Liquid-crystal 2-cyano-5-[p-alkyl(alkoxy)phenyl]pyridines were synthesized by the reaction of 1-dimethylamino-3-dimethylimmonia-2-[p-alkyl (alkoxy)phenyl]propene perchlorates with 2-acetylfuran and subsequently through 2-furyl-5-[p-alkyl(alkoxy)phenyl]pyrylium perchlorates and 2- (2-furyl)-5-[p-alkyl (alkoxy)phenyl]pyridines by conversion of the latter to 5-alkyl(alkoxy)phenylpyridine-2-carboxylic acids, from which the cyano derivatives were obtained by the usual scheme through the amides. A method is described for the preparation of cationic latices comprising submicron hollow particles for a possible application as a thermally stable polymeric pigment in coatings or pigmented compositions on the basis of thermosetting polymers cured at temperatures up to 170–190 °C. The method is based on the deposition of melamine–formaldehyde resin in the form of cationic colloid onto anionic hollow particles resulting in the recharging of anionic hollow particles and the formation of an outer melamine shell, which provides thermal stability of the hollow particles at curing and application of pigmented coatings and compositions. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The primary cosmic ray energy spectrum at energies of 1015 to 5 × 1017 eV is presented using the results from observations by the Tien Shan HADRON array. The spectrum was obtained from the spectrum of showers according to the number of electrons using a new way of determining the parameter of spatial distribution function S of electrons. The energy spectrum can be extended to low energies up to 2 × 1013 eV using data from separate experiments at the former Tien Shan array. Conclusions are drawn regarding changes in the form of the spectrum and its chemical composition at energies over 1016 eV. The spectrum is compared to the results from the TUNKA installation. 相似文献

Based on experimental data obtained by the GAMMA array for the knee energy region, an anomaly is found in the mass composition of primary cosmic rays arriving from the region of the Vela cluster. An original difference method is used that offers high sensitivity, protection against accidental experimental errors, and the ability to separate anomalies associated with the laboratory coordinate system from those in celestial coordinates. Allowing for the multiple scattering of charged particles in the galactic magnetic fields allows parts of the sky not directly visible from the array to be studied. 相似文献

Hydrogels synthesized based on cross-linked copolymers of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate and functional monomers (acrylic acid
or dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate), having a memory effect with respect to target medicine (cefazolin), have been investigated
by small-angle neutron scattering. The hydrogels are found to have a two-level structural organization: large (up to 100 nm)
aggregates filled with network cells (4–7 nm in size). The structural differences in the anionic, cationic, and amphiphilic
hydrogels and the relationship between their structure and the ability of hydrogels to absorb moisture are shown. A relationship
between the memory effect during cefazolin immobilization and the internal structure of hydrogels, depending on their composition
