Method of thermodynamic simulation was used to calculate the equilibrium parameters of reactions of graphite with anhydrous LiOH, NaOH, and KOH and with the alkalis in the presence of water vapor. In this Letter, we report the structural and luminescent properties of Tb:Ce:Al2O3 crystalline ceramic powders prepared through combustion synthesis at low temperature (280 °C). The presence of Ce3+ (1.0 mol%) in the sample resulted in an enhancement of Tb3+ (1.0 mol%) overall emission intensity by a factor of 50. The analysis of the luminescence dynamics for the 5D4 → 7F6 transition (545 nm) of Tb3+ demonstrated that the mechanism responsible for the large enhancement of luminescence observed is efficient energy transfer from Ce3+ to Tb3+. 相似文献

The effect of small additives of functionalized multiwall carbon nanotubes used as a modifier on the formation and properties of epoxy polymers cured with diaminodiphenyl sulfone is investigated. In the range of additive concentrations 0.01–0.50 wt %, there are extreme dependences of dynamic storage modulus and the glass-transition temperature on modifier concentration. As shown by electron microscopy and X-ray scattering, regions with increased packing densities of macromolecules are formed in the polymers in the presence of the modifier. The effect of the specific surface on the kinetics of curing of epoxy resins is observed. A mechanism controlling the formation of the epoxy matrix that is responsible for the inhomogeneous polymer structuring that defines the final properties of the polymers is suggested. 相似文献

Alumina (Al2O3) powders doped with europium trivalent (Eu3+) were prepared by a low-temperature (∼280 °C) combustion synthesis technique. When the powder was heat treated at 1200 °C for 2 h in the presence of flowing ammonia (NH3), α-Al2O3 crystalline ceramic powders was obtained. The analysis of the luminescence showed that Eu3+ was reduced to europium divalent (Eu2+) after the heat-treatment process. Under ultraviolet (UV) lamp excitation (λ=254 nm) these powders containing sub-microcrystalline structures present bright red (Al2O3:Eu3+) and green (Al2O3:Eu2+) luminescence indicating that this material is a potential candidate for applications in phosphor technology. 相似文献
