Auger processes are investigated for CdS/ZnS core-shell quantum dots. Auger recombination (AR) lifetime and electron relaxation inside the core are computed. Using the effective-mass theory and by solving a three-dimension Schrödinger equation we predict the dependence of Auger relaxation on size of core-shell nanocrystals. We considered in this work different AR processes: the excited electron (EE), excited hole (EH), multiexciton AR type. Likewise, Auger multiexciton recombination rates are predicted for biexciton. Our results show that biexciton AR type is more efficient than the other AR process (excited electron (EE) and excited hole (EH)). We also found that electron Auger relaxation PS is very efficient in core-shell nanostructures.  相似文献

4‐Phenyl‐4‐thiazoline‐2‐thiol is an active pharmaceutical compound, one of whose activities is as a human indolenamine dioxygenase inhibitor. It has been shown recently that in both the solid state and the gas phase, the thiazolinethione tautomer should be preferred. As part of both research on this lead compound and a medicinal chemistry program, a series of substituted arylthiazolinethiones have been synthesized. The molecular conformations and tautomerism of 4‐(2‐methoxyphenyl)‐4‐thiazoline‐2‐thione and 4‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐4‐thiazoline‐2‐thione, both C10H9NOS2, are reported and compared with the geometry deduced from ab initio calculations [PBE/6‐311G(d,p)]. Both the crystal structure analyses and the calculations establish the thione tautomer for the two substituted arylthiazolinethiones. In the crystal structure of the 2‐methoxyphenyl regioisomer, the thiazolinethione unit was disordered over two conformations. Both isomers exhibit similar hydrogen‐bond patterns [R22(8) motif] and form dimers. The crystal packing is further reinforced by short S…S interactions in the 2‐methoxyphenyl isomer. The conformations of the two regioisomers correspond to stable geometries calculated from an ab initio energy‐relaxed scan.  相似文献

ZnO, Zn0.95Ni0.05O and core@shell ZnO@??-Fe2O3 nanoparticles (NPs) have been prepared by forced hydrolysis in polyol medium and then coated via the ??grafting from?? approach with poly(sodium-4-styrenesulfonate) and poly(sodium-4-styrenesulfonate?Cco?Csodium methacrylate) in the case of ZnO. The surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization occurred from the surface-functionalized NPs with ??-bromoisobutyric acid as initiator. The polymer chains were grown from the surface to yield hybrid NPs with a 1?C3-nm thick organic shell. FT-IR, TGA and electron microscopy evidenced the presence of a polymer layer on the surface of NPs. Magnetic and optical properties of bare and coated NPs have been measured. Eventually, the weak cytotoxicity of coated NPs on human endothelial cell allows considering their potentialities as new tools for nanomedicine and biomedical imaging.  相似文献
