A string of four new hetero binuclear Ru(III) complexes of ferrocenecarboxaldehyde-4(N)-substituted thiosemicarbazones were synthesized and characterized by various spectral (infrared, ultraviolet–visible, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) and High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HR-MS) techniques. The binding abilities of the ligands/complexes with nucleic acid (calf thymus DNA, CT-DNA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) were analyzed by absorption and emission titration methods. The complexes exhibited better DNA binding affinity than their parent ligands. The interaction with CT-DNA was found to be intercalative and with BSA static quenching mechanism was observed. All the synthesized Ru(III) complexes were subjected to study their in vitro cytotoxicity against MCF-7 (human breast cancer) and HT-29 (human colon cancer) cell lines. Among the four complexes, complex 3 [RuCp (FF-etsc)PPh3]Cl exhibited the highest cytotoxicity in MCF-7 cells and complex 4 [RuCp (FF-ptsc)PPh3]Cl was the most active on HT-29 cells.  相似文献

Results from Super-Kamiokande-I’s entire 1496 live days of solar neutrino data are presented, including the absolute flux, energy spectrum, zenith angle (day/night) and seasonal variation. The possibility of MSW and vacuum oscillations is discussed in light of these results. Results from the first 1289 days of Super-K-I’s atmospheric neutrino analysis are also presented, including the evidence for νμν τ oscillations, against νμ → νsterile oscillations, and the current limits on proton decay. Finally, results based on 56 × 1019 protons on target are given for the K2K long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiment.  相似文献

Five different polyaniline salts have been prepared by chemical polymerization of aniline in aqueous solution of different acids. The polyaniline base was obtained from the corresponding polyaniline salt by dedoping using aqueous ammonium hydroxide solution. Electron paramagnetic, electronic absorption, infrared spectral and conductivity measurements have been performed on the polyaniline salts and polyaniline bases. This composition and the extent of dopant in polyaniline salt systems have been determined. There is no definite correlation between the conductivity and the stoichiometric ratio between the polyaniline base and the acid, and also the spin concentration.  相似文献

The problem of slow streaming flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past a spheroid which departs but little in shape from a sphere with mixed slip-stick boundary conditions, is investigated. The explicit expression for the stream function is obtained to the first order in the small parameter characterising the deformation. The case of an oblate spheroid is considered as a particular example and the force on this non-spherical body is evaluated. It is found that the parameter 1, which arises in connection with the boundary condition, has significant effect upon the hydrodynamic force. In fact, it is shown that, the force is a quadratic function of this parameter up to the first order of deformation. Also, it is observed that the drag in the present case is less than that of the Stokes resistance for a slightly oblate spheroid. Some other special cases are also deduced from the present result. A brief discussion of the results to other body shapes is presented.  相似文献

Polyaniline–oxalic acid salts were prepared at 5 and 30°C by chemical polymerization of aniline using different concentration of oxalic acid. Polyaniline base was obtained from the corresponding polyaniline salt by dedoping using aqueous ammonium hydroxide solution. Conductivity measurements, elemental analysis, Infrared, electronic absorption, electron paramagnetic resonance spectral, and thermogravimetric analysis were performed on the polyaniline salts and bases. Composition and the extent of dopant in polyaniline salt systems where determined. The value of composition of polyaniline: oxalic acid is 4: 1.6 and the polymer yield is around 66%. The value of conductivity, polymer yield and composition of polyaniline–oxalic acid salt is independent of concentration of oxalic acid used and also the synthesis temperature. The results are compared with polyaniline–hydrochloride salt prepared by chemical polymerization. The conductivity of polyaniline–oxalic acid salt is three orders of magnitude lower than that of polyaniline-hydrocholoride salt. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Aniline was polymerized directly into polyaniline‐sulfate salt without using protonic acid in this work. Polyaniline‐sulfate salt was prepared by emulsion and aqueous polymerization pathways. The dopant i.e. sulfate ion in polyaniline‐sulfate salt was generated from ammonium persulfate which was used for oxidizing aniline. Ammonium persulfate acts both as oxidizing agent as well as protonating agent in the polymerization process of aniline to polyaniline salt. The efficiency of oxidizing and protonating power of ammonium persulfate is increased by the use of surfactant. The activity of ammonium persulfate is further increased by the use of sulfuric acid as protonic acid. It may be necessary to consider the effect of sulfate ion which is generated during the oxidation process of aniline in the chemical polymerization of aniline to polyaniline salt by ammonium persulfate either aqueous or emulsion polymerization pathway in the presence of protonic acid/functionalized protonic acid. A colorimetric Al3+ sensor based on fluorescence recovery of a conjugated copolymer-ATP complex is proposed. An optimized ratio of two polythiophene (PT) monomers is utilized to synthesize copolymer (CP) that yielded maximized colorimetric response for Al3+ in deionized (DI) and tap water. The electrostatic disassembly of CP-ATP upon addition of Al3+ led to an evident visual color change. The lowest concentration of Al3+ for naked eye observation is around 4 μM, which is below the threshold levels in drinking water according to European Economic Community (EEC) standard. Besides, the proposed assay showed a similar response to Al3+ in tap water. The proposed methodology showed selective and sensitive detection for Al3+ in analytically relevant concentration ranges without involving sophisticated instrumentation, illustrating the applicability for on-site drinking water monitoring.  相似文献
