Various novel polycyclic thiopyranoindol annulated [3,4-c]quinolone derivatives were synthesized via domino Knoevenagel-hetero-Diels–Alder reactions of indoline-2-thions and novel N-acrylated anthranilaldehydes in refluxing ethanol as a solvent in the presence of 20 mol% ZnBr2 as a Lewis acid catalyst. Nowadays, nanostructures have been given significant attention in medical and biological fields. Among these nanostructures, graphene oxide (GO) has been widely used in drug delivery systems, because of its unique properties, and the ability to connect to other nanostructures such as magnetic nanoparticles (NPs) as well as polymers by its functional groups. In this research, first, GO was prepared by exfoliating graphite according to the modified Hummer’s method, and then the Fe3O4 NPs were synthesized by a simple co-precipitation method on GO nanosheets. In the next step, with the help of the ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide/N-hydroxysuccinimide coupling reagents, the polyethylene glycol (PEG) polymer was bonded to the GO-Fe3O4 nanocomposite. Finally, anti-cancer drug, curcumin (Cur) was loaded onto the nanocomposite and the Cur loading ratio was measured at about 8%. The samples were evaluated using Fourier transform-infrared, differential scanning calorimtery, vibrating-sample magnetometry, atomic force microscopy and dynamic light scattering techniques. The results show that the prepared nanocomposite is an appropriate candidate for biomedical applications. 相似文献

Summary. Photooxidation of ethylbenzene with oxygen to give ethylbenzene hydroperoxide has been achieved in a stirred photochemical reactor that was cooled by a water system by irradiation with a 400W high-pressure mercury lamp and using TiO2 powder and metal coated TiO2. The effects of the amount of copper or silver coated on TiO2 and of the temperature on the rate of oxidation have been investigated. It is suggested that thermal cleavage of the O–O bond and photochemically generated singlet oxygen should be considered as the initiating step in a radical chain mechanism. An optimum loading of 6% Ag or 4–5% Cu was observed for photooxidation of ethylbenzene. 相似文献

The Biginelli reaction, involving a three-component reaction of an aromatic aldehyde, urea and ethyl acetoacetate, has emerged as an extremely useful synthetic tool to organic chemists for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidine-2-(1H)-ones and related heterocyclic compounds. In the past decades, the asymmetric variants of this reaction have been at the forefront of investigations in several research groups. During manufacture of engines, evaluation of engine performance is essential. This is accomplished in test cells. During the test, a significant portion of heat energy released by the fuel is wasted. In this study, in order to recover these heat losses, Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) is recommended. The study has been conducted assuming the diesel oil to be composed of a single hydrocarbon such as C12H26. The composition of exhaust gases (products of combustion) have been computed (and not determined experimentally) from the stoichiometric equation representing the combustion reaction. The test cell heat losses are recovered in three separate heat exchangers (preheater, evaporator and superheater). These heat exchangers are separately designed, and the whole system is analyzed from energy and exergy viewpoints. Finally, a parametric study is performed to investigate the effect of different variables on the system performance characteristics such as the ORC net power, heat exchangers effectiveness, the first law efficiency, exergy destruction and heat transfer surfaces. The results of the study show that by utilizing ORC, heat recovery equivalent to 8.85 % of the engine power is possible. The evaporator has the highest exergy destruction rate, while the pump has the lowest among the system components. Heat transfer surfaces are calculated to be 173.6, 58.7, and 11.87 m2 for the preheater, evaporator and superheater, respectively. 相似文献

Silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were efficiently generated by in situ reduction of silver ions via butylated hydroxytoluene
(BHT), in poly(methyl methacrylate). The characterization of Ag/PMMA by TEM, SEM, XRD, and FTIR indicated that Ag NPs with
a face center cubic (fcc) crystal structure and a mean diameter of about 30 nm were dispersed in PMMA matrix with a relatively
uniform distribution. In addition, the results of UV–Vis spectroscopy indicated that optical properties of the nanocomposite
appeared mainly dependent on the reaction time and temperature. Increasing the reaction time and temperature make higher yield
of Ag NPs. A provisional reduction mechanism was also proposed for the formation of the Ag NPs. 相似文献
