A selective cleavage of acetals of 1,2- and 1,3-diols has been achieved under mild conditions using ZnBr2 in dichloromethane at room temperature. Acetal types cleavable by this procedure include benzylidene, isopropylidene and cyclohexylidene acetals. This method is compatible with several other types of hydroxyl protecting groups such as Bn, Bz, TBDPS, TIPS and TBDMS. 相似文献

The first stereoselective syntheses of the naturally occurring, ,β-unsaturated lactone hyptolide 1 and of its nonnatural epimer at C-6 are described. Ethyl l-lactate was the chiral starting material. [reaction: see text] A total synthesis of the naturally occurring, cytotoxic macrolide FD-891 is described. Three fragments were first stereoselectively constructed using mainly asymmetric aldol and allylation reactions. The complete framework was then assembled using two Julia-Kocienski olefinations to connect the three fragments and a Yamaguchi reaction to close the macrolactone ring. 相似文献

Fast atom bombardment, combined with high-energy collision-induced tandem mass spectrometry, has been used to investigate gas-phase metal-ion interactions with captopril, enalaprilat and lisinopril, all angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors.Suggestions for the location of metal-binding sites are presented. For captopril, metal binding occurs most likely at both the sulphur and the nitrogen atom. For enalaprilat and lisinopril, binding preferably occurs at the amine nitrogen. Electrospray mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry was used to investigate the gas‐phase properties of protonated expanded porphyrins, in order to correlate those with their structure and conformation. We have selected five expanded meso‐pentafluorophenyl porphyrins, respectively, a pair of oxidized/reduced fused pentaphyrins (22 and 24 π electrons), a pair of oxidized/reduced regular hexaphyrins (26 and 28 π electrons) and a regular doubly N‐fused hexaphyrin (28 π electrons). The gas‐phase behavior of the protonated species of oxidized and reduced expanded porphyrins is different. The oxidized species (aromatic Hückel systems) fragment more extensively, mainly by the loss of two HF molecules. The reduced species (Möbius aromatic or Möbius‐like aromatic systems) fragment less than their oxidized counterparts because of their increased flexibility. The protonated regular doubly fused hexaphyrin (non‐aromatic Hückel system) shows the least fragmentation even at higher collision energies. In general, cyclization through losses of HF molecules decreases from the aromatic Hückel systems to Möbius aromatic or Möbius‐like aromatic systems to non‐aromatic Hückel systems and is related to an increase in conformational distortion. We have investigated several 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions of a chiral nitrone prepared from L-erythrulose. While cycloadditions to carbon-carbon multiple bonds of dipolarophiles such as ethyl acrylate, ethyl propiolate, or dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate were poorly stereoselective, reaction with acrylonitrile provided predominantly one diastereomeric adduct. Furthermore, the regioselectivity exhibited by the two structurally similar dipolarophiles ethyl acrylate and ethyl propiolate was found to be opposite. The molecular mechanisms of these cycloadditions have thus been investigated by means of density functional theory (DFT) methods with the B3LYP functional and the 6-31G and 6-31+G basis sets. A simplified achiral version of nitrone 1 as the dipole, and methyl propiolate or acrylonitrile as the dipolarophiles, were chosen as computational models. The cycloadditions have been shown to take place through one-step pathways in which the C-C and C-O sigma bonds are formed in a nonsynchronous way. For the reaction with methyl propiolate, DFT calculations predict the experimentally observed meta regioselectivity. For the reaction with acrylonitrile, however, the predicted regioselectivity has been found to depend on the computational level used. The calculations further indicate the exo approach to be energetically favored in the case of the latter dipolarophile, in agreement with experimental findings. The main reason for this is the steric repulsion between the nitrile function and one of the methyl groups on the nitrone that progressively develops in the alternative endo approach. 相似文献

The article discusses the problem of determining the secondary steady flow in a plane duct when a sound field is superimposed on an undisturbed compressible laminar flow. It is shown that under certain simplifying conditions the velocity distribution of the secondary flow in the wall region is given by a simple analytical expression. In the rest of the duct the problem is reduced to the solution of a linear fourth-order ordinary differential equation (in complex variables); this problem is solved numerically. The indicated equation is transformed to an Airy equation for large Reynolds numbers Re of the undisturbed flow. Several structural analogues of the polyketide passifloricin lactone were synthesized using asymmetric stereoselective allylations and ring-closing methateses as key reactions. These compounds were active in vitro against intracellular amastigotes of Leishmania panamensis (strain UA140), trophozoites of Plasmodium falciparum (strain NF54), and Mycobacterium tuberculosis (strain H37Rv). However, in spite of the significative antiparasitic activity of some synthetic analogues a high cytotoxicity was also observed. Based on these results a lactam derivative was also synthesized. This compound maintained a good level of activity with less toxicity. 相似文献
