The time delay experiment proposed by I.I. Shapiro in 1964 and conducted in the seventies was the most precise experiment of general relativity until that time. Further experimentation has improved the accuracy level of both the time delay and the light deflection experiments. A simulation model is proposed that involves only a simple mass and time transformation factor involving velocity of light. The light deflection and the time delay experiments are numerically simulated using this model that does not use the general relativistic equations. The computed values presented in this paper compare well with recent levels of accuracy of their respective experimental results.  相似文献

A solid-phase synthesis of 2, 4, 8-substituted pyrimidino[5, 4-d]pyrimidines involving three controlled S(N)Ar reactions has been developed. Exploration of different heterocyclic starting materials and resin-bound intermediates is highlighted. The preferred method starts with the treatment of resin-bound anilines with 2, 4, 8-trichloropyrimidino[5, 4-d]pyrimidine. This intermediate is subsequently treated with various amines in two steps to yield the final products. The scope of each diversity step was determined and a library of 16, 000 compounds was synthesized.  相似文献

The solid-phase synthesis of a 4500-member (30 x 15 x 10) tyrphostin library is demonstrated utilizing the Irori-directed sorting system. Fmoc-protected PL-Rink resin was used as the solid support. After Fmoc-deprotection, aryl aldehydes were attached to the resin through reductive amination. Acylation of the resulting secondary amines with cyanoacetic acid was followed by a Knoevenagel condensation with phenolic aldehydes. Mitsunobu coupling of primary alcohols to the resin-bound phenols yielded the final library of compounds 1.  相似文献

A novel solid-phase synthesis of 4-biaryl-piperidine-4-carboxamides has been developed using FDMP resin with a carboxamide as the anchor point. We present two new variants of Schur complement domain decompositionpreconditioners suitable for 2D anisotropic problems. Thesevariants are based on adaptations of the probing idea, describedby Chan et al (1992 Fifth Int. Symp. on Domain DecompositionMethods for Partial Differential Equations, Philadelphia: SIAM,pp 236-249), used in conjunction with a coarse grid approximationas introduced by Bramble et al (1986 Math. Comput. 47, 103-134).The new methods are specifically designed for situations wherethe coupling between neighbouring interfaces is stronger thanthe coupling within an interface. Taking into account this strongcoupling, one variant uses a multicolour probing technique toavoid distortion in the probe approximations that appear whenusing the method proposed by Chan et al. The second techniqueuses additional probe matrices to approximate not only the couplingwithin the interfaces but also the coupling between interfacepoints across the subdomains. This latter procedure looks somewhatlike an alternating line relaxation method for anisotropic problems,see Brandt (1977 Math. Comput.. 31, 333-390). To assess therelevance of the new preconditioners, we compare their numericalbehaviour with well known robust preconditioners such as thebalanced Neumann-Neumann method proposed by Mandel (1993 Commun.Numer. Primary amines were immobilized on (4-formyl-3,5-dimethoxyphenoxy)methylpolystyrene resin via reductive amination. Attachment of two different 4-chloro-2-methylthiopyrimidines, followed by sulfide oxidation, led to their corresponding sulfone intermediates. Aromatic nucleophilic substitution with various anilines or heteroaromatic amines in the presence of trimethyl aluminum afforded the desired 2,4-diaminopyrimidines after acidic cleavage from the resin. The synthetic methodology described herein was validated with the synthesis of a small 162-member library.  相似文献

The synthesis of a library of N-alkylated O-arylated hydroxyproline derivatives has been achieved on solid phase. The choice of O-protection and the optimization of the Mitsunobu reaction involving a secondary alcohol were key to the success of this synthesis. First, acylation of resin-bound amines with N-Fmoc-O-THP-hydroxyproline was accomplished readily. Subsequent deprotection of the Fmoc and reductive amination with different aldehydes resulted in the tertiary amine intermediate. The deprotection of the THP group by p-toluenesulfonic acid was followed by a Mitsunobu reaction with a series of phenols. Finally, the products were cleaved from the resin using trifluoroacetic acid to produce a 10 200 member library.  相似文献

The ‘anomalous perihelion precession’ of Mercury, announced by Le Verrier in 1859, was a highly controversial topic for more than half a century and invoked many alternative theories until 1916, when Einstein presented his theory of general relativity as an alternative theory of gravitation and showed perihelion precession to be one of its potential manifestations. As perihelion precession was a directly derived result of the full General Theory and not just the Equivalence Principle, Einstein viewed it as the most critical test of his theory. This paper presents the computed value of the anomalous perihelion precession of Mercury's orbit using a new relativistic simulation model that employs a simple transformation factor for mass and time, proposed in an earlier paper. This computed value compares well with the prediction of general relativity and is, also, in complete agreement with the observed value within its range of uncertainty. No general relativistic equations have been used for computing the results presented in this paper.  相似文献

Pyrrolidin-2-one (gamma-lactam) derivatives have shown a wide range of activities as ligands to diverse receptors, e.g., integrin, CCR5, and CCK. Therefore, we have prepared a large library of these derivatives for high-throughput screening against various protein targets, after developing a synthesis of pyrrolidin-2-ones on solid phase. Exploration of the ring formation was key to the success of this synthesis. First, acylation of resin-bound amines with N-Fmoc-protected amino acids and subsequent deprotection of the Fmoc group were accomplished readily. The resulting resin-bound primary amines were treated with beta-monomethyl itaconate under gentle heat in a mixture of methanol and toluene to yield the desired intermediates. Finally, saponification, amide formation, and cleavage from the resin led to the production of a library of 12,000 pyrrolidin-2-one derivatives. These products were isolated as diastereomeric mixtures of high purity and were obtained in good yields.  相似文献
