prior treatment but also on the deposition of ligands from the reaction mixture. 相似文献

The oxidation processes of white wines can occur during storage and commercialization due to several factors, and these can negatively affect the color, aroma, and quality of the wine. Wineries should have faster and simpler methods that provide valuable information on oxidation stability of wines and allow fast decision-making procedures, able to trigger suitable technological interventions. Using a portable prototype instrument for light irradiations at different wavelengths and times was considered and evaluated on sensorial, spectrophotometric, and colorimetric parameters of white wines. The sensorial analysis revealed that white and light blue were the most significant, after only 1 h of irradiation. The experimental results showed that hydrogen peroxide could enhance the effect of light treatment, allowing a contemporary evaluation of the oxidation stability of wine against light and chemical stresses. As expected, a good correlation (R2 > 0.89) between optical density at 420 nm and b* parameter was highlighted. The synergic effect of light and H2O2 was also studied on the hydrolyzable and condensed tannins’ additions to white wine. The proposed methodology could be used to evaluate the oxidative stability of white wines, but also to evaluate the effect of some oenological adjuvants on wine stability. 相似文献

Nitrate esters are nitrovasodilators and NO mimetics, believed to be biotransformed to NO in vivo. On the basis of a mechanistic hypothesis, nitrates have been synthesized that release NO at significant rates in neutral aqueous solution in the presence only of added thiol. A Stinespring type theorem, for covariant completely positive linear maps of C1-algebras, is proved. As a corollary, a criterion for a representation of a locally compact group to be a subrepresentation of an induced one is given. The synthesis and structural characterization of new liquid‐crystalline compounds containing ferrocene, azo‐aromatic and cholesteryl groups are reported. Taking into account the advantage brought by chirality, ferrocene and azo units, these structures could be good precursors for obtaining materials capable of responding to magnetic and electric fields or to UV‐light exposure. The influence of each structural unit (ferrocene, cholesterol, azo aromatic core and flexible chain length) has been studied by comparing analogous compounds possessing the same structure but without the element being analyzed. Ferrocene is a three‐dimensional bulky unit, so that, regardless of the substituents' nature, this unit could cause steric repulsions with neighboring molecules. These interactions could lead to a decrease of the transition temperature domain. Surprisingly, a decrease in the clearing point was not observed for the compounds discussed. This behavior was possible because ferrocene is connected to the mesogen via a flexible unit. As a consequence, both phenyl analogues and ferrocene derivatives presented liquid‐crystalline properties with similarly high clearing points, but above the thermal stability of derivatives with azo groups. Their melting points depend on the way the molecules are packed, with different crystalline states being detected in the case of ferrocene derivatives. A generalization of the notion of coherent states is given. The following one-to-one correspondences are pointed out: (1) between covariant overcomplete systems of coherent states and a class of covariant semi-spectral measures; (2) between covariant semispectral measures and unitary irreducible subrepresentations of induced representations of Lie groups; (3) between unitary irreducible representations of Lie groups with covariant overcomplete systems of coherent states and unitary irreducible subrepresentations of induced representations, whose representation spaces are reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces. 相似文献
