A newly synthesized one‐dimensional (1D) hydrogen‐bonded (H‐bonded) rhodium(II)–η5‐semiquinone complex, [Cp*Rh(η5‐p‐HSQ‐Me4)]PF6 ([ 1 ]PF6; Cp*=1,2,3,4,5‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl; HSQ=semiquinone) exhibits a paraelectric–antiferroelectric second‐order phase transition at 237.1 K. Neutron and X‐ray crystal structure analyses reveal that the H‐bonded proton is disordered over two sites in the room‐temperature (RT) phase. The phase transition would arise from this proton disorder together with rotation or libration of the Cp* ring and PF6? ion. The relative permittivity εb′ along the H‐bonded chains reaches relatively high values (ca., 130) in the RT phase. The temperature dependence of 13C CP/MAS NMR spectra demonstrates that the proton is dynamically disordered in the RT phase and that the proton exchange has already occurred in the low‐temperature (LT) phase. Rate constants for the proton exchange are estimated to be 10?4–10?6 s in the temperature range of 240–270 K. DFT calculations predict that the protonation/deprotonation of [ 1 ]+ leads to interesting hapticity changes of the semiquinone ligand accompanied by reduction/oxidation by the π‐bonded rhodium fragment, producing the stable η6‐hydroquinone complex, [Cp*Rh3+(η6‐p‐H2Q‐Me4)]2+ ([ 2 ]2+), and η4‐benzoquinone complex, [Cp*Rh+(η4‐p‐BQ‐Me4)] ([ 3 ]), respectively. Possible mechanisms leading to the dielectric response are discussed on the basis of the migration of the protonic solitons comprising of [ 2 ]2+ and [ 3 ], which would be generated in the H‐bonded chain. 相似文献

A new one-dimensional (1-D) halogen-bridged mixed-valence diplatinum(II,III) compound, Pt(2)(EtCS(2))(4)I (3), has been successfully synthesized from [Pt(2)(EtCS(2))(4)] (1) and [Pt(2)(EtCS(2))(4)I(2)] (2). These three compounds have been examined using UV-visible-near-IR, IR, polarized Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and X-ray crystal structure analyses (except for 1). Compound 3 was further characterized through electrical transport measurements, determination of the temperature dependence of lattice parameters, X-ray diffuse scattering, and SQUID magnetometry. 3 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c and exhibits a crystal structure consisting of neutral 1-D chains with a repeating -Pt-Pt-I- unit lying on the crystallographic 2-fold axis parallel to the b axis. The Pt-Pt distance at 293 K is 2.684 (1) A in the dinuclear unit, while the Pt-I distances are essentially equal (2.982 (1) and 2.978 (1) A). 3 shows relatively high electrical conductivity (5-30 S cm(-1)) at room temperature and undergoes a metal-semiconductor transition at T(M-S) = 205 K. The XPS spectrum in the metallic state reveals a Pt(2+) and Pt(3+) mixed-valence state on the time scale of XPS spectroscopy ( approximately 10(-17) s). In accordance with the metal-semiconductor transition, anomalies are observed in the temperature dependence of the crystal structure, lattice parameters, X-ray diffuse scattering, and polarized Raman spectra near T(M-S). In variable-temperature crystal structure analyses, a sudden and drastic increase in the Pt-I distance near the transition temperature is observed. Furthermore, a steep increase in U(22) of iodine atoms in the 1-D chain direction has been observed. The lattice parameters exhibit significant temperature dependence with drastic change in slope at about 205-240 K. This was especially evident in the unit cell parameter b (1-D chain direction) as it was found to lengthen rapidly with increasing temperature. X-ray diffraction photographs taken utilizing the fixed-film and fixed-crystal method for the metallic state revealed the presence of diffuse scattering with line shapes parallel to the a* axis indexed as (-, n + 0.5, l) (n; integer). Diffuse scattering with k = n + 0.5 is considered to originate from the 2-fold periodical ordering corresponding to -Pt(2+)-Pt(2+)-I-Pt(3+)-Pt(3+)-I- or -Pt(2+)-Pt(3+)-I-Pt(3+)-Pt(2+)-I- in an extremely short time scale. Diffuse lines corresponding to 2-D ordering progressively decrease in intensity below 252 K and are converted to the diffuse planes corresponding to 1-D ordering near T(M-S). Furthermore, diffuse planes condensed into superlattice reflections below T(M-S). Polarized Raman spectra show temperature dependence through a drastic low-energy shift of the Pt-I stretching mode and also through broadening of bands above T(M-S). 相似文献

Anti-ribonucleoprotein (anti-RNP) antibodies are one of the representative autoantibodies detectable in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD). Generally, posttranslational modifications (PTMs) on autoantigens are proposed to be involved in the production of autoantibodies. In this study, we tried to detect the alteration in PTMs on a U1 small nuclear RNP 68k subunit (U1-68k), a major antigen of anti-RNP antibodies. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were obtained from patients with MCTD, SLE, and rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and from healthy donors. U1-68ks in the PBMCs were detected by 2D Western blot (WB), where extracted nuclear proteins were separated by 2DE, followed by the detection of U1-68k using WB. More than 20 PTM isoforms were detected with different molecular weights of 65.0 , 66.5, and 68.0kDa, and different pIs between 6.0 and 8.5. Importantly, the relative intensity of the spot with 66.5 kDa and pI 7.5 was significantly increased in the MCTD and SLE groups compared to the RA and healthy groups. Further, this U1-68k isoform, in particular, in its RS domain, was found to have significantly decreased phosphorylation compared to the other isoforms. The PTM alternation may be one of the steps to generate the anti-RNP antibodies. 相似文献

Iron-catalyzed synthesis of glycine derivatives via carbon-nitrogen bond cleavage using diazoacetate
Treatment of tertiary amines with diazoacetate in the presence of a catalytic amount of an iron salt, FeCl(3), in ethanol gave glycine derivatives. In this reaction, a carbon-nitrogen single bond of the amine was cleaved. 相似文献

Heat capacity of halogen-bridged one-dimensional binuclear metal complex (so-called MMX chain) having four n-pentyl groups, Pt2(n-PenCS2)4I, was measured by adiabatic calorimetry. A first-order phase transition was observed at 207.4 K when measurement was made after cooling from room temperature. The enthalpy and entropy of transition were determined to be 10.19 kJ mol(-1) and 49.1 J K(-1) mol(-1), respectively. A monotropic phase transition was observed at 324 K on heating, and the entropy of transition was essentially null. The sample once heated above 324 K never returned to the initial phase at room temperature and underwent a higher-order phase transition at 173 K and a first-order phase transition at 220.5 K. The enthalpy and entropy of the first-order phase transition were estimated to be 11.6 kJ mol(-1) and 52.4 J K(-1) mol(-1), respectively. The magnitude of the entropy gain at the phase transition from the initial room-temperature phase to the high-temperature phase at 324 K shows that in Pt2(n-PenCS2)4I a large amount of entropy reserved in alkyl chain is transferred to dithiocarboxylato groups upon the phase transition, as in the cases of Pt2(n-PrCS2)4I and Pt2(n-BuCS2)4I. 相似文献

Objective: We explore the effects of body weight-supported (BWS) treadmill training, including the change of cortical activation, on a patient with post-stroke hemidystonia. Patient: The patient was a 71-year-old man with left thalamus hemorrhage. His motor symptoms indicated slight impairment. There was no overactive muscle contraction in the supine, sitting, or standing positions. During his gait, the right initial contact was the forefoot, and his right knee showed an extension thrust pattern. These symptoms suggested that he had post-stroke hemidystonia. Methods: The patient performed BWS treadmill training 14 times over 3 weeks. The effects of the BWS training were assessed by a step-length analysis, electromyography and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Results: The patient''s nonparetic step length was extended significantly in the Inter-BWS (p<0.001) and Post-BWS (p=0.025) periods compared to the Pre-BWS session. The excessive muscle activity of the right gastrocnemius medialis in the swing phase was decreased at the Inter-BWS, Post-BWS, and follow-up compared to the Pre-BWS session. The peak timing difference of the bilateral tibialis anterior muscle became significant (p<0.05) on the first day of the intervention. The fMRI revealed that the cortical areas activated by the motor task converged through the intervention (p<0.05, family-wise error corrected). Conclusion: These results suggest that there was improvement of the patient''s symptoms of post-stroke hemidystonia due to changes in the brain activity during voluntary movement after BWS intervention. Body weight-supported treadmill training may thus be an effective treatment for patients with poststroke hemidystonia. 相似文献

Treatment of beta-keto esters with terminal acetylenes in the presence of a catalytic amount of a manganese complex, MnBr(CO)5, and molecular sieves, gave multisubstituted aromatic compounds in good to excellent yields. This reaction employs [2 + 2 + 2] cycloaddition of beta-keto esters and 2 equiv of terminal acetylenes with dehydration. In the case of a 1,3-diketone, the corresponding acetophenone derivative and its deacylated compound can be synthesized selectively. 相似文献
