In this paper, the parametric scattering of a single extraordinary polarized beam of laser in BaTiO3 photorefractive crystal has been investigated experimentally and theoretically. The resulting pattern consists of beam fanning, isotropic ring, and anisotropic one. Among all parts of scattering pattern, isotropic ring has not been studied as much as beam fanning and anisotropic ring, and there still are some differences in reports about it. Therefore, the study has mainly focused on this part. In this experimental configuration, isotropic ring is just visible in positive angles although the other parts of parametric scattering pattern can be visible from behind and in front of the crystal. In addition to steady state pattern in forward and backward directions, its transient behavior with the rotation of crystal has been studied. The results of experiments have been analyzed carefully, and their theoretical explanations have been presented based on the standard theory of parametric scattering in photorefractive crystals. It has been shown that this configuration corresponds to the so called parametric B-process scattering.  相似文献

The self-chemical ionization of diethylzinc is examined by Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) mass spectrometry and semiempirical molecular orbital calculations. Electron impact of diethylzinc neutral produces the radical cation, C(4)H(15)Zn(+) (m/z x 122), which reacts further with the neutral (C(2)H(5))(2)Zn to give the following product ions: Zn(+) (m/z x 64), C(2)H(5)Zn(+) (m/z x 93), C(4)H(9)Zn(+) (m/z x 121), C(4)H(11)Zn(2)(+) (m/z x 187), and C(6)H(15)Zn(2)(+) (m/z x 215). To determine the structure and pathways for production of these ions, monoisotopic (12)C(4)H(15)(64)Zn(+), (64)Zn(+) and (12)C(2)H(5)(64)Zn(+) were individually isolated and reacted with the neutral background. We also performed semiempirical molecular orbital calculations (ZINDO/1). The molecular orbital calculations and experimental data are consistent in predicting that the ethyl group on the diethylzinc cation carries the positive charge. Dual-frequency 2D IR heterodyne photon-echo spectroscopy of C[triple bond]N and C=O stretching vibrational modes in 2-cyanocoumarin is reported. We have shown that the interaction among these modes provides convenient and useful structural constraints for molecules. Implementation of two pulse sequences, 4, 4, and 6 microm and 6, 6, and 4 microm, allowed the clear determination of contributions caused by vibrational relaxation. Positive correlation between C[triple bond]N and C=O frequency distributions was observed in 2-cyanocoumarin. Because C[triple bond]N modes are highly localized and have frequencies in a spectral region with minimal water absorption, the C[triple bond]N/C=O interactions have a strong potential for use as structural reporters in proteins. In addition to CN/CO peaks, the cross-peaks responsible for the C[triple bond]N/C=C interaction are also observed in the 2D IR spectra, where C=C is a coumarin ring stretching mode. We have demonstrated that 2D IR spectroscopy can utilize interactions of strong IR modes with weak local modes as structural reporters.  相似文献

The relaxation-assisted two-dimensional infrared (RA 2DIR) method is a novel technique for probing structures of molecules, which relies on vibrational energy transport in molecules. In this article we demonstrate the ability of RA 2DIR to detect the bond connectivity patterns in molecules using two parameters, a characteristic intermode energy transport time (arrival time) and a cross-peak amplification coefficient. A correlation of the arrival time with the distance between the modes is demonstrated. An 18-fold amplification of the cross-peak amplitude for the modes separated by approximately 11 A is shown using RA 2DIR; larger cross-peak amplifications are expected for the modes separated by larger distances. The RA 2DIR method enhances the applicability of 2DIR spectroscopy by making practical the long-range measurements using a variety of structural reporters, including weak IR modes. The data presented demonstrate the analytical power of RA 2DIR which permits the speedy structural assessments of the bond connectivity patterns.  相似文献

In this paper, we report our measurements of back-angle oxygen and carbon particle yields from 16O+89Y, 12C+93Nb reactions forming the same compound nucleus 105Ag at the same excitation energy and spin distribution. We find anomalously large oxygen yield and entrance channel dependence at high excitation energies from 16O+89Y reaction implying formation of a dinuclear orbiting complex. Possible connection between nuclear orbiting and fast fission is also discussed.  相似文献
