Mechanism of Deuterium Distribution in Ethanols

Deuterium distribution in ethanols produced by sulfuric acid hydration of ethylene was studied by quantitative NMR spectroscopy.     

Polynuclear nonfused tetrazole-, 1,3,4-oxadiazole-, and 1,2,3-triazole-containing systems

Polynuclear nonfused blocks containing 1,2,3-triazole, 1,3,4-oxadiazole, and tetrazole rings were synthesized by reaction of C-substituted tetrazoles with carboxylic acid chlorides, as well as by cycloaddition of 2-azidomethyl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles at the triple bond of acetylenic compounds.     

Trialkylaminopropargylgermanes

Influence of the structure of oxirane-containing compounds on curing of poly-<Emphasis Type="Italic">N</Emphasis>-methyl-5-vinyltetrazole

Comparative analysis of the curing performance of epoxy-containing cross-linking agents of different structure in vulcanization of a promising binder for energetic systems, poly-N-methyl-5-vinyltetrazole prepared by the modification procedure and containing residual N–H-unsubstituted tetrazole fragments, was made. Cross-linking of polymer chains of the binder is a result of alkylation of the residual N–H-unsubstituted tetrazole rings in poly-N-methyl-5-vinyltetrazole macromolecules with oxirane rings of the second reactant. Curing of poly-N-methyl-5-vinyltetrazole in the presence of macromolecular curing agents, carbon-chain polymers containing oxirane rings in pendant chains, at temperatures lower than 100°С occurs in a considerably narrower time interval compared to curing with low-molecular-mass epoxy resin.     

Synthesis of <Emphasis Type="Italic">N</Emphasis>-(oxiran-2-ylmethyl)-5-phenyltetrazole and its reactions with nitrogen nucleophiles

The synthesis of N-(oxiran-2-ylmethyl)-5-phenyltetrazole was optimized, and its reactions with various nitrogen nucleophiles afforded bicyclic amino alcohols, including those containing an azole ring.     

The Structure of Pd2(CH≡CC6H5)2(C5H7O2)3(BF3)2BF4

IR and NMR data showed that the ionic complex Pd₂(CHCC₆H₅)₂(C₅H₇O₂)₃(BF₃)₂BF₄ isolated in the reaction Pd(Acac)₂ + PA + 5BF₃OEt₂ (Acac is C₅H₇O₂, PA is phenylacetylene) is an adduct of two complexes, namely, (Acac)PdBF₄ and [(PA)₂Pd(C³-Acac · BF₃)]⁺(Acac · BF₃)^– (coordinatively unsaturated). On dissolution in deuteroacetone or deuteromethanol, the [(Acac)PdF₂BF₂Pd(C³-Acac · BF₃)(PA)₂]⁺(Acac · BF₃)^– adduct decomposed to Pd(Acac)₂, 2BF₃ · L (L = (CD₃)₂CO, CD₃OD) and the [L(PA)₂Pd(C³-Acac]⁺BF₄ ^– complex.
