High-temperature series expansions of the susceptibility and second moment to 15th order are calculated for zero external field on the linear chain (LC), plane square (PSQ), simple cubic (SC), and body-centered cubic (BCC) lattices. The precision of intensity modulated fiber optic sensor systems mainly is restricted by the attenuation characteristics of the analog fiber optical data link. Special encoding and referencing schemes are used to overcome this data link dependence. In this paper encoding and referencing principles for optical sensors are outlined and compared. Especially the two wavelengths referencing and the optical delay line processing techniques are discussed in more detail and results are presented.  相似文献

We derive and analyse four algorithms for computing the current induced on a thin straight wire by a transient electric field. They all involve solving the thin wire electric field integral equations (EFIEs) and consist of a very accurate differential equations solver together with various schemes to approximate the vector potential integral equation. We carry out a rigorous numerical stability analysis of each of these methods. This has not previously been done for solution schemes for the thin wire EFIEs. Each scheme is shown to be stable and convergent provided the radius of the wire is small enough for the thin wire equations to be a valid model.  相似文献

In parts I, II, and III combined of this paper, we define a notion of viscosity solution for these equations and existence is proved by a Perron-like method. Here, in part I, we prove useful identities, and a maximum-like principle for smooth sub(super) solutions of the standard wave equation. It is shown that the existence of a current in the external circuit of a double insulated probe without electrical bias between its electrodes is evidence of the presence of a stream (beam) of charged particles in a plasma. The species of particles forming a beam in a plasma, the direction and divergence of the beam, and information on the distribution of the current density over the beam cross section in the plasma can be obtained by determining the direction and strength of the current in the external circuit of the probe as it is positioned at various sites in the investigated system. The thermal stability and thermal decomposition pathways for synthesized composite iowaite/woodallite have been determined using thermogravimetry analysis in conjunction with evolved gas mass spectrometry. Dehydration of the hydrotalcites occurred over a range of 56–70°C. The first dehydroxylation step occurred at around 255°C and, with the substitution of more iron(III) for chromium(III) this temperature increased to an upper limit of 312°C. This trend was observed throughout all decomposition steps. The release of carbonate ions as carbon dioxide gas initialised at just above 300°C and was always accompanied by loss of hydroxyl units as water molecules. The initial loss of the anion in this case the chloride ion was consistently observed to occur at about 450°C with final traces evolved at 535 to 780°C depending of the Fe:Cr ratio and was detected as HCl (m/z=36). Thus for this to occur, hydroxyl units must have been retained in the structure at temperatures upwards of 750°C. Experimentally it was found difficult to keep CO2 from reacting with the compounds and in this way the synthesized iowaite-woodallite series somewhat resembled the natural minerals.  相似文献

The values of the second dissociation constant, pK 2, for the dissociation of the NH+ charge center of the zwitterionic buffer compounds 4-(N-morpholino)butanesulfonic acid (MOBS), and N-(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine-N-4-butanesulfonic acid (HEPBS) have been determined from 5 to 55°C, including, 37°C at intervals of 5°C. The electromotive-force (emf) measurements have been made utilizing hydrogen electrodes and silver–silver chloride electrodes. The value of pK 2 for MOBS was found to be 7.702 ± 0.0005, and 8.284 ± 0.0004 for HEPBS, at 25°C, respectively. The related thermodynamic quantities, G o, H o, S o, and C p o for the dissociation processes of MOBS and HEPBS have been derived from the temperature coefficients of pK 2. Both the MOBS and HEPBS buffer materials are useful as primary pH standards for the control of pH 7.3 to 8.6 in the region close to that of physiological fluids.  相似文献

The performance of various enhanced extraction techniques, such as accelerated solvent extraction, microwave-assisted extraction, Soxhlet extraction, ultrasonic extraction and fluidized-bed extraction for the determination of polychlorinated organic compounds in dry sediment was investigated in two laboratories. The results of the two laboratories were in good agreement. The extraction yields from the batch extraction methods were lower than those from the dynamic techniques. Accelerated solvent extraction, especially, exhibited higher extraction efficiency than the standard procedure, Soxhlet extraction, whereas the results of fluidized-bed extraction were comparable.  相似文献
