Isotopic ratios of δ13CVPDB and δ18OVSMOW have been used as an additional parameter to ensure the authenticity of the aging time of 100% agave tequila. For this purpose, 120 samples were isotopically analyzed (40 silver class, 40 aged class, and 40 extra-aged classes). The samples were obtained through a stratified sampling by proportional allocation, considering tequila producers from the main different regions of Jalisco, Mexico (Valles 41%, Altos Sur 31%, Cienega 16%, and Centro 12%). The results showed that the δ13CVPDB was found in an average of −12.85 ‰ for all the analyzed beverages, with no significant difference between them. Since for all the tested samples the Agave tequilana Weber blue variety was used as source of sugar to obtain alcohol, those results were foreseeable, and confirm the origin of the sugar source. Instead, the results for δ18OVSMOW showed a positive slope linear trend for the aging time (silver class 19.52‰, aged class 20.54‰, extra-aged class 21.45‰), which is associated with the maturation process, there are oxidation reactions that add congeneric compounds to the beverage, these can be used as tracers for the authenticity of the aging time. Additionally, the experimental data showed homogeneity in the beverages regardless of the production region, evidencing the tequila industry’s high-quality standards. However, a particular case occurs with the δ18OVSMOW data for the silver class samples, in which a clear trend is noted with the altitude of the region of origin; therefore, this information suggests that this analytical parameter could be useful to authenticate the regional origin of beverage.  相似文献

The effect of simultaneous substitution of a fluctuating cation and a divalent cation in LaMnO3 perovskite modifies the properties of the material to exhibit large valence colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) effect. A good example of these properties is (La1−2x Pr x Ca x )MnO3 (LPCMO) type CMR material. In this communication it is reported that, with the increase in x (for x=0.1, 0.15, 0.2), the T c varies between 100 and 120 K with improvisation in metal-insulator transition. Interestingly, resistance increases with x from few hundred ohms to few kilo ohms with corresponding decrease in the unit cell volume. The results of the studies using X-ray diffraction (XRD), electrical resistivity, magnetoresistance and ac susceptibility measurements on LPCMO samples for understanding the structural, transport and magnetic properties are discussed in detail.  相似文献

We study the electrophoresis of surface-charged thermosensitive microgel particles based on poly-N-isopropylacrylamide (PNIPAM); these deswell with increasing temperature T. Our results show that the electrophoretic mobility mu is affected by the temperature-induced volume phase transition. It increases with increasing temperature, as a result of the charge density increase induced by particle deswelling. Temperature thus allows control of mu, in contrast to the more conventional charged hard spheres for which mu is T independent. Salt also affects the mu behavior and gives rise to rich phenomenology, sharing common characteristics with charged hard spheres and polyelectrolyte-coated colloids depending on whether the microgels are swollen or deswollen. We interpret the effects of salt concentration n by considering that particle charges are located in an external shell, as confirmed by titrations, and that it is this shell-salt-induced compression that affects the resulting mu behavior.  相似文献

An experimental study on the electrophoretic mobility (μe) of polystyrene particles after the adsorption of non-ionic surfactants with different chain lengths is described. Two sulphate latexes with relatively low surface charge densities (3.2 and 4.8 μC cm−2) were used as solid substrate for the adsorption of four non-ionic surfactants, Triton X-100, Triton X-165, Triton X-305 and Triton X-405, each one with 9–10, 16, 30 and 40 molecules of ethylene oxide (EO), respectively. The electrophoretic mobility of the polystyrene–non-ionic surfactant complexes was studied versus the amount of adsorbed surfactant (Γ). The presence of non-ionic surfactant onto particles surface seems to produce a slight shifting of the slipping plane because the mobilities of the different complexes display a very small decreasing. The increase in the number of EO chains in the surfactant molecule seems to operate as a steric impediment which decreases the number of adsorbed large surfactant molecules. The electrophoretic mobilities of the latex–surfactant complexes with maximum adsorption were measured versus the pH and ionic strength of the dispersion. While the different complexes showed a similar qualitative behaviour compared with that of the bare latex against the pH, the adsorption of the surfactant reduces the typical maximum in the μe−log[electrolyte].  相似文献

This study presents the method development, validation, and simultaneous determination of dimethoate and its metabolite omethoate in curry leaf. Samples were extracted following modified quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe extraction protocol and analyzed using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The limit of quantification in the matrix was 0.005 μg g−1 for dimethoate and omethoate. Extraction using acetonitrile recorded the average recoveries in the range of 82.25 to 112.97% for dimethoate and 85.57 to 107.22% for omethoate at 0.005, 0.025 and 0.050 μg g−1 fortification levels and relative standard deviation less than 5%. Similarly, the relative standard deviation values for intraday (Repeatability) and interday (Reproducibility) tests were less than 15%. Dissipation kinetics of dimethoate 30% emulsifiable concentrate at 200 and 400 g a.i h−1 recorded initial deposits of 5.20 and 10.05 μg g−1 and 0.33 and 0.48 μg g−1 for dimethoate and omethoate, respectively, and half-life of 3.07 and 3.34 days. The estimated hazard index value found more than one at a day after dimethoate application. It is not safe for consumer health to use curry leaves in the initial days after application.  相似文献
