Metal-catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation is a powerful and practical method for the reduction of ketones to produce the corresponding secondary alcohols, which are valuable building blocks in the pharmaceutical, perfume, and agrochemical industries. Hence, a series of novel chiral β-amino alcohols were synthesized by chiral amines with regioselective ring opening of (S)-propylene oxide or reaction with (S)-(+)-2-hydroxypropyl p-toluenesulfonate by a straightforward method. The chiral ruthenium catalytic systems generated from [Ru(arene)(μ-Cl)Cl]2 complexes and chiral phosphinite ligands based on amino alcohol derivatives were employed in asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones to give the corresponding optically active alcohols; (2S)-1-{[(2S)-2-[(diphenylphosphanyl)oxy]propyl][(1R)-1-phenylethyl]amino}propan-2-yldiphenylphosphinitobis[dichol-oro(η6-benzene)ruthenium(II)] acts an excellent catalyst in the reduction of α-naphthyl methyl ketone, giving the corresponding alcohol with up to 99% ee. The substituents on the backbone of the ligands were found to have a remarkable effect on both the conversion and enantioselectivity of the catalysts. Furthermore, this transfer hydrogenation is characterized by low reversibility under these conditions. 相似文献

A new and versatile class of unsymmetrical ferrocenyl-phosphinite ligands possessing a stereogenic center has been prepared from commercially available, inexpensive aminoacids such as, d-, l-phenylglycine and d-, l-phenylalanine, through a concise synthetic procedure. These ligands are not very sensitive to air and moisture, and display good enantioselectivities in the ruthenium-catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone derivatives, in which up to 91% ee was obtained. A comparison of the catalytic properties of amino alcohols and other analogues based on a ferrocenyl backbone is also discussed briefly. The structures of these ligands and their corresponding complexes have been elucidated by a combination of multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. 相似文献

Ethyl 4,6-dimethyl-3-(pyrrol-1-yl) selenolo[2,3-b]pyridine-2-carboxylate (2) was synthesized by the reaction of previously prepared ethyl 3-amino-4,6-dimethyl selenolo[2,3-b]pyridine-2-carboxylate (1) with 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran in acetic acid. The pyrrolyl ester (2) was converted into the corresponding carbohydrazide 3 which reacted with acetyl acetone, aromatic aldehydes, carbon disulfide in pyridine, and sodium nitrite to afford the corresponding dimethyl pyrazolyl 4, arylidene carbohydrazides 5a–d, oxadiazolyl thiole 6, and caboazide compound 8, respectively. The carboazide 8 reacted with different alcohols and amines to give the corresponding carbamates 9a–c and the aryl urea derivatives 10a–d. Heating of carboazide 8 in dry xylene afforded the pyridoselenolo-pyrrolopyrazinone 11. The latter compound was used as a versatile starting precursor for synthesis of other pyridoselenolo-pyrrolopyrazine compounds. The newly synthesized compounds and their derivatives were characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopy (IR, 1H-NMR, and mass spectra). Some of the newly synthesized pyrrolyl selenolopyridine compounds showed remarkable antioxidant activity compared to ascorbic acid. 相似文献

Hydrogen-transfer reduction processes are attracting increasing interest from synthetic chemists in view of their operational simplicity. The new chiral C2-symmetric ligands N,N′-bis-[(1S)-1-sec-butyl-2-O-(diphenylphosphinite)ethyl]ethanediamide, 1 and N,N′-bis-[(1S)-1-phenyl-2-O-(diphenylphosphinite)ethyl]ethanediamide, 2 and the corresponding ruthenium complexes 3 and 4 have been prepared and their structures have been elucidated by a combination of multi-nuclear NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. 1H–31P NMR, DEPT, 1H–13C HETCOR, or 1H–1H COSY correlation experiments were used to confirm the spectral assignments. The catalytic activity of complexes 3 and 4 in transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone derivatives by iso-PrOH has also been studied. Under optimized conditions, these chiral ruthenium complexes serve as catalyst precursors for the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone derivatives in iso-PrOH and act as excellent catalysts, giving the corresponding chiral alcohols in 99% yield and up to 75% ee. This transfer hydrogenation is characterized by low reversibility under these conditions. 相似文献

Four metal complexes, IL-OPPh2-Ru-p-cymene (3) , IL-OPPh2-Ru-benzene (4) , IL-OPPh2-Ir-Cp* (5) , IL-OPPh2-Rh-COD (6) , have been evaluated for in vitro antioxidant activity such as 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging and reducing power activity. Maximum scavenging activity (71.43%) was obtained with IL-OPPh2-Ru-p-cymene, whereas IL-OPPh2-Rh-COD showed the highest reducing power ability. The complexes were also studied for their antimicrobial activity against three Gram-positive and three Gram-negative bacteria. In addition, DNA binding of the complexes was evaluated using calf thymus DNA. Both Ru(II) complexes exhibited good DNA-binding activity while the other complexes did not have any activity. Furthermore, ab initio quantum calculations of four complexes were also carried out using density functional theory to better understand their chemical behaviors. 相似文献

A series of Ni-doped cobalt ferrites NixCo1−xFe2O4 (x = 0.0, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, and 1.0) were prepared using microwave-induced combustion. Nickel, cobalt, and ferric nitrates were
used as starting materials and glycine as fuel. The influence of Ni content on the lattice parameter, stretching vibrations,
and magnetization was studied. XRD, FTIR, and SEM were used for structure, composition, and morphology investigation. A porous
network structure was observed with average particle size 60–67 nm. All samples had a cubic spinel structure. The unit cell
parameter “a” decreases linearly with nickel concentration due to the smaller ionic radius of nickel. Magnetization measurements
showed that coercivity decreased as Ni content increased; it increased with decreasing temperature.

A strong concentration dependence of the solvent–polymer interaction parameter χ is known to be a requirement for the first‐order volume phase transition in uncharged polymer networks in solvents. Another possibility for the observation of phase transition in nonpolar networks is to increase the number of lattice sizes occupied by a solvent molecule. This possibility has been indicated earlier and is worked out in detail in this paper. Using the theory of swelling equilibrium, we examine the polymer network systems immersed in a polymer melt. The critical conditions for the phase transition in both uncharged and ionic networks are described. 相似文献
