Results of long-term experimental investigations of the combustion of forest combustible materials are presented. For performing the investigations, a test bench had been developed and built which was completed with instruments for optical and thermal imaging. The higher measurement accuracy has made it possible to obtain some new data and to refine the previously known ones. The predictions of numerical simulations of ground forest fires are discussed.  相似文献

The one‐ and two‐bond 13C isotope shifts, typically ?1.5 to ?2.5 ppb and ?0.7 ppb respectively, in non‐cyclic aliphatic systems and up to ?4.4 ppb and ?1.0 ppb in glucose cause effects that need to be taken into account in the adaptive NMR spectral library‐based quantification of the isotopomer mixtures. In this work, NMR spectral analyses of some 13C‐labelled amino acids, D ‐glucose and other small compounds were performed in order to obtain rules for prediction of the 13C isotope effects on 1H chemical shifts. It is proposed that using the additivity rules, the isotope effects can be predicted with a sufficient accuracy for amino acid isotopomer applications. For glucose the effects were found strongly non‐additive. The complete spectral analysis of fully 13C‐labelled D ‐glucose made it also possible to assign the exocyclic proton signals of the glucose. The 13C NMR spectra of six hydroxybenzenes, all chlorobenzenes, all chlorophenols and eight chlorocatechols are measured and assigned. The additivity of the substituent effects and the usefulness of some corrective parameters are studied with regression analysis. The order of the chemical shifts is most efficiently predicted by the simplest substituent effect model, containing only the direct effects of the substituents, although the 95% confidence limits of the calculated shifts are as high as 5.6 ppm. If the chemical shifts need to be predicted within the measuring errors (approximately 0.05–0.10 ppm, in the present data), the number of necessary corrections is very impractical. The correction parameters are found to be independent of the solvent if no conformational effects are operative. These corrections, or the non-additivity parameters, are thus theoretically interesting. Approximate 1J(CH) couplings are also reported and the additivity of substitution effects on these parameters are discussed.  相似文献

Complete analysis of the (1)H NMR spectrum of huperzine A, 1-amino-13-ethylidene-11-methyl-6-aza-tricyclo[7.3.1.0(2, 7)]trideca-2(7),3,10-trien-5-one, a Lycopodium alkaloid and anti-Alzheimer drug lead containing an ABCD(E)(MN)(OP)X(3)Y(3)-type system of 15 nonexchangeable proton spins, is reported for the first time, and earlier assignments are corrected. The complete (1)H parameter set of 11 chemical shifts clarifies the diastereotopism of both methylene groups, and provides a total of 38 observed H,H-couplings including 31 long-range ((4-6)J) connectivities. The NMR data is consistent with the comparatively rigid alicyclic backbone predicted by molecular mechanics calculations, and forms the basis for (1)H NMR fingerprint analysis for the purpose of dereplication, purity analysis, and elucidation of structural analogs.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The biosynthetic origin of the botcinolide skeleton was investigated by means of feeding 13C- and 2H-labeled precursors to Botrytis cinerea. Three new compounds, two homobotcinolide derivatives, 3-O-acetylhomobotcinolide (5) and 8-methylhomobotcinolide (6), and a new 11-membered lactone (7), were isolated. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data, including one-bond and long-range 1H-13C correlations. The relative stereochemistries were determined by combined analyses of NOE data and 1H-1H coupling constants. According to the results of feeding experiments with 13C- and 2H-labeled acetate and l-S-methylmethionine, 5 is an acetate-derived polyketide whose methyl groups originate from l-S-methylmethionine. This is a rare example of the incorporation of a methyl from methionine into a supposed C3 starter unit of the polyketide synthesis.  相似文献

Constitutive androstane receptor (CAR), along with pregnane x receptor (PXR), is an important metabolic sensor in the hepatocytes. Like all other nuclear receptors (NRs), CAR works in concert with coregulator proteins, coactivators, and corepressors which bind to the NRs. The main basis for the receptor to distinguish between coactivators and corepressors is the position of the C-terminal helix 12 (H12), which is determined by the bound NR ligand. CAR, having constitutive activity, can be repressed or further activated by its ligands. Crystal structure of human CAR bound to an agonist and a coactivator peptide is available, but no structural information on an inverse agonist-bound human CAR and a corepressor exists. In our previous molecular dynamics (MD) studies, no corepressor peptide was included. Therefore, probably due to the strong interactions which keep the relatively short H12 of CAR in the active position, the structural changes elicited by inverse agonists were very subtle, and H12 of CAR seemed to more or less retain its active conformation. Here, we have run a series of MD simulations to study the movement of H12 in the presence of both activating and repressing ligands as well as a corepressor peptide. The presence of the corepressor on the coregulator surface of CAR induced a clear shift of H12 of the inverse agonists-bound CAR. In general, H12 moved toward H10 and not away from the ligand binding domain, as seen in some other NRs. However, H12 of CAR is short enough that this movement seems to be adequate to accommodate the binding of the corepressor.  相似文献

Alkyl chains are common structural units, for example in lipids, and their 1H NMR spectral parameters offer valuable information about their conformational behavior in solvent environment. Even the spectra of short n‐alkanes are complex, which is obviously a reason why their accurate spectral analyses have not been reported before. The present study reports the quantum mechanical analysis of 1H NMR spectra of n‐butane, n‐pentane, n‐hexane, and n‐heptane. The spectral parameters were used to characterize the conformational behavior of n‐alkanes. The temperature dependence analysis of coupling constants suggests that the enthalpy difference between the gauche (g) and trans (t) conformations (ΔHg) of n‐butane in chloroform is 2.55–2.85 kJ mol?1. The difference between the trans–gauche (tg) and all‐trans (tt) conformers of n‐pentane (ΔHtg) seems to be 0.1–0.2 kJ mol?1 higher. The coupling constant information shows that the tn conformations become more favored with longer chains, although not only for energetic reasons but also partly because the g+g arrangements become sterically unfavorable, which decreases the number of favorable gn‐type conformations. The analysis of the 1H NMR spectra of n‐pentane and n‐hexane in solvents representing different chemical environments indicates that polar and spherical dimethyl sulfoxide favors clearly the g conformations, whereas n‐hexane‐d14 favors slightly the extended tn conformation. In addition to the intrinsic scientific importance for NMR spectral parameter prediction and molecular modeling in solution, the results provide some insights to behavior of hydrocarbon chains and their spectra in different chemical environments. In the present study, the determination of mineral and trace elements (Al, B, Ca, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, P and Zn) from pine needles using three sample pre-treatment methods followed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry, was examined. Sample pre-treatment methods tested were microwave digestion, ultrasound-assisted digestion and dry ashing. The new ultrasound-assisted digestion method was optimised by the analysis of the standard reference material (SRM) 1575a (pine needles) sample. The speed of dry ashing method was significantly increased by ultrasound dissolution after ashing. All the ICP-OES measurements were performed in robust plasma conditions which were tested by measuring the Mg II 280.270 nm/Mg I 285.213 nm line intensity ratios. The microwave digestion resulted generally in slightly higher element concentrations than ultrasound-assisted digestion. B, Cu and Na resulted in such low concentrations that they could not be accurately determined by using the microwave digestion method. The t-tests found no significant differences between the certified and the determined element concentrations of the SRM 1575a using the dry ashing method followed with ultrasound dissolution.  相似文献
