A new electron holographic method is presented to directly visualize pure phase objects such as electromagnetic microfields, which is achieved by superposition of two kinds of electron holograms. The method is very simple and is twice as sensitive as the conventional double-exposure electron holography and the four-electron-wave interference. Using this technique, an electric field around a charged latex sphere and a magnetic field around a barium ferrite particle have been directly observed.  相似文献

Abstract— Some immunochemical properties of double-stranded DNA irradiated with UV were studied, using a radioimmunoassay with irradiated [3H]-DNA and experimentally produced antibodies to DNA. Reactivity of antibodies revealed that irradiated DNA contained an immunologically active structure other than the irradiated DNA specific structure, resembling that of thermally denatured DNA. inhibition assay demonstrated that while DNA-antibody binding was effectively inhibited by mixed purine and pyrimidine oligonucleotides, thymine dimer containing pyrimidine oligonucleotides derived from the irradiated DNA showed no appreciable inhibition. The antigenic structure specific for irradiated DNA was found to be thermally labile in low salt medium. Cupric and ferrous ions and cysteine added to the DNA solution inhibited antigenicity formation during irradiation, but these substances exhibited no effect on dimer formation in irradiated frozen thymine solution. Calcium ions and histidine were inert for the former reaction but inhibited the latter effectively. This suggests that different mechanisms are involved in the 2 processes. The immunologically active UV-induced lesions appeared to depend mainly on a conformational structure change of the DNA strands rather than on a single modified base moiety.  相似文献

The importance of semi-direct processes in E1 and E2 capture reactions has been well documented. Little is known, however, about M1 capture although a vast body of data indicates a non-statistical nature. We discuss here the importance of the semi-direct M1 process and concentrate in particular on recent experimental results claiming that the M 1 strength in29Si isnearly one order of magnitude smaller than in 28Si, the target nucleus. We use shell model arguments to demonstrate that this reduction is indeed consistent with the semi-direct reaction process and that other mechanisms like2p-2h fragmentation and phonon coupling are not likely to be instrumental in elucidating further the non-statistical nature of the28Si+n reaction.  相似文献

Some bis(indolizin-1-yl) disulfides, readily obtainable from the treatment of 1-(benzoylthio)indolizines with piperidine, were prepared and their conformations were investigated. In comparison with those of 1-(benzoylthio)indolizines, the (1)H-NMR spectra of these disulfides showed considerable high field shifts (delta 0.13-0.82 ppm) on each pyridine ring proton and the UV spectra exhibited significant bathochromic and hyperchromic shifts. These results supported strongly the participation of an intramolecular pi-pi interaction between the two indolizine rings in these molecules and, hence, of a particular gauche (cis) conformation. However, the conformational considerations and molecular calculations (Mopac PM3) for some bis(indolizin-1-yl) disulfides showed the presence of four more stable gauche forms in which two are enantiomeric, resulting in three types of gauche structures. These three types of gauche structures were confirmed by X-ray analyses.  相似文献

Both induction and inhibition of "preferential enrichment", an unusual symmetry-breaking enantiomeric-resolution phenomenon observed upon simple recrystallization of a certain kind of racemic crystals from organic solvents, have been successfully achieved by controlling the mode of the polymorphic transition during crystallization with appropriate seed crystals. Such control of the polymorphic transition can be interpreted in terms of a novel phenomenon consisting of 1) the adsorption of prenucleation aggregates, 2) the heterogeneous nucleation and crystal growth of a metastable crystalline form, and 3) the subsequent polymorphic transition into the more stable form; these three processes occur on the same surface of a seed crystal. We refer to this phenomenon as an "epitaxial transition", which has been confirmed by means of in situ attenuated total reflection (ATR) FTIR spectroscopy in solution and the solid state, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements of the deposited crystals, and X-ray crystallographic analysis of the single crystals or the direct-space approach employing the Monte Carlo method with the Rietveld refinement for the structure solution from the powder X-ray diffraction data.  相似文献

Copper(II) oleate was coated on a piezoelectric quartz crystal, and the copper removed by passing EDTA solution. The remaining coating reacted with aluminium, copper(II), iron(III) and lead ions in a flowing acidic solution, to form absorbed compounds which changed the frequency of the crystal. Lead (3–40 μM) could be determined at pH 5.5–5.8 with good reproducibility. Interfering metal ions (Al3+, Cu2+, Fe3+) were masked with acetylacetone.  相似文献
