The crystal structure of the title compound, C20H18N2O, reveals a distorted half‐chair conformation of the central tetrahydropyridine (THP) ring, with the cyano‐ and adjacent phenyl‐substituted C atoms displaced by 0.329 (1) and ?0.315 (1) Å, respectively, from the THP best plane. Steric interactions force the phenyl rings out of the THP plane by 49.21 (9) and 65.76 (5)°. The cyano moiety is coplanar with the THP plane. 相似文献
The title compound, C20H16N2O, has two molecules in the asymmetric unit and the crystal structure shows that the central pyridine ring of each molecule has a flat boat conformation. The terminal C atom in one of the molecules is disordered over two positions, with relative occupancies of 0.594 (14) and 0.398 (14). Intermolecular C—H?N and C—H?π interactions and π–π stacking, along with intramolecular C—H?N and C—H?π interactions, help to stabilize the structure. 相似文献
The stereochemical preference of the biocatalyst, Candida parapsilosis ATCC 7330, was investigated with respect to the E/Z configuration in the deracemization and the asymmetric reduction of aryl secondary alcohols and prochiral ketones, respectively. The biocatalyst preferred the E-isomers over Z-isomers as substrates as evidenced from the experimental results of >99% ee and up to 86% isolated yield for E-secondary alcohols. The synthesis of enantiomerically pure E-4-phenylbut-3-ene-1,2-diol (ee >99%, isolated yield 86%) by whole cell mediated deracemization is reported here for the first time. The geometric preference of the enzymes was confirmed by using the cell free extract of this biocatalyst. Mechanistic insights using in silico studies showed that the E-isomers when located in the active site are favourably placed with respect to the catalytic triad (Ser-Tyr-Lys) for hydride transfer from NADPH. 相似文献
Distribution of natural radionuclide gives significant parameter to assess the presence of gamma radioactivity and its radiological effect in our environment. Natural radionuclides are present in the form of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K in soil, rocks, water, air, and building materials. Distribution of natural radionuclides depends on the type of minerals present in the soil and rocks. For this purpose gamma spectrometer is used as tool for finding the concentration of these radionuclides. The activity concentration of naturally occurring radionuclides 226Ra, 232Th and 40K in these soil samples were found to vary from of 8 ± 1 Bq/kg to 50 ± 10 Bq/kg with an average 20 Bq/kg, 7 ± 1–88 ± 16 Bq/kg with an Average 26 Bq/kg and 115 ± 18–885 ± 132 Bq/kg with an average 329 Bq/kg, respectively. In this paper, we are presenting the radiological effect due to distribution of natural radionuclide present in soil of Garhwal Himalaya. 相似文献

Surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the conventional treatment modalities of cancer though successful are limited by presence of residual tumor cells, toxic side-effects and treatment resistance, thus raising the need for investigating other novel approaches. Here, we have used a cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) jet and assessed the in vitro efficacy in gingivobuccal squamous cell carcinoma (GB-SCC) – ITOC-03, breast adenocarcinoma—MCF7 and HEK293 cells. Cells lines were subjected to varying doses of ionizing radiation (0, 2, 4, 6, 8 Gy) and CAP jet treatment (0, 60, 180, 240, 300 s). CAP jet treatment showed time dependent increase in H2O2 and NO2? concentration. Cell viability assay showed potent effect of CAP jet on all three cell lines in comparison to radiation treatment, while helium gas treatment showed minimal inhibitory effect. Irradiated, CAP jet and helium gas treated cells showed loss of nucleic acid features, 788 cm?1 and 1340 cm?1 in Raman spectra, indicating DNA damage. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) showed distinct classification of CAP-treated and control cells, while Principal Component – Linear Discriminant Analysis (PC-LDA) based classification of Raman spectra showed ITOC-03 and HEK293 cells to be sensitive to CAP jet and radiation treatment in comparison to MCF7 cells. Collectively, cell viability assay and Raman spectroscopy have shown potent effect of CAP jet in GB-SCC and breast adenocarcinoma cells.
