The bands of the B-X system of BiI have been photographed in the second order of a 35 ft concave grating spectrograph (with a dispersion of 0.33 Åing;/mm and resolution 2 × 180,000). A precise vibrational analysis of this system has been carried out and the vibrational constants WeYe and WeZe for the upper and lower states have been evaluated for the first time. 相似文献

A spectroscopic method for studying quadrupole formation is described, and experimental results are presented for lithium thiocyanate in a tetrahydrofuran/hexane solvent system. From molar absorptivity equations and an equation by Fuoss and Kraus, a direct relationship is derived between the quadrupole formation constant, KQ, and the dielectric constant of the medium. Experimental results are consistent with the equation and allow an estimate of the distance between lithium and thiocyanate in the ion pair. 相似文献

The back cover picture shows an electrochemical strategy for the borylation of aryl iodides via a radical pathway using current as a driving force. This method features mild reaction conditions, good functional groups tolerance, and prompt reaction time. EPR, CV and DPV experiments verified the formation of aryl radicals in this electrochemical borylation reaction, and the current plays an important role in the generation of radical intermediate. Tin dioxide nanoparticles and zinc oxide nanorods were synthesized chemically and thick film gas sensors on alumina substrates
were fabricated of these materials. Morphology and crystallite size of synthesized powders were investigated by TEM. The fabricated
sensors were irradiated with 100 MeV O7+ ions at fluences of 1×1011, 1×1012 and 1×1013 ions/cm2. The X-ray diffraction analysis of the samples before and after ion bombardment was performed for structural characterization.
The sensing response to ethanol before and after irradiation was carried out for each fabricated sensor. Investigation revealed
that irradiated SnO2 based sensor’s response and response time increased significantly. Results show that ZnO based sensor exhibit strong resistance
to damage caused by ion irradiation which might be due to defects annihilation. 相似文献

Owing to its unique physical and chemical properties, graphene has attracted tremendous attention in the preparation of graphene-based composites for various applications. In this study, two different strategies have been developed to load zinc oxide (ZnO) nanorods onto reduced graphene oxide (RGO) sheets, i.e., in situ growth and a self-assembly approach. The microstructure and morphology of the synthesized RGO/ZnO nanocomposites was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) measurements. Fluorescence emission spectra (PL) of RGO/ZnO composites were performed to attribute quality of combination between RGO and ZnO. Significantly enhanced photocatalytic activity of RGO/ZnO nanocomposites in comparison to bare ZnO nanoparticles was revealed by the degradation of methylene blue under irradiation, which can be attributed to the inhibition of electron–hole pair recombination and enhanced adsorption due to the presence of RGO sheets. 相似文献
