In the title compound, C19H20O8, the benzene rings are nearly perpendicular to each other [dihedral angle 80.2 (2)°]. The carboxy group is twisted out while both the methoxy and acetyl groups are almost coplanar with their attached benzene rings. The hydroxy group is involved in an intramolecular O—H?O hydrogen bond with the acetyl O atom and the compound is connected through an intermolecular O—H?O contact to form a dimer. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular O—H?O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Here, we report template-assisted assembly of emissive carbon quantum dot (CQD) microcrystals on organized cellulose nanocrystals templates at the liquid–air interface. This large-scale assembly is facilitated by the complementary amphiphilic character of CQDs and cellulose nanocrystals in the organized nematic phase. The resulting large microcrystals up to 200 μm across show unusually high emission that is not observed for limited CQDs aggregates. The dense crystal packing of CQDs in the layered fashion suppresses local molecular rotations and vibrations, thus restricting the intermolecular energy transfer and corresponding quenching phenomena. The as-prepared crystals are mechanically stable and can be exploited for recyclable catalysis, enabling applications beyond the individual nanoparticles or disordered aggregates. The ligand-templated assembly can be used to diversify CQD crystal architectures to guide formation of fibers, microplates, and micro-flowers.  相似文献

Molecularly imprinted polymers@ethylenediamine-modified carbon dots grafted on cotton fabrics (MIPs@EDA-CDs/CF) and smartphone-based fluorescence image analysis were proposed and used for the first time for the detection of 17 α-methyltestosterone (MT). The EDA-CDs were synthesized and grafted on cotton fabric before coating with the MIPs. The MIPs were synthesized using the MT as a template molecule, methacrylic acid (MAA) as a functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as a cross-linker, and azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as an initiator. The MIPs@EDA-CDs/CF were characterized using FTIR, SEM-EDS, and RGB fluorescence imaging. The fluorescence images were also taken using a smartphone and the ImageJ program was used for RGB measurement. The Δ red intensity was linearly proportional to MT concentration in the range of 100 to 1000 μg/L (R2 = 0.999) with a detection limit of 44.4 μg/L and quantification limit of 134 μg/L. The MIPs@EDA-CDs/CF could be stored at 4 °C for a few weeks and could be reused twice. The proposed method could apply for the specific determination of MT in water and sediment samples along with satisfactory recoveries of 96–104% and an acceptable relative standard deviation of 1–6% at the ppb level.  相似文献

Ferulic acid (FA) provides broad biological functions that have been used in cosmetics formulation as a photoprotection, anti-aging, and brightening agent. However, its application is limited by its tendency to deteriorate by exposure to heat, humidity, and light. This study aimed to enhance the stability of FA by encapsulation in phosphorylated rice starch (PRS) and evaluate its effect on improving human skin. First, FA was encapsulated in PRS and characterized by FTIR, SEM, XRD, and DSC. Then, its stability when exposed to a temperature of 45 °C and light and its anti-aging effect on 16 volunteers were investigated. The results indicated that FA was successfully encapsulated in PRS with an encapsulation yield of 77%, EE (73%) and LE (65%). After 1 month at the high temperature/80%RH, the encapsulated FA retained its quantity (70%), whereas free FA was retained at only 50%. Under light exposure conditions, the encapsulated FA was retained at 65%, which was higher than FA (35%). Franz diffusion cell was used and demonstrated that PRS provided the controlled release of FA. Application of encapsulated FA and FA creams showed an absence of skin irritation in all volunteers. After 1 month, the encapsulated FA cream was found to be better than the FA cream on skin lightening, elasticity, smoothness, roughness, scaliness, and wrinkle. The results indicated that PRS is a potential wall material for enhancing the stability of FA, resulting in more efficacious skin lightening and anti-aging properties.  相似文献
