Entangled free induction decay (EFID) femtosecond signals are experimentally observed for the first time at a wavelength of 790 nm in a cadmium sulfide (CdS) crystal in the two-photon absorption (TPA) regime upon excitation by two crossed (angle, 60°) laser beams. The sample emitted two EFID signals simultaneously in opposite directions. The signals were diffracted by nonequilibrium electric polarization gratings induced by two laser beams in accordance with the laws of energy and momentum conservation. The possibility of exciting EFID signals in the three-photon absorption regime is discussed.  相似文献

The influence of Mn(II) ions on the rate of the reaction between ozone and model lignin compounds, guaiacol and veratrole, was studied. The catalyst did not influence the rate of the destruction of the aromatic ring and intermediate ozonolysis products, compounds with conjugated double bonds, in acid media but substantially increased the rate of oxidation of saturated carboxylic acids, ketoacids, and aldehydes. Ozone consumption then increased from 2 to 5 moles per mole of the transformed substrate. A mechanism of the catalytic action of Mn(II) in reactions between ozone and the compounds studied was suggested.  相似文献

The features of superfluorescence (SF) in nanoclusters, which consist of a few neighboring particles interacting with each other by exchange or/and electrostatic forces, are investigated theoretically. It is shown that there are two types of cooperatively SF depending on the ratio between the linear size of a nanocluster and the cooperative interaction range. Experiments on cooperative luminescence in Ytterbium-doped silica fibers are analyzed. It is shown that the intensity of cooperative SF in such a system should be proportional to the fourth degree of Ytterbium concentration.  相似文献

Adsorption of basic, neutral, and acidic proteins on poly(ethylene terephthalate) nucleopore membranes was studied as a function of solution pH. Higher adsorption values were observed for basic and neutral proteins and lower, for acidic proteins. The value of pH corresponding to maximal adsorption was somewhat lower than the isoelectric points of proteins, thus suggesting that the adsorption was governed by a combination of ionic and hydrophobic interactions between proteins and the membrane surface. Proteins were adsorbed in an associated form. Membrane surface was modified with poly(ethylene imine) and poly(ethylene glycol). Combined modification of the membranes with these polymers was found to substantially decrease the adsorption of basic and neutral proteins, as well as basic dye and to slightly increase the adsorption of acidic proteins. The modifying coating had a high hydrolytic stability.  相似文献
