Effects of porous medium have been investigated on the steady flow of a third grade fluid between two stationary porous plates. The continuity and momentum equations along with modified Darcy??s law are used for the development of mathematical problem. The governing nonlinear problem is solved by a homotopy analysis method. An efficient, three‐component strategy for synthesis of 1,3‐thiazines with high atom economy in one‐pot mediated by room temperature basic ionic liquid is described here. The strategy involves basic ionic liquid, [bmim]OH‐catalyzed Knoevenagel condensation between ethyl cyanoacetate and aromatic aldehyde and subsequent thia‐Michael addition with substituted thioureas. The reaction sequence is smooth and quantitative under ambient temperature. [bmim]OH was recovered and reused four times without any appreciable decrease in its reactivity and product yield. 相似文献

Spectrophotometric study of competitive complex formation equilibria involving overlapped spectral responding species applying a simple and versatile algorithm was carried out. The algorithm involves multivariable regression for calculation of equilibrium concentrations from multiwavelength data and mass action law for the stability constant calculation. The used regression functions are part of common statistical software. Stability constants and complex stoichiometry of competing equilibria were simultaneously determined. The species concentration profiles at several spectral overlapping and ??-coefficient of competing reaction were obtained. Non-absorbing bismuth ?? pyrophosphate (PPh) system was studied as a competitive reaction of bismuth ?? 4-(2-Pyridylazo) resorcinol (PAR) complex. The formation of Bi-PPh complex with 1:1 stoichiometry was proved in the studied concentration region (CBi = 1×10?5 mol L?1; CPPh = 5×10?6 ? 1×10?4 mol L?1). The stability constant of the complex at pH 1 and ?? = 1.0 have been determined: log?? = 4.2±0.2. 相似文献

The influence of heat transfer on the steady flow of a fourth‐grade fluid between two stationary parallel porous plates is studied. The flow is engendered under the application of a constant pressure gradient. The concept of homotopy analysis method is utilized for the series solution of the governing problem. Numerical solution has been also carried out. In addition, both analytic and numerical solutions are compared. In the present article, radiative Sutterby nanofluid flow over a stretchable cylinder is considered. The suspended swimming microorganisms have been deliberated in the fluid analysis. Different processes such as Brownian motion, thermophoresis, Joules heating, and viscous dissipation have been inspected in the presences of stratification parameters. The solutions for flow profiles have been obtained via optimal homotopy analysis method. Impacts of different physical involved variables on non-dimensional velocity, temperature, nanofluid concentration, and concentration of density of swimming microorganisms have been debated. Coefficient of skin friction, local Nusselt number, Sherwood number, and density of motile organisms have been calculated. The results reveal that Sutterby fluid parameter enhances the skin friction and has a reverse impact on the velocity, while an increase in stratification causes a declination in the flow boundary layers. The temperature of the flow is also seen to be boosted by the increment in Brownian motion parameter. Analysis of entropy generation shows that the concentration difference parameter maximizes the entropy and minimizes the dimensionless Bejan number. 相似文献

In this article, a synthesis of N’-(benzylidene)-2-(6-methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinolin-1-yl)acetohydrazides and their structural interpretation by NMR experiments is described in an attempt to explain the duplication of some peaks in their 1H- and 13C-NMR spectra. Twenty new 6-methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinoline substituted N-acylhydrazones 6(a–t) were synthesized from 2-chloro-6-methylquinoline-3-carbaldehyde (1) in four steps. 2-Chloro-6-methylquinoline-3-carbaldehyde (1) afforded 6-methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinoline (2), which upon N-alkylation yielded 2-(6-methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinolin-1-yl)acetate (3). The hydrazinolysis of 3 followed by the condensation of resulting 2-(6-methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinolin-1-yl)acetohydrazide (4) with aromatic aldehydes gave N-acylhydrazones 6(a–t). Structures of the synthesized compounds were established by readily available techniques such as FT-IR, NMR and mass spectral studies. The stereochemical behavior of 6(a–t) was studied in dimethyl sulfoxide-d6 solvent by means of 1H NMR and 13C NMR techniques at room temperature. NMR spectra revealed the presence of N’-(benzylidene)-2-(6-methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinolin-1-yl)acetohydrazides as a mixture of two conformers, i.e., E(C=N)(N-N) synperiplanar and E(C=N)(N-N) antiperiplanar at room temperature in DMSO-d6. The ratio of both conformers was also calculated and E(C=N) (N-N) syn-periplanar conformer was established to be in higher percentage in equilibrium with the E(C=N) (N-N) anti-periplanar form. 相似文献

Environment-friendly procedures for determination of nutritious and harmful elements in curcuma longa L. and commercially available turmeric powder are presented. Microwave and ultrasound (probe and bath) procedures for sample preparations were adopted and the elements were determined by validated flame atomic absorption and inductively coupled plasma–optical emission spectrometry. Student’s t-test was established whether there was a difference between the sample preparation methods. Trueness of certified values by all methods was ensured which were not differing significantly at 95% level of confidence interval. % recovery and relative standard deviation are in compliance with Food and Drug Administration-USA guidelines for spectrometric determination of elemental composition in food stuffs. Results showed that concentrations of copper, iron, manganese, and zinc found in both types of samples are promising source of nutrition. Exposure to aluminum, cadmium, and lead from consumption of products under investigation was estimated and few sample contents were higher than permissible level suggested by Food and Agriculture Organization-UN. Regarding the food safety monitoring, the proposed methods are rapid and met green chemistry approach can be implemented in laboratories easily for routine analysis. 相似文献

In search of anti-inflammatory compounds, novel scaffolds containing isonicotinoyl motif were synthesized via an efficient strategy. The compounds were screened for their in vitro anti-inflammatory activity. Remarkably high activities were observed for isonicotinates 5–6 and 8a–8b. The compound 5 exhibits an exceptional IC50 value (1.42 ± 0.1 µg/mL) with 95.9% inhibition at 25 µg/mL, which is eight folds better than the standard drug ibuprofen (11.2 ± 1.9 µg/mL). To gain an insight into the mode of action of anti-inflammatory compounds, molecular docking studies were also performed. Decisively, further development and fine tuning of these isonicotinates based scaffolds for the treatment of various aberrations is still a wide-open field of research. 相似文献
