Equisetum arvense L. is a herbaceous medicinal plant, commonly known as horsetail, whose extracts have been reported to possess diuretic and haemostatic properties. The aim of this study was to evaluate the use of fingerprint chromatographic methods on commercially available raw materials or preparations of E. arvense L. in order to ascertain their quality and identify possible adulterants using HPLC and HPTLC densitometry. Two chromatographic methods were used to determine the chemical fingerprints of E. arvense and other allied species. The first was based on HPTLC identification followed by densitometric measurement at 350?nm. The second was based on HPLC separation. The ease of sample preparation and the possibility of simultaneous analysis of several samples in a short time make HPTLC a method of choice for the comprehensive quality evaluation of herbal products. 相似文献

Cerebrospinal fluid proteins from 42 children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia were analysed by isotachophoresis. The isotachopherograms of cerebrospinal fluid taken from patients undergoing central nervous system prophylaxis with neurological complications showed an increase of several peaks (albumin, prealbumin, and an unidentified peak), and changes in the globulin zone, compared with those from patients who had completed central nervous system prophylaxis for at least six months. The most striking finding was that these alterations were not associated with any other biochemical changes in the cerebrospinal fluid, as assayed by routine analysis. Isotachophoresis may be useful in the monitoring of therapy in children affected with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. 相似文献

The effect of sample orientation on atomic emission in laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) was studied using time-resolved imaging and spectroscopy. The purpose of this work was to determine the effect of sampling geometry on the analytical performance of the LIBS measurement. The results obtained indicate that atoms are ejected perpendicular to the sample surface independent of the angle-of-incidence of the laser pulse. This result is consistent with previous work by others. In addition, it was found that the observed LIBS atomic emission intensities were maximum for normal laser pulse incidence, reached a minimum at 50° angle-of-incidence, and then increased as the sample was rotated to higher angles-of-incidence 相似文献

Summary A method is proposed for the extraction, separation, identification and quantitative measurement of rhodamine B in cosmetics samples The colour is extracted with a solution of orthophosphoric acid in either water or DMF (depending on the type of cosmetic) adsorbed on a polyamide column, and then eluted with water and methanol. Further clean-up of the extract is performed by means of a Bond Elut C-18 cartridge, from which rhodamine B is eluted with methanol-water (82). The final eluate is examined by HPLC. Chromatography is performed on a C-18 column with a gradient elution from 5050 to 7030 of acetonitrile-water, containing 0.1 M sodium perchlorate, in 15 min. A diodearray detector enables peak purity analysis. The method gives recovery values of approximately 90%, or better, and the reproducibility is within 4%. 相似文献
