In this study, experimental and numerical analysis was performed to define thermal deformation inside the head lamp because of usage plastic materials and thermal loads. Buoyancy, radiation and conjugate effects were considered. Velocity and temperature distributions were obtained and possible hot points and condense regions can be determined. Nusselt number distribution on cylindrical bulb were computed and compared with literature. Relatively important heat transfer increase in natural convection was found. 相似文献

Four water soluble azo dyes, 4-(isopropyl)-2-[(E)-(4-chlorophenyl)diazenyl]phenol (L 1), 4-(isopropyl)-2-[(E)-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)diazenyl]phenol (L2), 4-(sec-butyl)-2-[(E)-(4-chlorophenyl) diazenyl]phenol (L 3), 4-(sec-butyl)-2-[(E)-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)diazenyl]phenol (L 4), and their Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes were synthesized and characterized using spectroscopic methods. Examination of their thermal stability revealed similar decomposition temperature of approximately 260–300°C and that they were more thermally stable than their metal complexes. Ni(II) complexes of ligands L2 and L4 were more stable than the other coordination compounds. Among the synthesized ligands, L2 and the complexes Cu(L3)2 and Ni(L4)2 showed both antimicrobial and antifungal activity. However, the other ligands and the complexes were poorly active against selected microorganisms. 相似文献

Earlier studies have shown a strong correlation between the enthalpy of formation, ΔHf,ox, and the ionic conductivity, σi, near room temperature in doped ceria systems, which are promising solid electrolytes for intermediate‐temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT‐SOFCs). The present work demonstrates that this correlation holds at the operating temperature of IT‐SOFCs, 600–700 °C. Solid solutions of Ce1?xNdxO2?0.5x, Ce1?xSmxO2?0.5x, and Ce1?xSm0.5xNd0.5xO2?0.5x are studied. The ΔHf,ox at 702 °C is determined by considering the excess heat content between 25 and 702 °C combined with the value of ΔHf,ox at 25 °C. Both σi and ΔHf,ox show maxima at x=0.15 and 0.20 for the singly and doubly doped ceria, respectively, suggesting that the number of mobile oxygen vacancies in these solid solutions reaches a maximum near those compositions. An increase in temperature results in a shift of the maximum in both ΔHf,ox and σi towards higher concentrations. This shift results from a gradual increase in dissociation of the defect associates. 相似文献

A novel phthalonitrile derivative bearing 2‐isopropyl‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4‐yloxy substituents at peripheral positions was synthesized by a nucleophilic substitution reaction. Metallophthalocyanines were obtained from the reaction of the novel phthalonitrile with metal Zn, Cu, Co, and Ni salts. The characterization of the compounds was performed using elemental analysis as well as UV/Vis, FT‐IR, and 1H‐NMR spectroscopy. The aggregation behaviors of phthalocyanine complexes were also investigated. These metallophthalocyanines do not show any aggregation behavior between 10–4–10–6 M concentration range in THF. The antioxidant activities of the synthesized compounds were evaluated using three different tests: 2, 2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging, metal chelating activity, and reducing power assays. All the compounds exhibited various antioxidant activities. In addition, antimicrobial activity of the compounds was tested over four gram positive and two gram negative bacteria. Moreover, the ground‐state geometries of the complexes were optimized using density functional theory (DFT) methods at B3LYP/6‐31G(d, p) level in order to obtain information about the 3D arrangements and electronic structure. 相似文献

Cationic polymers can bind DNA to form polyplexes, which are noncovalent complexes used for gene delivery into the targeted cells. For more insight on such biologically relevant systems, the noncovalent complexes between the cationic polymer poly(ethylene imine) (PEI) and the nucleotide mimicking dye Cibacron Blue F3G‐A (CB) were investigated using mass spectrometry methods. Two PEIs of low molecular weight were utilized (Mn ≈ 423 and 600 Da). The different types of CB anions produced by Na+/H+ exchanges on the three sulfonic acid groups of CB and their dehydrated counterparts were responsible for complex formation with PEI. The CB anions underwent noncovalent complex formation with protonated, but not with sodiated PEI. A higher proportion of cyclic oligomers were detected in PEI423 than PEI600, but both architectures formed association products with CB. Tandem mass spectrometry studies revealed a significantly stronger noncovalent interaction between PEI and dehydrated CB than between PEI and intact CB. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Pitaya is one of the most preferred and produced tropical fruit species recently introduced to the Mediterrranean region in Turkey. Due to its nutritional fruits with high economic value, the popularity of pitaya increases steadily in Turkey as an alternative crop. No detailed nutritional analysis has been undertaken in Turkey so far on fruits of the pitaya species. In this study, we determined and compared some nutritional parameters in fruit flesh of two pitaya (dragon fruit) species (Hylocereus polyrhizus: Siyam and Hylocereus undatus: Vietnam Jaina) grown in the Adana province located in the eastern Mediterranean region in Turkey. The individual sugars, antioxidant activity, total phenolic content, phenolic compounds and volatiles were determined for the first time in Turkey on two pitaya species. The results showed that total phenol content and antioxidant capacity are notably higher in red-fleshed fruits than white-fleshed ones and the predominant phenolic compound in fruits of both species was quercetin. The total sugar content and most of the phenolic compounds in fruits of two pitaya species were similar. A total of 51 volatile compounds were detected by using two Solid Phase Micro Extraction (SPME) fibers, coupled with Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) techniques, and more volatile compounds were presented in the white-fleshed species. Total phenolic content (TPC) of the red-fleshed and white-fleshed pitaya species were 16.66 and 17.11 mg GAE/100 g FW (fresh weight). This study provides a first look at the biochemical comparison of red-fleshed and white-fleshed pitaya species introduced and cultivated in Turkey. The results also showed, for the first time, the biochemical content and the potential health benefit of Hylocereus grown in different agroecological conditions, providing important information for pitaya researchers and application perspective. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigate with a time fractional-order derivative in a three-species predator-prey model with the presence of prey social behavior. A new approximation for predator-prey interaction in the presence of prey social behavior has been considered. For the model analysis, the study has been divided into two principal parts. First of all, we study the local stability of the equilibria and the existence of Hopf bifurcation. Then, for the numerical analysis, the Caputo fractional derivative operator is utilized to approximate the numerical solution of the model. We discuss the parametrization of quantum groups in terms of independent operators. We find that this consideration leads to the parametrization ofSU q(2) in terms of aq-oscillator plus a commuting phase. The commuting phase is naturally identified with the subgroupU(1) and the remaining cosetSU q(2)/U(1)=CP q(1) consists of aq-oscillator. For unitary quantum groupsSU q (n), the analogous construction results in the quantum projective spaceSU q(n+1)/U q (n)=CP q (n) being identified with then-dimensionalq-oscillator. In this study, a Legendre collocation matrix method is presented to solve high-order Linear Fredholm integro-differential equations under the mixed conditions in terms of Legendre polynomials. The proposed method converts the equation and conditions to matrix equations, by means of collocation points on the interval [−1, 1], which corresponding to systems of linear algebraic equations with Legendre coefficients. Thus, by solving the matrix equation, Legendre coefficients and polynomial approach are obtained. Also examples that illustrate the pertinent features of the method are presented and by using the error analysis, the results are discussed. 相似文献
