The Shubnikov-de Haas like oscillation and rapid increase of the carrier concentration above the quantum limit magnetic field (H0) are observed in Pb1?xSnxTe doped with indium (x=0.33 and 0.35). Experimental results can be reproduced satisfactorily by the calculation based on the Fermi level pinning model due to In-impurities, where we take into account the level broadening (Г) effect of the band structure. It is confirmed that the increasing rate of carrier concentration with respect to magnetic field above H0 decreases with larger Г.  相似文献

We present a simple method for determining Scott modules of finite groups using just the Brauer tree of the principal block and the values of ordinary characters at non-identity p-elements. Previously, determining Scott modules often involved long calculations. The method is applicable to the case where finite groups have cyclic Sylow p-subgroups. The structure of a Scott module is closely related to the length of the shortest path from the vertex labeled by the trivial ordinary character to the exceptional vertex in the Brauer tree. We classify the structures of the Scott modules and the ordinary characters they afford, by the length of the associated path in the Brauer tree.  相似文献

The development of chemoselective C(sp3)-H deuteration is of particular interest in synthetic chemistry. We herein report the α-selective, iridium(iii)-bipyridonate-catalyzed hydrogen(H)/deuterium(D) isotope exchange of alcohols using deuterium oxide (D2O) as the primary deuterium source. This method enables the direct, chemoselective deuteration of primary and secondary alcohols under basic or neutral conditions without being affected by coordinative functional groups such as imidazole and tetrazole. Successful substrates for deuterium labelling include the pharmaceuticals losartan potassium, rapidosept, guaifenesin, and diprophylline. The deuterated losartan potassium shows higher stability towards the metabolism by CYP2C9 than the protiated analogue. Kinetic and DFT studies indicate that the direct deuteration proceeds through dehydrogenation of alcohol to the carbonyl intermediate, conversion of [IrIII–H] to [IrIII−D] with D2O, and deuteration of the carbonyl intermediate to give the α-deuterated product.

An α-selective, iridium(iii)-bipyridonate-catalyzed hydrogen isotope exchange of alcohols using D2O has been developed for the direct, chemoselective deuteration of primary and secondary alcohols, thereby providing deuterated bioactive molecules.  相似文献

The regular fold content of polyhexamethylene adipamide depends on the initial crystallization conditions, the degree of orientation, and the annealing time and temperature. At low annealing temperatures, the regular fold content increases linearly with crystallinity and arises from lamellar crystallization of isolated amorphous or interlamellar regions. At intermediate annealing temperatures, the increase in regular fold content greatly exceeds the crystallinity increase. The excessive increase in folds in this temperature range arises from regularization of loose loops and melting and recrystallization from extended to more folded type of crystals. At the higher annealing temperature, the crystallinity shows an increase relative to the fold content, and this implies that the increase in fold period occurs at the expense of folding.  相似文献

The set of participants in an assignment configuration is allowed to expand dynamically as long as certain relative preference conditions are maintained. Ultra-fast carrier decay, recently discovered in a hydrogenated amorphous silicon waveguide, can be exploited for pattern-effect-free all-optical signal processing based on optical Kerr nonlinearity. In this study, we utilized a 10 Gbit/s RZ-OOK data stream as a pump for degenerate four-wave mixing in a low-loss hydrogenated amorphous silicon waveguide. The propagation loss of the waveguide used was 1.0±0.2 dB/cm at 1550 nm. Unlike crystalline silicon waveguides, no noticeable difference was observed in the BER characteristics between the cases of PRBS 2(7)-1 and 2(31)-1.  相似文献

Simultaneous measurements of oxygen and heat rates are useful for the determination of thermodynamics and kinetics of metabolic and chemical reactions involving oxygen. Optrodes have not previously been used to measure oxygen inside calorimetric vessels. The optrode used in this study produces <2 μW and can be used to make measurements in both gaseous and aqueous systems. An external syringe injection of air was used to calibrate the optrode, and zinc–air batteries were used to evaluate the system. Data on maple leaf buds were collected to demonstrate application to respiration measurements.  相似文献
