A string of four new hetero binuclear Ru(III) complexes of ferrocenecarboxaldehyde-4(N)-substituted thiosemicarbazones were synthesized and characterized by various spectral (infrared, ultraviolet–visible, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) and High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HR-MS) techniques. The binding abilities of the ligands/complexes with nucleic acid (calf thymus DNA, CT-DNA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) were analyzed by absorption and emission titration methods. The complexes exhibited better DNA binding affinity than their parent ligands. The interaction with CT-DNA was found to be intercalative and with BSA static quenching mechanism was observed. All the synthesized Ru(III) complexes were subjected to study their in vitro cytotoxicity against MCF-7 (human breast cancer) and HT-29 (human colon cancer) cell lines. Among the four complexes, complex 3 [RuCp (FF-etsc)PPh3]Cl exhibited the highest cytotoxicity in MCF-7 cells and complex 4 [RuCp (FF-ptsc)PPh3]Cl was the most active on HT-29 cells. 相似文献

A novel and convergent palladium catalyzed synthesis of 2-arylbenzothiazoles has been investigated. The key step in the synthesis is a Suzuki biaryl coupling of 2-bromobenzothiazole with aryl boronic acids to provide a variety of 2-arylbenzothiazole derivatives in good yield. The synthetic utility of this methodology is demonstrated by the synthesis of 2-(4-aminophenyl)-6-methoxybenzothiazole, a PET probe precursor for the in vivo imaging of Alzheimer's disease. 相似文献

Two bis(bipyridine) polymeric metal nitrate complexes
with 4,4’-bipyridine of simple formula like [M(bipy)2](NO3)2⋅xH2O (where M=Co, Ni and Cu; x=4, 2 and 0, respectively) have been prepared and
characterized. Their thermal decomposition has been undertaken using simultaneous
TG-DTG-DTA and DSC in nitrogen atmosphere and non-isothermal TG in air atmosphere.
Isothermal TG has been performed at decomposition temperature range of the
complexes to evaluate the kinetics of decomposition by applying model-fitting
as well as isoconversional method. Possible mechanistic pathways have also
been proposed for the thermolysis. Ignition delay measurements have been carried
out to investigate the response of these complexes under the condition of

A novel chemo- and diastereoselective aerobic epoxidation of the N-cinnamoyl peptides catalyzed by polyaniline-supported cobalt(II) salen (PASCOS) is described. The N-cinnamoyl proline derived peptides 1 show a high pi-facial selectivity during these epoxidations. The origin of this diastereoselectivity in 1 has been attributed to (i) the propensity of the N-cinnamoyl proline amide to exist predominantly as trans rotamer in CDCl3, DMSO-d6, and CH3CN medium and (ii) existence of these peptides as organized structures (gamma- and beta-turns) due to the presence of intramolecular hydrogen bonds. An extensive solution NMR and MD simulation study on 1d and 1f indicates that the origin of the high pi-facial selectivity is due to the well-defined gamma- and beta-turns which result in the hindrance of one face of the cinnamoyl double bond in the transition state of the epoxidation reaction. 相似文献

A new chelating polymeric sorbent has been developed using Merrifield chloromethylated resin anchored with di-bis (2-ethylhexyl) malonamide (DB2EHM). The modified resin was characterized by CPMAS NMR spectroscopy, FT-NIR-FIR spectroscopy, CHN elemental analysis and also by thermo gravimetric analysis. The fabricated sorbent showed superior binding affinity for U(VI) over Th(IV) and other diverse ions, even under high acidities. Various physio-chemical parameters, like solution acidity, phase exchange kinetics, metal sorption capacity, electrolyte tolerance studies, etc., influencing the resin’s metal extractive behavior were studied by both static and dynamic method. Batch extraction studies performed over a wide range of solution acidity (0.01-10 M) revealed that selective extraction of U(VI) could be achieved even up to 4 M acidity with distribution ratios (D) in the order of ∼103. The phase exchange kinetics studies performed for U(VI) and Th(IV) revealed that time duration of <15 min was sufficient for >99.5% extraction. But similar studies when preformed for trivalent lanthanides gave very low D values (<50), with the extraction time extending up to 60 min. The metal sorption studies performed for U(VI) and Th(IV) at 5 M HNO3 was found to be 62.5 and 38.2 mg g−1,respectively. Extraction efficiency in the presence of inferring electrolyte species and inorganic cations were also examined. Metal ion desorption was effective using 10-15 mL of 1 M (NH4)2CO3 or 0.5 M α-hydroxy isobutyric acid (HIBA). Extraction studies performed on a chromatographic column at 5 M acidity were found to give enrichment factor values of 310 and 250 for U(VI) and Th(IV), respectively. The practical utility of the fabricated chelating sorbent and its efficiency to extract actinides from acidic waste streams was tested using a synthetic nuclear spent fuel solution. In this Letter, we describe the unexpected reaction pattern of N,N′N″-tri-Boc-guanidine (TBG) with amines at room temperature and under reflux conditions affording N-substituted guanidines and amidinoureas, potentially important compounds with extensive applications in medicinal chemistry. This investigation shows that TBG is an excellent, readily available common starting material for the synthesis of various N-alkyl guanidines as well as N-alkyl-N′-substituted amidinoureas by simply manipulating the reaction conditions. 相似文献

A new heterocyclic Schiff bases, 6‐methyl/8methyl‐2‐oxo‐1,2‐dihydroquinoline‐3‐carboxaldehyde semicarbazones (H2‐6MOQsc‐H) ( H 2 L 1 ) and (H2‐8MOQsc‐H) ( H 2 L 2 ) and their corresponding copper(II) complexes [CuCl2(H2‐6MOQsc‐H)].3H2O ( 1 ), [CuCl2(H2‐8MOQsc‐H)].3H2O ( 2 ), [CuNO3(H2‐6MOQsc‐H)(H2O)].NO3 ( 3 ) and [CuNO3(H2‐8MOQsc‐H)(H2O)].NO3 ( 4 ) have been synthesized and characterized by various physicochemical techniques. The single crystal X‐ray diffraction and spectral data revealed that all of the complexes ( 1‐4 ), the ligands coordinated to the Cu(II) ion in a neutral manner via ONO donor atoms and all the complexes exhibited distorted squarepyramidal geometry. The consequence of electronegativity and ring size of nitrogen heterocyclic moiety of ONO donor type of copper(II) chelates on nucleic acid interaction and albumin binding was investigated by in vitro experiments. The interaction of compounds with calf‐thymus DNA (CT‐DNA) has been explored by absorption and emission titration, which exposed those ligands/complexes, could bind with CT‐DNA through electrostatic interaction. The results of gel electrophoresis proved the ability of complexes ( 1‐4 ) to cleave the pBR322 plasmid DNA. The interaction of serum albumin (BSA) was investigated by UV‐Vis, fluorescence, synchronous and three dimensional fluorescence spectra. In addition, radical scavenging activity, antifungal activity and cytotoxicity of the newly synthesized compounds were also evaluated.
