The dinuclear zinc complex reported by us is to date the most active zinc catalyst for the co‐polymerization of cyclohexene oxide (CHO) and carbon dioxide. However, co‐polymerization experiments with propylene oxide (PO) and CO2 revealed surprisingly low conversions. Within this work, we focused on clarification of this behavior through experimental results and quantum chemical studies. The combination of both results indicated the formation of an energetically highly stable intermediate in the presence of propylene oxide and carbon dioxide. A similar species in the case of cyclohexene oxide/CO2 co‐polymerization was not stable enough to deactivate the catalyst due to steric repulsion. 相似文献

The dynamics of the one-dimensional spin glass with asymmetric interactions between neighboring spins is considered. We confine ourselves to discrete couplings with values ±J. We show that the algebraic decay of the remanent magnetization of the infinite ±J-spin chain at zero temperature is only valid for symmetric couplings. Our analytical investigations as well as computer simulations show stretched exponential decay for any finite concentration of antisymmetric bonds. Thus, the asymmetric ±J-spin chain shows an asymmetry-induced phase transition at zero temperature. 相似文献

This paper aims at reporting on the synthesis of a heterograft copolymer by combining the “grafting onto” process based on atom transfer radical addition (ATRA) and the “grafting from” process by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). The statistical copolymerization of ε‐caprolactone (εCL) and α‐chloro‐ε‐caprolactone (αClεCL) was initiated by 2,2‐dibutyl‐2‐stanna‐1,3‐dioxepane (DSDOP), followed by ATRA of parts of the chlorinated units of poly(αClεCL‐co‐εCL) on the terminal double bond of α‐MeO,ω‐CH2?CH? CH2? CO2‐poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO). The amphiphilic poly(εCL‐g‐EO) graft copolymer collected at this stage forms micelles as supported by dynamic light scattering (DLS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The unreacted pendant chloro groups of poly(εCL‐g‐EO) were used to initiate the ATRP of styrene with formation of copolymer with two populations of randomly distributed grafts, that is PEO and polystyrene. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The reaction of BiCl(3) with the lithium salt of o-di-tert-butylphenol under nitrogen forms organic oxidation products rather than the expected Bi(OAr)(3) complex, and bismuth disproportionation products. Likewise, the decomposition of Bi(III) aryloxides Bi(O-2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3))(3) and ClBi(O-2,4,6-(t)Bu(3)C(6)H(2))(3) leads to corresponding organic oxidation products. This paper deals with approximate analysis methods for open queueing networks. External and internal flows from and to the nodes are characterized by renewal processes with discrete time distributions of their interarrival times. Stationary distributions of the waiting time, the queue size and the interdeparture times are obtained using efficient discrete time algorithms for single server (GI/G/1) and multi-server (GI/D/c) nodes with deterministic service. Zusammenfassung In den Dreistoffen: Ti{Zr, Hf, Nb}–(Cu, Ag)–(Al, Ga) werden aus den Komponenten im Bereich von 50 At%T, 20–40 At% (Cu, Ag) und 10–30 At% (Al, Ga) Legierungen hergestellt und röntgenographisch untersucht. Es werden ternäre Phasen mit der ungefähren Zusammensetzung Ti(Cu, Al)2, Zr3Cu2Al, Zr3Ag2Al, Hf3Cu2Al, Hf3Ag2Al und Nb3Cu2Ga aufgefunden. Die erstgenannte Kristallart gehört zum MgZn2-Typ, während die übrigen mit der E 93-Struktur isotyp sind. Die Phasen mit E 93-Typ können geringe Mengen an Nichtmetall (N, O) enthalten.

The ternary compounds Ti(Cu, Al)2, Zr3Cu2Al, Zr3Ag2Al, Hf3Cu2Al, Hf3Ag2Al and Nb3Cu2Ga have been prepared and examined. It has been shown that Ti(Cu, Al)2 possesses the MgZn2 structure, while the other compounds crystallize in the E 93-type. The latter phases presumably contain a small amount of non-metals (N, O).
