A series of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) complexes of a tridentate hydrazone were prepared and characterized by various spectro‐analytical techniques and magnetic moment studies. The complexes were found to be monomeric and non‐electrolytes. The copper complex is electrochemically active in the applied potential range. The compounds synthesized in the present study have shown promising antiproliferative activity when screened using the in vitro method against two human cancer cell lines: HeLa and HepG2. The Escherichia coli DNA‐binding properties of all the compounds were investigated with UV–visible absorption spectrophotometric titrations, viscosity measurements, DNA melting experiments and gel electrophoreses measurements. The compounds were demonstrated to act as DNA intercalators with appreciable DNA‐binding constant values. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Ultrafast (UF) 2D NMR is a very promising methodology enabling the acquisition of 2D spectra in a single scan. In the last few years, the analytical performance of UF 2D NMR has been highly increased, consequently maximizing its range of applications. However, its implementation and use by non‐specialists are far from being straightforward, because of the specific acquisition and processing procedures and parameters characterizing UF NMR. To make this methodology implementable and applicable by non‐specialists, we developed a simple routine capable of translating conventional parameters (spectral widths and transmitter frequencies) into specific UF parameters (gradient and chirp pulse parameters). This macro was subsequently implemented in a Web page, which is available for external users. Although the algorithm was designed for two widely used 2D experiments, COSY and HSQC, it can easily be extended to any other pulse sequence. The robustness of this routine was verified successfully on a variety of small molecules. We believe that this tool will eliminate much of the technical difficulties related to UF 2D NMR and will make the technique accessible to a wider audience of organic and analytical chemists. Zirconium oxide (ZrO2) is acquiring considerable attention of most of the research groups and leading to a large number of publications due to its unique properties, especially in the context of emerging trends in the third generation of solar cell research. ZrO2 films offer magnificent aspects related to physicochemical properties, and the properties are found to be dependent on synthesis methods. In the present review, various deposition techniques used to grow zirconium oxide thin films and their application to enhance the quantum efficiency of titanium oxide (TiO2) based dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are discussed. Also, the modulated performances of DSSCs fabricated by growing the conformal ZrO2 insulating films to retard interfacial recombination dynamics on preformed TiO2 films are discussed. 相似文献

Quantitative Ultrafast (UF) 2D NMR is a very promising methodology enabling the acquisition of 2D spectra in a single scan. The analytical performances of UF 2D NMR have been highly increased in the last few years, however little is known about the sensitivity of ultrafast experiments versus conventional 2D NMR. A fair and relevant comparison has to consider the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) per unit of time, in order to answer the following question: for a given experiment time, should we run a conventional 2D experiment or is it preferable to accumulate ultrafast acquisitions? To answer this question, we perform here a systematic comparison between accumulated ultrafast experiments and conventional ones, for different experiment durations. Sensitivity issues and other analytical aspects are discussed for the COSY experiment in the context of quantitative analysis. The comparison is first carried out on a model sample, and then extended to model metabolic mixtures. The results highlight the high analytical performance of the "multi-scan single shot" approach versus conventional 2D NMR acquisitions. This result is attributed to the absence of t(1) noise in spatially encoded experiments. The multi-scan single shot approach is particularly interesting for quantitative applications of 2D NMR, whose occurrence in the literature has been greatly increasing in the last few years. 相似文献

In this paper authors prove a general theorem on generating relations for a certain sequence of functions. Many formulas involving the families of generating functions for generalized hypergeometric polynomials are shown here to be special cases of a general class of generating functions involving generalized hypergeometric polynomials and multiple hypergeometric series of several variables. It is then shown how the main result can be applied to derive a large number of generating functions involving hypergeometric functions of Kampé de Fériet, Srivastava, Srivastava-Daoust, Chaundy, Fasenmyer, Cohen, Pasternack, Khandekar, Rainville and other multiple Gaussian hypergeometric polynomials scattered in the literature of special functions. 相似文献

A precise and accurate liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometric (LC–MS/MS) bioanalytical method has been developed and validated for the simultaneous quantification of WCK 4234 and meropenem (MEM) in dog plasma. Protein precipitation using acetonitrile was employed as a sample preparation approach. Cefepime was used as an internal standard. The developed method was selective, sensitive (limit of quantification, 0.075 μg/ml for both drugs), accurate (recovery > 90%), precise (CV < 10%) and linear (r2 ≥ 0.99, concentration range 0.075–120 μg/ml for both analytes). The developed method was successfully applied for the determination of both drugs in plasma to assess the pharmacokinetics in beagle dogs. WCK 4234 + MEM in a 1:1 ratio at 15 + 15 and 30 + 30 mg/kg doses were administered by the intravenous route. The mean plasma concentration and area under the concentration–time curve of WCK 4234 ranged from 38.3 to 77.4 μg/ml and from 47.8 to 77.1 μg h/ml, respectively, and the values for MEM ranged from 52.2 to 115.3 μg/ml and 70.5 to 133.6 μg h/ml respectively. The elimination half-life of WCK 4234 and MEM was around 0.8 h. 相似文献
