We report a new visible-light-mediated carbonylative amidation of aryl, heteroaryl, and alkyl halides. A tandem catalytic cycle of [Ir(ppy)2(dtb-bpy)]+ generates a potent iridium photoreductant through a second catalytic cycle in the presence of DIPEA, which productively engages aryl bromides, iodides, and even chlorides as well as primary, secondary, and tertiary alkyl iodides. The versatile in situ generated catalyst is compatible with aliphatic and aromatic amines, shows high functional-group tolerance, and enables the late-stage amidation of complex natural products.  相似文献

Petroselinum crispum Mill., Fuss., is a culinary vegetable used as an aromatic herb that garnishes and flavours a great variety of dishes. In the present study, the chemical profiles and bioactivities of leaf samples from 25 cultivars (three types: plain- and curly-leafed and turnip-rooted) from this species were assessed. Seven phenolic compounds were identified in all the varieties, including apigenin and kaempherol derivates. Apigenin-O-pentoside-O-hexoside was the major compound in all the tested parsley types (20, 22 and 13 mg/g of extract, respectively) and responsible for its excellent antioxidant activity, also investigated in this study. Antimicrobial activities were also explored, and the results revealed a good bioactivity against specific tested pathogens, such as bacteria and fungi. In conclusion, the leaves of all the types of P. crispum are a good source of natural bioactive compounds that confer health benefits, and thus, they should be part of a balanced and diversified diet.  相似文献

A domino cyclization reaction of the bis-unsaturated ketone 3 with hydroxylamine proceeds with good yield and high stereoselectivity, in a flow reactor system. We report the synthesis of a series of bivalent 1,2,3-triazole linked galactopyranosides as potential inhibitors of cholera toxin (CT). The inhibitory activity of the bivalent series was examined (ELISA) and the series showed low inhibitory activity (millimolar IC(50)s). Conversely, the monomeric galactotriazole analogues were strong inhibitors of cholera toxin (IC(50) = 71-75 μM).  相似文献

The novel metallosurfactant Cu(II)-1-tetradecyldiethylenetriamine (Cu(II)TDET) was prepared, and the hydrolyses of 2-acetoxy-5-nitrobenzoic acid (1), 4-acetoxy-3-nitrobenzoic acid (2), 4-nitrophenyl acetate (3), and 2-nitrophenyl acetate (4) in the presence of micellar Cu(II)TDET were examined. The rate of ester hydrolysis for the series followed the order 1 approximately 2>3>4. The larger observed rate (kpsi) for 1 and 2 was attributed to (i) electrostatic interaction between the carboxylate anion and the cationic metallomicelle surface and (ii) the formation of a ternary complex metal:surfactant ligand:substrate (MLnS). The position of the carboxylate anion in the substrate did not significantly affect catalysis. Similar rates were observed when the carboxylate anion was ortho to the acyl ester 1 or para to the reaction center 2. The absence of a significant difference may be associated with the ternary complex coordination geometry, which unfavorably aligned the ligated substrate and the metal-bound hydroxyl. Mixed micellar solutions containing Cu(II)TDET and MTAB or Triton X-100 were examined. Added cosurfactants have a pronounced effect on the catalytic activity of Cu(II)TDET. At a low concentration of Cu(II)TDET the addition of MTAB or Triton X-100 increased the pseudo-first-order rate constant (kpsi) for the hydrolysis of 1 and 3 relative to the rate in pure Cu(II)TDET. The addition of a cosurfactant increased the total micellar volume (VM), promoting substrate incorporation within the pseudophase. At higher metallosurfactant concentration, the rate enhancement was smaller due to the dilution of the substrate within the co-micellar pseudophase.  相似文献

A strategy for tethering lipid liquid crystalline submicrometer particles (cubosomes) to a gold surface for the detection of proteins is reported. Time-resolved quartz crystal microbalance (QCM-D) was used to monitor the cubosome-protein interaction in real time. To achieve specific binding, cubosomes were prepared from the nonionic surfactant phytantriol, block-copolymer, Pluronic F-127, and a secondary biotinylated lipid, 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[biotinyl(polyethyleneglycol)-2000], which enabled attachment of the particles to a neutravidin (NAv)-alkanethiol monolayer at the gold surface of the QCM sensor chip. A second set of cubosomes was further functionalized with addition of the glycolipid (G(M1)) to facilitate a specific binding uptake of the protein, cholera toxin B subunit (CT(B)), from solution. QCM-D confirmed the specificity of the cubosome-NAv binding. The analysis of titration experiments, also performed with QCM, suggests that an optimal concentration of cubosomes is required for the efficient packing of the particles at the surface: high cubosome concentrations lead to chaotic cubosome binding onto the surface, sterically inhibiting surface attachment, or require significant reorganization to permit uniform cubosome coverage. The methodology enabled the straightforward preparation of a complex nanostructured edifice, which was then used to specifically capture analyte proteins (cholera toxin B subunit or free NAv) from solution, supporting the potential for development of this approach as a biosensing platform.  相似文献

We report the crystal structures of two galactosylacetylenes: 3,7-anhydro-4,5,6,8-tetra-O-benzyl-1,1,2,2-tetradehydro-1,2-dideoxy-1-C-(trimethylsilyl)-D-glycero-L-mannooctitol (7) and 3,7-anhydro-4,5,6,8-tetra-O-benzyl-1,1,2,2-tetradehydro-1,2-D-glycero-L-mannooctitol (8). Summary.  Two-photon absorption induced fluorescence microscopy was used as a tool for the examination of the spatial distribution of a thin dye film. The two-photon absorption induced fluorescence signal is essentially the same as that produced by excitation with a single photon of equivalent energy. When femtosecond pulses are focused into a sample there is an intrinsic spatial selectivity of the two-photon emission signal, since it is dependent upon the square of the light intensity. This has tremendous implications in fluorescence microscopy. Since two-photon absorption is confined in a small region at the focal waist of an objective lens, photodamage and photobleaching of the sample are significantly reduced. In addition, the two-photon signal has inherent z-axis spatial resolution, which facilitates the construction of 3-D images. In the present work an application of this technique to a thin film of a dye is presented. The method can generally be applied to thin films made from photonic polymers. Received June 23, 2000. A novel z-scan technique suitable for elliptic Gaussian beams is proposed. It is based on the direct measurement of the beams semiaxes in the far field instead of the irradiance transmitted through an aperture, as in the case of circular beams. This technique overcomes, for the first time, the insurmountable obstacles encountered when a z-scan technique based on transmittance measurements is used in the case of elliptic beams. The experimental procedure of this technique is realized using a CCD camera connected to a laser beam profiler, and has the advantage of being insensitive to beam pointing instability and energy fluctuations.
